So I gave them three stars, only because they had great customer interaction it felt nice they were so sweet and such but unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with the product. I came in the morning, figuring I’d try something new, and plus it’s good to support community coffee shops as well. So why not? I tried to ask for a veggie wrap to be told they didn’t have it, and asked for another item to be told they didn’t have it either. It was odd given it was early in the morning but I disregarded it as these things happen. What got me more is they advertised iced coffee. It was on one of their signs so I ordered it with some pumpkin spice syrup excited for the chance to enjoy some pumpkin spice and asked for a splash of soy. The baristas knew nothing about how to make their iced coffee, and was like«did you mean an iced latte? Cause we don’t have iced coffee» I kind of looked at him confused and pointed to the sign with the iced coffee on it, and he still kind of seemed thrown off by what I was asking, says by something on the lines of «I can add ice to it but it’ll melt and be cold» I kind of shrugged at it whatever. He then Asked me to pour the syrup without a pump because he wasn’t sure how much I wanted. It seemed really disorganized, he wasn’t sure about what the product was, or what I was asking. I tried to be forgiving but I couldn’t, I walked out and tossed the coffee. I probably won’t be Doing business unless it’s a simple coffee.

Went to try it with the wifey. Will never go back as it’s just a coffee shop. Really, just a plain coffee shop with nothing special

Staff isn’t the best but they’re probably bored with the lack of customers since it is so hard to find. I SUCCESSFULLYFOUNDTHEESTABLISHMENTWITHGOOGLEMAPS after driving around in circles and being told to park near hwy 12 then to walk here! I tried the Cinnamon Roll Latte with soy(I’m vegan) which was super creamy. I’d recommend it. I’ll be back to try the Bewley’s Fair Trade Chai, Café White Mocha and the Vanilla Cream Avalanche. Cool place to study! They’ve also got a system where they store your information which is pretty cool and convenient. If you’re using google maps, this place isn’t hard to find. I’ll definitely be coming here more often.

There are a lot of good things about this coffee shop. There are also a lot of things which could be done to elevate it to the status of an excellent, local café space. For starters: ambiance. There are some swell wall murals and a large, vivid piece near the front counter which saves the wall behind it from being a mere, load-bearing blank space for leaning against. Featuring abstract art, however, does not necessarily mean that abstract/modernist furniture and lighting must follow. The pendulum lights open up a space which already feels large and somewhat alienating; some large floor lamps with some solid, overstuffed couches would make patrons feel both comfortable and, well warmer. Take out the unused flatscreen TV in the corner– I’ve seen this more and more from café owners who tend to forget that patrons are usually café’ing in order to escape the bombardment of electronics. On that note: install some bookshelves, preferably with books. Put in a rug and ditch the furniture that looks like it belongs in a hotel lobby. Turn the adjacent room into a gallery for local artists and an open mic performance area in the evening and please, for the love of the gods, serve coffee and/or snacks from local sources. Preferably in a real mug, so that patrons can feel like they’re enjoying a cuppa from their favorite home ceramic-ware. Ditch the Welch’s juice and the sodas in the fridge; no one will drink the former. All will mutually benefit. That being said, the young woman at the counter was INCREDIBLY friendly and brought my coffee over herself. Please give her a raise. The space is clean and there is a decent menu’s worth of drinks on the wall. Best of all(and this is a bonus not to be taken lightly) there is free wifi, sans passcodes. There was some good motown on the stereo when I came in, which almost induces productivity. I’ll be watching this place in the meantime in the hopes of seeing it perk up with my fingers crossed.

I love to check out new places! This place was nice, although having to ignore the Tweens sitting behind us: p haha. The sandwich was really good. I love the chunk of cheese, rather than a thin slice like you’d get at other places. The location was a bit off, but I can see where’d there get their clientele, so bravo for them! :)

This place is so small but hidden, but what a surprise I’ve discovered! Only one barista was present when I walked in and I believe her name was Ladron. She was very sweet and helpful and gave me all the ridiculous amount of pickles with my sandwich as I wanted. The place itself is comfortable and very clean. In fact, I even witnessed Ladron sweeping the already clean floor. The tea I bought was hot and tasty, muffin moist, sandwich fresh and personalized. I just wish I had more time to visit more often.

Although visible from highway 12, access would be from Beck/Woolner to Enterprise Dr. My friend wanted some tea and we wanted to try out something more neighborhood not corporate. He Brews It! is a local café connected to the Mt. Calvery Church. Their goal is to not just provide money for the church but also to give jobs to local people(awesome!) Nice, clean and spacious café. Both of my friends ended having some tea. Can’t remember the flavors but they had lots to choose from. I ended up getting a large iced Chai with soy. It was very flavorful and spicy. Delicious. Support local business! For more info check out this article on them:

Awesome café w/great ambience, yummy drinks, and nice workers! Pros: 1. Great coffee? Check!(You must try the Cinnamon Roll Latte & Mayan Mocha). 2. Customer service? Workers are very helpful and nice. 3. Ample seating + outlets? Tons & it’s very spacious; perfect for studying/working on laptop. 4. Nice lighting? Yes, and during the day lots of sunlight enters the café through their ceiling-to-floor windows. 5. Clean bathroom? Yes. 6. Food? I didn’t try anything, so I can’t rate it. They make sandwiches & have pastries. Con: 1. It’s hidden. But that just may be a good thing = more seating for you and it allows for a relaxing atmosphere, especially if you want to get work done. Just look up directions for Mount Calvary Baptist Church and you’ll find it. It’s across the parking lot from the church.

A brand new café! I love trying independent coffee shops and I enjoyed my experience here. The owner was very friendly and chatty and my carmel macchiato was good, but a little too sweet for me. I will definitely come back and try something new. They have great tables to stay and study or work on your laptop.
