After years of disappointments at the big eyeglass chains, I asked my optometrist for a store recommendation and she suggested Optical Alternatives. I could not be more satisfied with this business. I received very helpful opinions on the frame selection. They offer very unusual and on trend frames that you won’t see on everyone on the street. A couple of weeks after having a rough adjustment to my new progressive prescription lenses, I stopped by the store. Dorothy checked my vision and determined that I needed a tweak on my distance part of my lenses. I returned to the eye dr and got the new script. Optical Alternatives replaced the lenses at no additional cost! The service here is personal and top notch. Both Glenn and Dorothy are licensed Opticians so you won’t be fitted for glasses by a novice. I highly recommend this business store for all your eyeglass needs.

This shop absolutely has the best eyeglass selection around and Glenn was a pleasure to work with. They are not inexpensive, but for something I’m going to wear on my face everyday, I’m happy to pay for the the right pair. I highly recommend Optical Alternatives.

This is the best place to get glasses. I wear a small frame and their selection was fantastic. They took a lot of time and patience with me during the selection process. The turn around from purchase to pick up was fast. They felt right from the minute I tried my new glasses on!

I came across this optical shop from one of their LivingSocial promotions they ran, and I am very glad I came across this nice little shop. The frames they have available are stylish and diverse, so there is definitely a frame for everyone in this shop. Most all frames I came across ran me at least $ 200, so if you’re looking for a discount eyewear store go to Walmart or JC Penny. The price you pay for the frames are really worth every penny though, especially if you are a daily glasses wearer like myself.
Something that I found very unique about this shop is that they cut their own lenses right in the shop. Their turnaround from first visit to having your glasses on your face could be as little as one day, which is pretty amazing compared to the Pearle Visions or Lens Crafters that send them away and take a week or more.
Overall, very satisfied. Customer service was good, staff is friendly, I’d definitely go back for my next pair of glasses.
