Truffle Berries Sweet Shop

I stop by often for cookies and treats because it’s right by my office. I have also ordered a salad and veggie pita which were good and reasonably priced. Today I got a bacon grilled cheese. Overall the sandwich is good, but I asked for light lettuce and mayo, and was surprised there was an upcharge for the lettuce… which was only one piece because I said «light». On top of that, the mayo was so light I didn’t taste it, or possibly there just wasn’t any?! It was just too expensive for what I got ($ 9.23).
I also wanted to order the soup of the day, but it was not ready. They don’t open until 11, which is the beginning of the lunch ‘rush’, so I was disappointed it wasn’t ready.
With the number of restaurants in the area, I will stick to the excellent cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, eclairs, and other sweet treats from Truffle Berries, but go elsewhere for meals.
I do have to say, the staff is always friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Well, while I don’t go in too often, when I do, I usually spend $ 40 to $ 60 bringing back treats for friends and co-​workers. Today I called to order 15 PMS cookies for tomorrow as a special treat for my radiation nurses, as tomorrow is my last treatment. I understand that you don’t open until 11, but someone is there quite early, and I just wanted to pick them up on my way to the hospital at 9:30. Nope… not even an option. Not even if I paid for them in advance on my credit card. Seems to me that a little flexibility would be good customer service. I recommend Truffleberries to new customers all the time. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be back.

I called to see if they had Cheesecake Strawberry’s at 3:30 today. They had sold out of them. I mentioned that my daughter loved them and it was her Birthday. They offered to make more and had them ready for me to pickup at 5:30. Thank you so much for making my daughters day special

The cupcakes are to die for… great selection /​variety of flavors. coffee bar area beautifully done, very inviting atmosphere. love the fact that they serve lunch items at such a good price also. Friendly staff… it’s all good here

I give this place a one star because the cupcakes taste very generic/​store bought. The frosting tasted as if I came from the store. I also had the cheesecake strawberry and it was ok but I wasn’t impressed. But they do have great customer service and they give military discount!

Truffle Berries PMS cookie is hands-​down, the best cookie, I have ever had, in my life!!! I come here all the time and get cookies for different occasions. People are always so amazed, when they first look at the cookie potato chips. Once they’ve tasted them, OMG!
AND.its owned by a woman! Extra kiddos! Beautiful, quaint little spot to stop in and have a cup of coffee or tea!

The PMS cookie is all that and so is the 707 cookie. I often ask for a glass of milk cause the cookies are so amazing.

Such an awesome little shop! You would think by the name that all they do is sweets, but they have a full kitchen and the food is amazing as well. Always greeted with a hello when you walk in from one of the staff. Sweet little place, love going here and bringing back treats for co-​workers. Highly recommended!!!

It all started with those darn PMS cookies! ;-) I’ve been coming to this place since it was much smaller (recently expanded to include the place next door I believe) and I have to say the addition is very fitting. Flows well between its little bar and bakery area, I do hope they decide to expand the sweets though. I love all they have to offer and have yet to try their actual breakfast and lunch menu, but can’t wait! My personal favs: both PMS cookies and the Cheesecake covered Strawberry is SO TASTY! I’m a sucker for these… Love the environment and staff as well!

Ahhh… Truffle Berries Sweet Shop brings me back to those days of overindulging myself with chocolate covered cheesecake strawberries and PMS cookies. Now that this cute little store got a major face-​lift, this place has way more to offer than before!
Location:
Truffle Berries is right along downtown Fairfield right across the street from the Texas St. Starbucks around the corner. Parallel parking can be a pain in the butt since most of the traffic happens down there. However, be aware that one weekdays there are a few parking spots that offer both two hour and 20 – 30 minutes of parking.
Interior and Ambiance:
The shop is super adorable and super sweet. Since they reconstructed the place I really love how it has a country hint of barnyard style while offering some cute little heart shaped chairs. There’s a section for choosing your sweets as well as a section for ordering a latte or tea at the dessert bar. It’s silent over there, but I kind of wished they play a little bit of soft music or something so I don’t awkwardly hear myself chewing out loud.
Customer Service:
I don’t think I’ve ever receive any bad service from them. Every time I come here, the service is always consistent and very personal. The cashiers really do take the time to know you, and if you’re a frequent customer, they will take real good care of you. Plus, the owner Wendy is very passionate at what she does!
Food:
The chocolate covered strawberries and the PMS cookies are a MUST TRY! I feel like those are their biggest strengths as well as the caramel apples. The cupcakes are okay, but do settle for the cookies, the strawberries and apples. Also, if you’re lucky, do try their eclairs! Recently, they updated their menu so now they will also be serving lunch as well!
Overall:
I don’t think I can ever get tired of this store. I still have yet to try out their lunch, and I’m definitely going to make that a goal before it reaches 2016.

