Lyna’s Salon and Nail Spa

These five stars are for Christina!!! Lyna’s is a full service salon and nail spa and while I wasn’t there for anything other than a mani/​pedi, I did observe a girl getting color and it came out beautiful! The salon was comfortable with nice vibes and good music. I’m so incredibly satisfied with my services, and Christina was very thorough, gentle, and a fun person to talk to. I am going on vacation and wanted to have something pretty since I can’t have any type of nails or length at my job, so this was a most exciting treat. If you want quality, professional, and hygienic work, check her out!!! I would suggest an appointment as they get quite busy. I called early and was able to get squeezed in… I’m so glad because I love my hands and feet. I got a great compliment from a girl at the grocery checkout for how feminine my nails looked… Thanks so much Christina, I will definitely be back!!!

Jamie did an amazing job for my prom nails! She took her time and made sure, everything was perfect and was how i wanted it. Loved it, definitely will be going back!

If there’s a 100 stars, I would give it to Ms. Jaime for doing all that I requested for my meticulous nail design!!! She was so patient with me and didn’t stop till I was satisfied with my nails!!! Will definitely go back to Jaime for another awesome design!

First time here and I loved it. Christina did an amazing job. She really took her time with my fill and my nails look amazing. She’s also very personable and won’t make you feel awkward. I will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for an amazing nail artist who takes her time and is passionate about what she does, come here and ask for Christina. By far the best nail lady I’ve ever had.

Got an acrylic fill with gel polish with Janine and she did such an awesome job. Showed her a pic of what I wanted (saw a pic someone posted from a yr ago of an ombrè design) and she nailed it! Nails came out way better than the last place I went to! I have gotten so many compliments on them too since I had them done. Love them! Thanks Janine!!! I’ll be back for sure :)

I absolutely love this salon! I have been Lyna’s client for the past 4 years and will NEVER go to anyone but her. She is so amazing and second to none in my opinion. The atmosphere is very relaxing and one can just let their hair down (literally) the moment they walk through. I wish I could give her 10 stars because she deserves it!

Listen to my voice. If you were a loyal customer of the lovely nail whisperer Lisa M., she is no longer working there. I repeat, the infamous Lisa Moreno does not work at Lyna’s Salon and Nail Spa anymore. She’s moved to Chelsea’s Nails at Vacaville, CA or at least that’s what I heard from Lyna herself.
However, it’s kind of crazy how I’ve been doing business with Lyna for over three years now! Time flew by real fast and her business is blossoming out to the Solano County more than ever!
Location:
Lyna’s Salon and Nail Spa is right along Clay Bank Rd. inside the Horizon Dr. plaza. If you found a Straw Hat Pizza plus a Cabalen Filipino Cuisine within that area, you know you’re in the right spot! Since her store is buried in a corner, I don’t think it should be difficult to find! Parking over there is free and takes place in a private lot. Since not a lot of people swing by this plaza often, there shouldn’t be any problems finding any vacant parking spots.
Ambiance:
I love the friendly environment. However, there were some new ladies working there that gave me the stink eye… I guess I’ll give them time to warm-​up to me. Nevertheless, I always love going inside the clean environment to get all beautifications done.
Services:
Lyna’s Salon and Nail Spa offers hair, nails, and waxing services. Their price ranges lies between the $ 10 and up zone depending on what you plan on getting done that day. Although appointment is recommended through her salon, you can always do a walk-​in that’s only if you’re ever lucky!
Customer Service:
I’ve always been Lyna’s loyal customer. She often does my hair and sometimes perform waxing services. Usually my waxing lady is Stephanie but both of them are just as equally great! Also, there are some new nail technicians and hairstylists on board now! I haven’t looked into their works of art, but I’m pretty sure Lyna is going to post some of their beauty masterpieces eventually. ;)
Overall:
I recommend this place to anyone! If you’re a cheapo, then this ain’t the place for you. If you like something decent with reasonable prices, then I recommend you swing on by and give the ladies here a try!

I’ve gone to this salon three times and Chipi is awesome! I’ve been wanting my hair to be ombré pink for years and finally decided to do it. She was great and even dyed it for me again no cost when I felt that the pink wasn’t as vibrant as I wanted. Chipi listens to you and is able to give suggestions and listens to what you need. Chipi also did my nails as well, I even got 50 percent off my nails because she is an intern nail tech. She showed me some cool nail polish with temperature changing nail polish that I loved! The gel lasted 4 weeks! I’m in love with my hair the first time when I got the pink done it only lasted a few weeks because it was a more pastel color, but the second time my hair still has the pink in and is taking much longer for the color to wash out. Come to this salon it is clean and everyone is very friendly and Chipi did a great job on my nails and hair.

My boyfriend and I were in desperate need of haircuts but we both have hectic work schedules so it’s difficult to find the time to do it. We called some other local salons and were unable to schedule walk-​ins but Lyna’s was able to fit us both in within the hour. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Chipi did an amazing job cutting/​styling my hair and LaSandra was able to give my boyfriend a cut that he was actually happy with (he’s really picky about his hair). We will definitely be back!

