I had been traveling out of town to get my craft beer fix, and then I discovered Luigi’s. Great selection of brews and a very knowledgeable and friendly proprietor, David. Get a couple of FREE samples and decide on your favorite. Once David starts to learn more about what you like, he will make suggestions if you like that sort of thing. On the Deli side, I’ve eaten there several times and they did not dissapoint.

Decent. Nothing to come back to though. The girl in the front was rude. I asked her about a particular sandwhich and I’m almost certain she was a little«smart» with me. Probably will not return.

I don’t know where to start! The atmosphere is awesome, the selection of sodas is amazing and the nitro beers on tap are unparalleled. The Cheese Zombies are perfect to snack on along side a beer, and the garlic fries are the best I’ve had, period. I’m not a taco man, but the poyo tacos rye IPA brazed chicken are absolutely delicious. On top of all that, the staff make you feel like family. It’s the perfect place to kick it with friends, or enjoy a beer while watching a game.

Stay away from this place. First of, the bathroom was disgusting. There was the foulest smell in the ladies room. That really put me off my food — couldn’t help but think of how clean their kitchen was. The guy who prepared our sandwiches was very nice. But the sandwiches did not taste good ATALL! Very bland and not very nice ingredients. My husbands sandwich was ok but it was a weird assortment of flavors together. Atmosphere — fail again. Offensive posters on the wall. Too cold.

Unimpressed with the speed of service during a lunch rush and the place could benefit from some more indoor seating space, but I’ll be damned if they don’t make a surprisingly tasty gyro here. You should absolutely stop in, but not if you’re in a hurry.

For me I think this place is as good as it gets… This place is not obnoxiously loud like other craft beer establishments… and you don’t pay an arm and leg for a beer either. Craft beer and good food at a decent price what more could you ask for. The bartender is great and knows what I like… 5 stars!

DUDETHISPLACEISBOMB!!! Ive been searching for a great place to get away, have a few good beers, watch some baseball, and eat really good food. This place has it all. I don’t write many reviews and when I do, it’s because the placed sucked or the place was very good. I called in a phone order, dropped in and had a cold Lagunitas IPA while I waited for my fries to finish. Great environment, great menu, and great staff; very easy to talk to and down to earth. I STRONGLYSUGGESTYOUGIVETHISPLACE A TRY!!!

Awesome joint to sit and hang out and get some grubs and brew. The rotating taps always have a great selection. Sandwiches are huge and always good but the other selections could use some revamping. During peak hours service can be really slow.

Sandwiches and craft beer. My home. My love. I got whatever the ruben is and my man got the buffalo chicken sandwich. They were both delicious. Might be back!(I only say«might» because we never really go to the same place twice, but I would!)

Minus one star bc set up is not for parties or groups. It’s small and limited seating. Even if they have a front and back patio. So my family of seven was split up on 3 tables and not very kid friendly. More of a bar type place. It’s pricy for the sandwich sizes but they are really good and good portions size. Hummus and fresh fried pita chips were good too. Didn’t care for jalapeño poppers. Definitely will do to-go for now on.

The sandwiches are okay not great. We didn’t dine in, but the location looked nice. I’m annoyed when sandwiches are hard to eat. The bread they used reminded me of a bagel, but in sandwich roll form… definitely not easy to eat.

HEADSUP — WARNING to PROSPECTIVECUSTOMERS… Would not accept Unilocal $ 20 voucher(for $ 15) unless you print it out. Hello!?! people don’t carry around printers with them… electronic aceptance is NOW. Also… SAVE the PLANET and A TREE!!! Super, Super SLOW service during lunch, resturant was only moderately busy. HELLO people have to get back to work in a resonable amount of time. We waited at least 25 minutes for a salad and sandwich. Will NOT be returning ever again, yes that means NEVER!

Once I read the menu, I was really excited to try this place. I was not impressed. I love almost any fries, especially garlic fries. These were greasy and soggy. Didn’t eat more than the first bite. I ordered a soda, but they were out of diet coke at the fountain, but they didn’t really have any other options for low calorie(zero). The sandwiches were filled high with meat and my table ordered 4, 3 different kinds(all premium). They were just o.k. Nothing was really stand out. For 4 people we spent $ 60 for lunch and didn’t enjoy anything enough to come back or even recommend. Service was less than average. Everthing was just meh. Additionally, there were nats everywhere. My husband used the restroom and commented that it was gross with a sticky floor.