Expertly crafted cupcakes with unique tastes. I’ve yet to regret a choice and I’ve visited this place several times over the last year. Price is in-​line with any other artisan cupcake bakery and cupcakes are fairly big. They seem to have an espresso bar that I have never tried. I love espresso so maybe I should one of these days.

I’m torn to write this because I love love love the cookies and eclairs here! But today I came in for lunch and honestly I would have to say never again. The service was great they were prompt. But the food :-(was not up to par at all. I ordered the chicken pita which was explained to me kind of like a gyro, it was on pita with a taziki sauce and fresh veggies. The pita bread was honestly the best part. The chicken had absolutely no flavor for being on a Greek inspired dish. The taziki sauce also had no flavor what so ever– you couldn’t tell if dill or garlic were even present in it… I was really bummed because I had just raved to my friend about how great the breakfast was … Then we came for lunch and both had very blan meals. I love this place I hope the cook can figure out a few flavorful lunch items to keep on the menu.

Came by this place shortly before closing time. The ladies working here were incredibly nice and helpful. There didn’t seem to be any champagne cupcakes left (I thought this was their signature cupcake) so they made me one! I got a few different cupcakes and the Reese’s peanut butter cup one was my favorite. The cupcakes are a reasonable $ 2.50 each and I think the credit card minimum is $ 5

The PMS Cookie, a great combination of salty sweet. It the combination of caramel, toffee, chocolate and potato chip built into this one of a kind cookie provides a sweet and salty take like no other. Savor the taste of this high calorie treat, have a seat and enjoy some coffee. It’s easy to hammer a dozen of these because of the its richness.
Cupcakes are great here too. All kinds of sugary goodness. Don’t come here too often otherwise you’ll put on lbs.

When you first walk in, it has a really nice feel to the place. Dark wood colors with a coffee bar. Lots of places to sit. It feels very much like a tea house.
But it’d not. It’s just a really nice pasty and coffee shop.

I recently moved 3 hrs away and I was devastated because I wasn’t going to get my PMS cookie fix when ever I was craving them, so it’s a must for me to stop by whenever I’m in town.

Wow so much for watching how many sweets I eat. I heard about this place randomly from someone at jiffy lube and looked it up on Unilocal.Why have I never heard of this place and I live just down the street?!!
It’s probably a good thing I didn’t know before!
The owner is super sweet and friendly. The place is cute with a warm welcoming atmosphere!
If you haven’t checked this place out yet you’ve got to, because you’re definitely missing out!

The PMS cookie and the strawberry dipped in cheesecake, dipped in chocolate are heaven sent. My tastebuds were dancing in excitement after trying both of these creations! I wish this cute, little shop was a lot closer to me, but I do foresee myself making orders and making the trip up to have more.
The interior of this place is adorable and service is just wonderful. There is a $ 5 minimum if you want to pay with card, just so you know. And there is free street parking right in front!

I work right next to this cute, small shop in Downtown Fairfield. Oh! All the calories! It’s totally worth it though, because never was I disappointed with this place since the day it opened. Mouth-​watering sweets topped with an awesome customer service.
It’s like I’m greeting and talking to a friend every time I walk in the door. I love all their sweets and I suggest you try a PMS cookie when you visit. It’s sweet, it’s salty, it’s chewy and made just right. They sometimes serve bread and soup too. Try their broccoli cheddar and chicken w/​rice. YUM!
They’ve recently remodeled and expanded their place. Great for parties or gatherings! I definitely recommend this place for any one with a sweet tooth or just craving a dessert. As for me, I can’t wait to go visit the next time I have work.