Came in on the 16^th of October. It was my first time here and was looking for a quality salon near my home. The salon seemed nice and well kept. I received a pedicure and a gel manicure. The women who took care of me was very sweet and attentive and did a good job. But two days later 3 of my nails had chipped pretty badly so return to the salon. I showed one of the ladies there my nails. She said she wasn’t able to help me because she is a «renter». Huh? According to her she rents a booth but doesn’t work for the owner. Then she tells me that everyone else is busy and booked up. I looked in surprise since there wasn’t one customer in there (and no one came in when they did decided to do my repair)
I asked for a refund and Told her I will go somewhere else to have them fixed but not paying 50 $ in two days for a gel manicure. She responded with «write down your number and I will have the owner call you or you can wait a couple of hours for her to return» she wasn’t authorized to give refunds. I asked her if she could call the owner because I am not coming back to collect a refund and need my nails fixed. Then all of a sudden there was a space free by someone who didn’t rent. Great!!! So my nail were repainted by someone else .
So here I am on day 5 and my nails look terrible ! The paint is chipping off and now I have to go and pay another 25 – 30 $ for a second gel manicure in a one week period. I thought maybe it was something the nail tech was doing but now I know it’s the product ! I will never return here again. Very unprofessional and lacks customer service. On top of it all one of the nail techs kept dropping the F word over and over about the flies. Couldn’t even enjoy my pedicure.

The nail salon I go to was close for a month. So i went here and got gel nails. The next day two of my nails chip. It was a waste of money. The nail technician file my nails too thin and it was burning. I had my nails done before and never felt this bad when my nails were being file. My finger nail tip was sore. I don’t recommend anyone to go there.

I just moved to the area and really didn’t want to drive back to Napa (my hometown) to go to the same place I had been going. Not only did this salon show up first, but one of my Beauty School instructors wrote an amazing review and KNEW that this was the place to come! I was lucky enough to get Miss Marie who did EXACTLY what I wanted and in a reasonable amount of time! Being a licensed cosmetologist I am SUPER anal and know what I am supposed to be getting! Seriously in love with my nails and will definitely be coming back. Already booked my next appt with Miss Marie!

Lisa is the best nail tech I have ever been too. Not only does she do gorgeous work but the foundation and application of her acrylics are amazing! I use to wear really long nails and would slam them into everything on accident. Other salons the tip would crack off. With Lisa’s nail application I haven’t lost a nail or had one break in the past 4 months I’ve been going to her. She uses only Swarovski crystals so none of that cheap looking plastic studs. You get real bling that shines everywhere, and she’s a totally joy to be around. Every time I go in I’m laughing and leaving extremely happy. Lisa is not only an amazing nail tech but also an amazing person. Btw in the pic these are my NATURAL nails with vetro gel polish on top. The past couple of weeks Lisa has been saving the length underneath my acrylics, so we soaked them off and this set I’m wearing are my natural nails

Today was my first time going here and I have to say this is the best nail salon that I have ever been to. Ask for Janine she is an amazing nail technician and she really puts 110% into her job. My nails turned out perfect for my eighth grade promotion and I am definitely going back. Unlike nail salons that I have been to before people here actually talk to you and they make sure your nails are perfect. The people here are so friendly and it is great for kids as well. It is only five dollars more for a full acrylic set with white tips than the salon that I usually go to but it was totally worth it in the end. So if you’re looking for a good salon you should definitely come here.

This review is not based on the skill of the the nail technician. But how they scheduled appointment. I came in a small group after making a appointment the week before and confirmed the time. The day I was scheduled to come in they told me I was an hour early and I told them I had confirmed with them already and I made it clear I could not do a later time. Looks like I won’t find out exactly how good they are.

I have to give this place 5 stars because I am so happy!!! Being a cosmetologist myself I am extremely picky with my nails. I waited 2 years to get them done again because I just couldn’t find the right place. I found this place by researching on Unilocal and I drive from Napa to come see Marie. She is incredible with my nails and great with my children. The entire shop of ladies always makes me feel welcome and happy. Everyone there is nice to my kids and so welcoming. My nails look fabulous!!! And she is so fast! I’ve never had a nail break off or any issues. Marie can do anything you like. I just show her a picture and she makes it look exactly how I want it. I recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work done fast with good company.

This was my 1^st nail shop I tried in Fairfield. Lisa did my nails OMG she is THEE VERY BEST. she has GREAT energy makes you feel comfortable, explains to you what she’s doing, and why she’s applying certain products to your nails. Her recommendations are so on point, she’s not $$ hungry, and she really enjoy doing nails. She’s out this world with her nail art, and the visions she see with different colors and designs OMG LUV IT!.. I went there ready to get my usual white tips and she was like uuumm no honey we past that. Lol thats when i knew she was my new Nail Tech. She has great customer service and i really appericate the time she took to do my nails the way i wanted them. I told Lisa we are married now. She’s stuck with me now.
If you havent tried this nail shop this is the place to come. Just remember Lisa has a VERY TIGHT schedule so call to get on her wait list. You will not be disappointed!
