We stopped here on our way up to Tahoe and had a great lunch. Great food and an awesome décor. Didn’t disappoint, will be sure to come through here again when we can enjoy the great margaritas!

Great atmosphere supported with better food, and those happy hour tostadas are no joke! I had a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man named Tim take care of me during my visit. I will recommend him and this restaurant to anyone. Professional and witty service with a smooth authentic ambiance. Thank you for the opportunity to dine here.

Creative menu. Great bar. Friendly service. Not the usual El Torito place. No ground beef enchiladas or tacos. If that works for you go and enjoy. If your standard of service is rapid and with a plastic HI! Then is probably not your spot. Now a regular stop for us.

I’ve been looking for a BOMB michelada and Tim the bartender makes the best ones in the area! I asked for my michelada with corona. He delivered it to perfection! In his words«respect the michelada». I will be back for more!

While I’ve been here a few times, I’ve only found myself at the bar so I’m not sure about the whole«waiting for a table» issue that others have found themselves in. My rule of thumb is always BAR; fast service, glass will always been half full, and you’ll be able to check out whenever you need to rather than waiting. Well let’s say I’m a fan of their sangria(not the same as Cha Cha Cha but a good competitor). I’ve always found myself ordering the sangria if I’m not in the mood to try anything else. But I have had their Margarita Tamarindo that did give me a head rush from all the sugar additive in the drink mix. If you’re ever around during the Christmas season I did also try their Holiday Milk Punch that was pretty good. With a few seasonings, half and half, a shot of this, and a shot of that… it was good. Wouldn’t order it again but ehh… It was okay. I had their Chiveche Acapulco that was my kinda flavor. I loved the sourness and the chip was great. If you dip their complementary chips in the salsa… it’s the die for. A previous time that I visited, their baked clams weren’t really tickling my fancy since it seemed like it needed to be cooked a bit longer. Service, overall, is alright and I’m sure to visit again for the sangria!

This is now my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurant in the 707 area. I love the friendly service, the venue atmosphere, and most of all the FOOD! I had the chicken enchiladas verde, which came with 2 enchiladas, avocado, cilantro rice(YUM), and black beans. It’s so filling I couldn’t finish. My mom had the carnitas plate, with Spanish rice, refried beans, avocado, and a tortilla. She barely touched her plate as well. The food was amazing, and it complimented well with her regular margarita, and my mojito. They also give you unlimited fresh chips and 2 salsas. On Fridays and Saturdays(I think), they have live bands. So we got to enjoy our meal with a few Christmas tunes playing in the background. They also decorated the venue adorably, and the staff were all dressed in Holiday sweaters. Loved it! I’ll for sure be back for more!

We came in and had to ask to be seat by the manager on duty. The waiter was very nice as we was seating we was never asked if we wanted water nor didn’t get silverware just chips. The manager was very rude when my wife asked her about the utinsel. Food was not hot when we received it very mad. Was not really tended to like a customer should have been SERVICESUCKSBYTHEMANAGER Will not be back at all BADBADBAD No sour cream for the tacos we ordered had to pay for the guacamole

Horrible service and cold food. Treated us bad. No water no silverware but everyone else got it. Really. I’d never come back. Plus when I brought it to the managers attention. She started talking crap to the workers as if I could not see them looking at us and talking about us. How unprofessional. Well guess what I’ll Unilocal it instead of making a stink and will Never return.

We ate here after a local recommendation while our of town. The restaurant is beautiful and shiek, the menu was great, food was delicious and the service was better than we have had at any restaurant in a very long time. My husband has the carnitas as he always does, and said they were delicious. I had the Chile relleno and it was also delicious. The guacamole was the freshest we’ve had. We loved it. Best experience out in a while!

I just found out Favela’s Fusion has an awesome lunch menu with killer prices! Not to mention their Margarita’s are killer too. It might be a dangerous place to stop for lunch if you can’t hold back your temptations. I’ve been very happy with the food and service by the staff in the restaurant and at the bar. I enjoy the variety of items on the menu, everything tastes fantastic.

First time here was Saturday night. Good atmosphere, margaritas & food. We sat at the bar and it was a busy night. Chris(?) was by himself and did his best but the bar was full all night and he should have had a bar-back or something. We had a couple rounds of Marg’s & then got some food. I had the chicken enchilada soup and the Z-tacos, both things I’d get again. Everything looked really good and everyone left full & happy.

