chris marc sharon and rose (in no particular order!) are extremely attentive to their business, very nice people. the food is all prep’d fresh daily. my «go-​to» is the brown rice w. chicken, grilled veggies, and the broccoli rabe. the #39 bbq chicken munster is awesome too. they’ll make anything you want that’s not on their extensive menu. i’m usually in 3 to 4 days per week. if you see a bit of a line during lunch time, don’t let that deter you, it moves quick, and its worth the wait.

Just had the most slamming-​ness Italian sub in a long time. Cold cuts are fresh and bread even better! The only minimal compliant specific to me is how they stack the cold cuts on the sandwich. I do not prefer the cold cut fold over. I much I prefer cold cuts stacked. But none the less, sandwich was GREAT! Wish I worked in Fairfield so I can eat there more often.

Best deli around town. Great social atmosphere. Chris and Marco are two of the best in the business. Food is always fresh. Their soups are amazing on a cold day and there is so much on the menu you will never get bored!!! Got a party catered and the food was on time and hot. Their Mozzarella is homemade so make sure you get the Goodfella.

My family eats here at least once a week! It’s family-​run, and you’ll be treated as though you belong. Chris, Marco, Sharon and Rosie run a swift, yet warm business, so the service is quick and friendly. Everything is so authentic, you’ll think your Italian Grandma is back in the kitchen. No pre-​packed salads here — they’re all made from scratch. Don’t miss their specialty — the cavatelli salad. You can have a different sandwich or salad every day for months and still not be able to pick a favorite, because they’re all too good! The hot specials are good old Italian comfort food. We’ve catered many events with these guys, and our guests are always blown away by each and every dish. If you’re not a regular here, you will be after your first visit.

I never knew this place existed until my boss ordered from this place for a conference lunch. Can I just say this place is the best Italian deli that I have ever been to and gotten food from. Their Classico wrap is so delicious and it so happens that every time I order from this place, it is the only thing I get because it is too good. Also the potato salad from here is phenomenal! Love this place!

Love this deli! My co-​worker and I have lunch from here at least once a week. Very friendly and fast service wise. Food is quality and not hurriedly put together. INgredients are fresh and they always have salads to offer!

I go to this place regularly because their food is fresh cooked each day. Great Italian American selection of sandwiches, wraps and hot specials each day.
Great Taylor ham, egg n cheese sandwiches also!
They make a to die for freshly made each morning mozzarella!
Then you have the freshly cooked broccoli rabe. Most fridays, I stop in for their fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe and grill veggies and I call it dinner.
The service is fast and friendly. A MUST to eat at if you want delicious fresh food FAST.

I had to think about this rating. Do I really want to attract attention at my favorite lunch place? Yikes! Well, it’s only fair. This is the go-​to lunch spot in the Fairfield area. It has a nice variety of sandwiches, (subs, paninis and wraps) and salads. It’s perfect for a quick grab, and nicely decorated for an eat-​in. It’s well-​staffed with friendly, competent people that aim to please. It doesn’t get any better.

Great service and a quality sandwich! Dinning area is great, especially when the guys are dissecting who will win the Super Bowl! Great neighborhood place!

Food is great but if you are a woman going in there be ready to get ignored by the women up front.
I stood right in front of the register to pay and they looked over my shoulder twice to help the men behind me before they asked me what I was there for.
The guys were nice but the women not so friendly.

This place has amazing sandwiches and they use the freshest ingredients. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good Italian sandwich.

I recently stopped here during lunch time while a visit to a client in Fairfield. I was really fiending for a really good sandwich so I opened up my trusty Unilocal app and began searching the general area and found Il Classico.
It sits in a strip mall on rt 46w, with plenty of sandwich options; it has pizzeria as well as a bagel shop both of which make sandwiches.
This place was bumping, it was totally packed all the tables were occupied and the line was five deep, but the operation being the well oiled machine that it is smacks out great sandwiches in a breeze and the line moved quite quickly for that reason.
I placed my order, a roast beef with lettuce, tomato, white American and oregano, grabbed a boylans root beer and grabbed a seat.
A few minutes later they brought my sandwich over to my table.
The roast beef was cooked nicely to the right rareness and they were quite generous with the offering.
The shop has a simple but solid sandwich menu, with many Italian American style sandwiches to choose from.
The crowd was rather eclectic on the day I visited from laborers/​construction workers, suits and ties and moms with their kids.
Overall this is a great sandwich shop/​deli.
