Decent food for Trumbull, CT. Last time I went here was on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. My friend and I order meals and one glass of wine. Everything was fine, but I could have done with five less check ins. During the time we were there, we must have been asked 10 times how everything was, while I appreciate the attention, they needed to tone it down a little bit.

Has declined in recent years, attracts a very sketchy crowd. Needs a facelift and better staff

O Bar won me over with fantastic bartenders(by the way, the bartender nastily referenced in some of the other reviews appears to have been canned) — warm and friendly, great at remembering favorite drinks from past visits, and talented at mixing special drinks, including the martinis on the menu and various original shots unlisted. Great atmosphere whether it’s relaxing during the week or clubby(with great DJ!) on a weekend night.

bartenders need a lesson in making a drink. It was ok if you stick with beer

Met a friend here for a drink a few weeks ago on a Monday night. The place was damn-near empty. Luckily, the bartenders breasts did their level best to occupy as much space as possible, spilling valiantly out of her T-shirt. She was a petite girl, but the T-shirt looked like a child or maybe a toddler size. The only thing detracting from the effect of a full-front assault by D-cups was the a) make-up – even in low lighting, I got the impression her make-up person has a full-time gig doing drag shows or funeral parlors; and b) the fake tan. Come on ladies. Malibu Barbie has been out of production for forty years. Also the bartender did a bit of a hard sell on the refills. She asked about every 10 seconds if we were okay, needed another drink, needed another drink, could she possibly refill our glasses for another drink. My friend paid and I don’t know if her obnoxious persistence was rewarded in the form of a tip. At the other end of the bar, three gentlemen of a certain age seemed to think Barbie was da bomb. Small place. Neighborhoody in the way that neighborhoody places are when everyone else in the joint knows you’re not from the neighborhood.

Probably the most popular bar in Fairfield right now, it’s been around for years. The crowd is pretty lively most nights Wednesday through Saturday. Bartenders are nice. The place is tiny, there isn’t much to it and sometimes when it is crowded, it’s a hassle. It’s also the type of crowd where you feel that most people know each other, which I would call a townie bar.

A great local bar with a great atmosphere. Bartenders are a lot of fun, and have always had a great experience. Cozy area with good crowd of kids. Definitely worth going too. Don’t remember walking out of there one night… bartenders did the job right. :) Cheers!

I go to a bar for three things: drinks, atmosphere, and(often) food. The drinks are nicely done, and the bartenders know their thing, so asking for recommendations always yields good results. Feel free to experiment with cocktails or wine. Except for late on a Thurs/Fri/Sat evening, when it can be a bit of a scene, the atmosphere is casual and you can generally find a seat somewhere. The bar is attached to St Tropez(a Corsican bistro). So if you get a little hungry, you can order bar food prepared by the restaurant, or order from the restaurant menu. The fries are amazing.