Since when did this place sell beer on tap?! This local business and I go WAY back when they first opened next door to my first teaching job. Ever since then, I’ve been a loyal customer when I find myself craving for a local sandwich in Downtown Fairfield. Location: It’s the first thing you find after you pass the Fairfield Court Building on Texas St. As long as you find Miracle Math Coaching or Truffle Berries next door, you know you’re definitely in the right place! Parking can be found at the rear of the store or on the street! It helps to remember that there’s also a Starbucks right across the street! Ambiance: Luigi’s Deli & Draft is what I call a hole-in-wall type of sandwich store. The vibes are super casual and laid back, and if you’re lucky, they have some evenings when a live performer performs some music. On the other hand, there’s plenty of seating, and you can order your goodies at the front of the register. Food/Drafts: The last time I was here, my go-to sandwich is the«California Dreamin’.» It’s a cold ham sandwich with some avocado and some other goodies I kind of forgot. On the other hand, DOTRY the garlic fries! They’re a perfect substitution for your garlic fries cravings when you can’t hit up the carnival or a baseball game. Also, try their cheese curds!!! The cheese curds are bite sized mozzerella sticks and tastes best with the ranch! Nevertheless, they have some great local beer on tap and decent food, so you can never go wrong with what you order on the menu. Customer Service: I always love the customer service here! Every time I go there to order some goodies, they always greet me with a smile on their faces and do their best to make other customers happy. I can’t say anything bad about their service because it’s always consistent every time I go there. Overall: This is my go to place for some local sandwiches. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who happens to stop by Downtown Fairfield and crave for a sandwich.

I was returning from work and craving something different besides the default pizza slice, greasy burrito, or hole-in-the-wall Chinese… So, a spin of the wheel which was also influenced by Luigi’s solid 4 ½ star rating and here I was. Store front — Truth be told, parking was a bit tight and I almost passed on Luigi’s… However, I was able to find a spot just around the corner. It was a long day, I was tired, hot, hungry and wasn’t in the mood to circle the block just to find a park space… 4 ½ stars or not, it’s just a sandwich. Now, if a ham on rye came w/a lap dance THEN I’d have no qualms parking seven blocks away and sprinting back to the shop. I’m just kidding, me, run… I’d call Über. Arrived about 4pm on a late Thursday afternoon and Luigi’s had only three other patrons, a couple ordering a to-go order and one of the regulars was sitting @ the bar… ‘Perfect, not too crowded. The interior of the shop isn’t fancy-shmancy, relatively simple, functional, as well as down-to-earth and inviting. I spoke w/brothers Pierre and David, who both highly recommended the California Dreaming(No. 12 — cold sandwich), and the Life of Tri(No. 24 — hot sandwich). I finally decided on the Life of Tri, always looking for a good trip-tip sandwich… ‘And it was. My order: No. 24 — Life of Tri($ 7.99) *Hot sandwich Ciabatta, garlic aioli, tri-tip, provoloen, roasted red bell peppers, deli dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion Great sandwich; flavorful; good portions — can easily feed two Photo — Jalapéno poppers — 6 piece($ 3.99) «Eh…»; not as spicy as I anticipated; just alright; passable Photo — Rootbeer soda — large($ 2.50) I finished the jalapéno poppers and ate half of the tri-tip sandwich. It two people wanted to share the«Life of Tri,» it can easily feed the both of them. I briefly thought about eating the other half, not wanting to be bothered w/a to-go bag… However, I still had to make the walk back to the car, not to mention the drive back to the house. Highly recommended:(On my to-try list) No. 12 — California Dreaming($ 7.49) *Cold sandwich Ciabatta, mayo, ranch, turkey, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and red onion Luigi’s also offers«Specialty Burgers» that is only on their dinner menu, 5pm til closing. There are 12 different burgers to choose from ranging in price form $ 9 — $ 12. Below are a few that look quite tempting: — Hawaiian Hottie($ 9): Teriyaki sauce, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, pineapple, jalapéno — Everhart($ 9): Bacon, avocado, monterey jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions — Pompeii($ 9): Chipotle sauce, pepper jack cheese, pepperoncini, tomatoes, grilled onions, jalapéno poppers, sriracha — Plan C($ 10): Egg, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, sriracha ketchup, hashbrowns — The Doc Holiday($ 10): BBQ sauce, onion rings, bacon, chipotle mayo, smoke gouda, pulled pork, cole slaw — Triple By Pass($ 12): All beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon, chicken tenders, pepper jack cheese, all beef patty, swiss cheese, onion rings, bbq sauce, sriracha ketchup Luigi’s is a great local find. The quality of sandwich along with their creative menu options are right on point. The customer service was equally good. Definitely a place to make note of! I’m sure I’ll be back here sometime soon. — Big Aloha! Food: 4(The jalapéno poppers were just«alright,» passable.) Ambiance: 3 Service: 4+ Value: 5

I got the wrap it up, turkey, cheese, lettuce and avocado and a small side of the garlic fries because they received rave reviews. The wrap is enough for 2 people easily! The garlic fries reviews are correct, super yummy. Huge wrap, fries and a drink = $ 9.48!

The Bf and I come here every now and then. This is one of our favorite sandwich places. We’ve tried just about everything on the menu and made up a few on our own. Whatever you order here, you won’t be disappointed. Must add bacon and must try their garlic penne! –They have a stamp card leading up to your free sandwich(up to 6.99) –Free fountain drink with Unilocal check in(might change) –Place and get super busy during lunch and a small slight chance you might not find a place to sit –Variety of sodas –They take orders off an app called«leapset»
