This is a nice and homey coffee shop. Parking is generally OK. I found a few of the patrons to be really obnoxious and loud and I’m hoping they aren’t there the next time I visit.

Las Vegas is becoming an institution in Fairfield. Andrew and his hard-working staff do an amazing job. they have a great selection of coffee, Hot cocoa, candy, brownies and cookies, delicious sandwiches and more! The décor and ambience is very special as well. I love this place.

I went there yesterday 1−20−16 for an early lunch and coffee. Met with a client for work. The coffee was very good and they have cool mugs if you want or just take out cups. The atmosphere is great and they have wifi. I had a humus sandwhich with lettuce and tomato which was good I guess average for this type of place. My client had sausage egg and cheese on an English muffin looked good! The only thing I was not happy with was it doesn’t look like a clean place. The floor had crumbs and just didn’t look like they cleaned much. I saw someone sweeping the floor once but only in a small area. Because of this I would have second thoughts going there which is too bad because I liked the place. Even the area where you make your coffee was not clean at all.

Las vetas is my favorite coffee shop in fairfield. Ive been going there for 7 years now, and the atmosphere is still as cozy. It has character, the staff is very nice, and the drinks are actually fun if you take time to go over their menu. Next time you have 15 – 30 min, go grab a drink!

It is a rare thing in today’s age where a coffee shop feels unique. The mediocrity that is Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts often leaves me feeling like Ronald McDonald probably does now. I found this place, and well, wow. What a difference a little(actually a lot) of character makes. They have a great selection of tea, tons of character, friendly staff, and good music(none of that junk on mainstream radio). Great place to study, has free WiFi, comfy chairs. I mean, you really can’t ask for anything more from a coffee shop than this.

I am a writer and I do my writing almost exclusively in coffee shops around the world. I have a simply formula — a great atmosphere, friendly service, good food/coffee and wifi. Las Vetas ticks all these boxes, plus its quirky feel, relaxed, no fuss approach makes it a great place to work, relax or just grab a coffee. The coffee is amongst the best in town.

Great atmosphere and the staff was well attentive. I walked in cause I usually don’t like Starbucks due to it’s high advertisement and crowded environment, especially when I would like to sit down to have cup of coffee and work, but Las Vetas brings in the right type of crowd and allows a peaceful serenity. Music is at a reasonable volume and had some great collections as well. I ordered an Iced Mocha Latte and it was simply delicious!(usually it’s hard to find a place to make a Iced mocha latte that’s tasteful, too much mocha or too much milk) but Las Vetas has got my vote! Definitely recommend it

Tasty drip coffee, if you are staying, you can opt for a ceramic mug, a nice comfortable, homey feel. Staff seemed friendly. It’s a nice place to read a book or work. Probably a bit livelier at night. Noticed A/V equip stashed, most likely for music events. Not quite as quirky as The Space in Hamden, but a similar eclectic feel, slightly more polished.

My favorite café in Fairfield. Nice intimate atmosphere, cozy seating available, as well as tables for groups or working. And good coffee. The food is good too, simple sandwiches and good soup. Favorite drinks are the Red Eye Chai, the Turtle and the Trouble Maker.

Happened upon this originally decorated little joint on a Sunday morning when we dropped off a rental car at Hertz. We will definitely bookmark it as a favorite! They customized an grilled cheese sandwich, had super fresh tasting orange juice, great coffee in home style mugs, and the warmest atmosphere! Thank you!

I used to LOVE this place in it’s former location and even when it first moved. But the last few times I’ve been here, It was hard to order over the eye rolling and snarky attude of the high schooler behind the counter. The coffee and food is awesome if you can past the attitude.(I plan on giving it another shot– that’s how good it is).

Best coffee shop in Fairfield. I’ve been meaning to try it for awhile so I stopped in yesterday with my young daughters and ordered an americano. It was made PERFECTLY. The girl who took my order was pleasant and the gentleman(probably the owner) who made it offered and was happy to put the cream and sugar in for me as I guess I obviously had my hands full. Cute little collection of candy by the counter so my daughters got some M&Ms, everyone was happy, and we were on our way. Will definitely be back. As I’m reading many other reviews I notice there are a lot of people complaining that they were reprimanded for bringing in outside drinks or posting up at a table without buying anything. Hello– It’s called common sense and manners? You want to read for a few hours or type an email but don’t plan to buy anything– the public library is across the street. This is a privately owned coffee shop trying to make a living. I have a friend who owns a coffee shop in MA and has the same problem with loiterers/non paying customers. It makes me furious for her. No it’s not cool to totally lose it and curse people out but I work in the hospitality industry and I understand how tough it can be to constantly bite your tongue when people show zero common sense/manners or consideration for small business owners. Personally I love this place and will definitely be back.

amazing coffee shop in town! right by the fairfield train station too. just walking distance. I prefer going here as oppose to the chain places. They can cater to your taste better and has many selections of coffee and tea! They also offer quick bites and desserts. Has about 20 seats inside. Nice day to stop by to catch up with a friend over coffee. Really like the ambience too. Very friendly and quite hipe. Their coconut mocha is my fave. A bit on the sweet side but yummy!

Great ambiance for locals. Lots of small business deals and hushed meetings go on day. Very limited food menu, but the coffee is excellent. People watch all day!

Very cute café shop. It has a casual feel with miss-matched table and chair setting which I enjoy very much. A bunch of people were posted up on laptops when we were there, so I am not sure if they offer free wi-fi? They had a great menu of cafes and espressos as well as some smoothies/juices should you be looking for that. A good selection of sweets as well. There is a large TV in the main dining room and plenty of seating and a handful on the sidewalk outside.

A real unique experience. A great place to meet friends have something off the menu or listen to live music on selected nights. My husband and I love the friendly atmosphere and the pleasant service from the girls behind the counter. My favorite menu items include Grilled Cheese and the nicest toasted scones. If you are in the area give it a try.

The closest you’re gonna get to a NoCal hippy coffee shop(oooh, I’m dreaming of being in Fairfax or Mill Valley…) :-( Anyway, it’s cute, it’s funky, it’s always full of people and they even offer some good dining options — breakfast choices are extensive and very reasonably priced. Recommend and wish more funky coffee shops opened around the state of Connecticut. The only other one I can think of is the place in downtown Bethel.