First time dining here and came for their happy hour. We ordered Acapulco Ceviche from their regular menu and Mussels, steak street tacos, and fish tacos from their Happy Hour menu and enjoyed every dish. Between the tacos I thought the fish tacos were pretty tasty, and the highlight of all dishes had to have been the mussels. Our waiter was kind enough to let me order an extra drink from their happy hour menu since it was ending. I highly recommend their margaritas. As for the atmosphere it’s nicely decorated and would definitely come back again! Perfect for group dining and they a great happy hour cocktail menu.

Came here for a lunch date with my gal pals. My first impression of the place is that it is beautifully decorated and the bartender was great! We waited at the front for about 5 mins and the bartender decided to seat us himself and grab our drinks while we wait for the waitress. First impression was great, we were happy that we were taken care of quickly when it was decided the waitress was gonna be a while, but after getting our drinks everything basically went downhill. I ordered their fajitas(mixed chicken and shrimp$ and a strawberry lemonade. The drink was good but the food was way too expensive for not only the quality but even the quantity.(Don’t get me wrong if the quality was worth the expense then I would be more than willing to spend the extra amount) Unfortunately the same story was for my friends, small quantities and the quality was not there. I actually considered Chevy to be better all around for my meal(cheaper, more food, and quality of the dish) goes to say I was not happy my meal was nearly $ 30 for a mediocre meal. Only thing on point about this place was the drinks were good. And apart from the excellent service from the bartender but our waitress was just ok but I was given the impression she had a Eeyore mood. Sad to say I will not be returning and will stick with other local restaurants whose decent meals are reasonably priced.

I often make my way to this spot to watch a game at the bar or just have a snack before the torture of I-80 after work. The restaurant itself is small and beautifully decorated, and a little off the main roads for travelers through town. The staff is extraordinary and although this isn’t your average taqueria pricing, you get what you pay for. Try the guacamole and El Matador!

I find myself in this place quite often. The food is good. The prices a little up there but the quality of the food well worth it. They have a huge selection of drinks… I usually go for the mexican mule myself but hey they have options incase you want something else. My go to thing here is the ALBONDIGA soup its sososososososo good… and one even though it looks small will do the trick for me. Sometimes i cant even finish that…(i always want to leave room for desert but it always fails) Ive tried everything on their menu and everything is good. Their chile rellenos The shrimp the fajitas ect… you cant go wrong if you know that you want to eat what you order. If you are going in to try new things then ummmmmmm you might not like some of the stuff. There is definitely and aquired taste needed for some of these dishes… kust thought i add that. Now service… In all the times ive been here(even the ones i didnt check in for) the guys always outshine the girl servers. I dont know why… the girls always take longer, seem to get distracted and are not as attwntive. Not just with me but i observe and they are like that with all their tables. Usually one of the guy servers will have to get something for the girl servers table. The guys on the other hand. They are on point. Always get ur drink order right away(come on its a must get you drunk before u order your food. youll keep ordering more and prob leave a better tip lol) alright then after they bring you your drinks they take your appetizer or main course order and then after they put that in they come back and check to see if you would like another drink… perfect… now they give you your space only come when they see you running low or they are bringinf you something and usually when they bring you something they ask if theres anything else you might need… so one point for the guys 0 for the girls. The places is kept clean and i love the art work. Wll continue to come here awesome lil place to go relax after work and have a few drinks and good food

Very nice place, and great food. Love the smoked BBQ beaf on the salad, just taste fantastic! And the classic Mexico soup, with lots veggies and avocado. Was pleasantly surprised by the expansive and well adorned interior, beautiful lights, comfortable table and rustic chairs.

Unfortunately I think this time was our last for favelas. We first were served literally spoiled milk horchata. Gross but things do happen however when our quesadilla came out and our nachos, the guacamole on top of both items was so spoiled and foul tasting which just goes to show this place lacks quality control and has poor turnover. I’ll put my money elsewhere where I can get fresh food.

I appreciate this place for being a full service version of the walk up original place here in town. I also appreciate the full bar. The food is delicious. The ambience is great. The service is usually stretched, so it would be nice if they had an extra server most days. You might feel over charged for dinner in the evening, but a business lunch is just right. My favorite is the salmon salad with dressing on the side.
