I came in for my best friends birthday dinner and was able to get seated right away. Bomb helped us out and he really made our night! He was entertaining and was prompt in bringing out our food. He even brought out a complimentary dessert and had the whole restaurant sing happy birthday to my friend! The food was so tasty! We got the tamarind wings which were awesome! The sweet chili chicken was also sooo good! Overall: The food… excellent! The service… excellent! The ambiance… excellent! We ll be back!

Pretty good food. I enjoyed the grilled chicken dish a lot. The dish did not come with rice which I thought was weird(just meat and veggie) so I paid extra for sticky rice. The rice def was not worth the extra 3 bucks(very bland tasting). I had the Thai iced tea and it was delicious(they didn’t fill my cup all the way though). Disappointed they didn’t offer military discount 7 days a week especially since we serve our country seven days a week.

Great Thai restaurant, friendly service. Loved the papaya salad and chicken pad see ew. The pad Thai was sweeter than I’ve ever had it so I wasn’t crazy about that. Clean restrooms, would definitely eat here again if I was ever in the area.

It was pretty full on a Friday night at 8pm. I had the BBQ Pork. It was delicious and the portion was generous. I also tried the pumpkin curry, which is marked as spicy. I’m a spice wuss and I knew after one bite that that was all I could handle. Service was friendly and polite. Bonus: Free mango iced tea with check in on Unilocal

I made dinner reservations for the whole family right after my cousin’s graduation. Everyone was starving after a long day, and my family can sometimes be tough to deal with, yet the staff here remained friendly and accommodating. I’d actually give this place more than 5 stars if I could. A cute and cozy little place. The food was amaaaaaazing and I can’t emphasize that enough. My cousins and I ordered the Butterfly Pea Iced Tea for starters. The tea changed colors, from blue to red to purple, when lemon was added. Pretty cool! ***Note that they give out complementary Mango Black Iced Tea when you check in on Unilocal! For appetizers, we ordered Fried Calamari and Tamarind Wings. Then, we ordered two plates of each: Pad Thai(the usual), Pineapple Fried Rice, Seafood Sizzling Plate, Pad Ped Catfish, BBQ Beef, and Papaya Salad. All were so rich in flavor and tasted so fresh. We finished with plates of Fried Bananas with Coconut Ice Cream and Sweet Mango with Sticky Black Rice. They were not only delicious, but beautiful in presentation. Portion sizes were a good amount and prices for these dishes were average. However, what really stuck to me was the wonderful service. It’s not an easy task to serve a demanding party of 10 people. The guy that served us was very pleasant and able to joke around with the grandparents(they’re tough to please, believe me). Not to mention, the adults just love to add on to every order. Still, our server kept his chill. Everyone left the place full and happy. Saying that, I will definitely come back here again for the food and service. Oh! And the Butterfly Pea Iced Tea :)

I wish I could eat here every night! I have eaten here twice, and tried numerous dishes. The crispy duck is to die for. Pumpkin curry, green curry, and basil chicken are amazing. Pad Thai with prawns and or chicken is generous but I order it with extra sauce. I have tried both soups as well. The food is dialed in. Servers are busting ass to get everyone served. The ambience is rough around the edges, noisy, and not well ventilated.

I’ve had the worst case of allergies and was in the mood for soup. Ive had phở about 3 times this week and new I wanted Asian food but not phở. I decided to get the tom yum goong(spicy and sour lemongrass soup, mushrooms, shrimp and tomatoes) and I ordered the chicken pumpkin curry with brown rice just in case the soup wasn’t enough to hold me over. I was on my lunch break and knew time was scarce so I ordered to go and would eat everything in the office. When I picked up my order I was on Unilocal to check in and the gentlemen at the counter said that if I checked in I would get a free mango iced tea. I felt like I was winning already.!! So I checked and and he made my drink and rang me up for my two items. I paid less than $ 18 and I ordered a lunch plate and a side of soup. I took everything back to the office and had the soup first because I didn’t want it to get cold. It was still very hot when I opened it which was a good thing because I had about a 6 minute drive. The soup was delicious! It had all the flavors I was looking for. I was actually already full off the soup that I would eat the rest of my lunch later in the day. LATER in the day: the chicken pumpkin curry was perfect with the brown rice. However it was definitely SPICY!!! I wish I knew it would be this spicy I would’ve ordered it less spicy but I can’t complain about the taste be use the curry was really good. It had bell peppers in it as well as cut up chunks of pumpkin. Yummy!!! There was also a side salad which had some type of tangy dressing in it. Not bad. Overall, parking was good, service was great and the prices were not at all bad. I will come back to try more items on the menu. 4 stars.

Everything we ordered was tasty and delicious except for their drinks and sticky rice. Sticky rice was a bit dry and hard to chew. Iced tea and Thai Iced tea was bland, almost like drinking iced water. The service was fast. Servers was friendly and nice. The price is very reasonable. We ordered: Iced Tea Thai Iced Tea Hot Tea Fried Calamari Mu yang(chicken) Stick rice Yellow curry(chicken) Thai fried rice(beef) Pad thai(pork)

The wife and I decided to go on a little date. How could we go wrong with getting some Thai? We decided to try the same restaurant you usually go to… but the one across town. We found Palm Thai Bistro in Fairfield, the twin of Buddha Thai Bistro in Vacaville. I figured out the first word in each of the restaurant’s name equates to the atmosphere you will be dining in. So with«palm» you get the beach/dessert appeal. The restaurant is much wider than its twin! That was cool. Ample seating to the left, right, and middle. No fear of being in anybody’s personal bubble. We were promptly seated towards the front. For some reason, where we were sitting, it smelled liked wet dog??? I don’t know if it was from the kitchen or from the small group seated next to us. I pray it is the latter. They have easy menus to read and ordering was just as simple. Average wait time for food was just around 10mins. Not bad. I ordered my usual Pineapple Fried Rice. Always on pointl! Staff are friendly and easy going. I only ate half of my food and they happily boxed the rest to-go. A great dinner with the wife! I will definitely be coming back here to dine again! fin.

Fairlfield has a «new» player in town, his name is the Palm Thai Bistro!(Well, relatively new… ‘And HE is actually a «she.») Say hello to Ann, PTB’s owner/operator. Photo — Palm Thai Bistro Type of cuisine — Central Thailand«Street Style» Food However, don’t let the«Street Style» name fool you, it’s unlike any street food I’ve ever tasted! ‘Good sh’tuff! Like a number of bookmarked places, PTB has been on hold for a while until just last week. I met Ann a few months before PTB’s grand opening back in 2014… ‘And here it is, January 2016 and I’m just NOW getting my butt over here. After stopping in for my very first time, I have to ask myself, «What the hell took me so long?!» As usual, I referenced Unilocal*— The pumpkin curry & calamari appetizer seemed to be big hits, done. I originally opted for the spicy eggplant, one of my all time favorite dishes @ Chinese & Thai restaurants. I spoke to Ann about the«Daily Specials,» menu board and change my order to the Kao Sai, a common Northern Thailand dish. I also ordered a side of jasmine rice. I was considering a thai ice tea to accompany my early dinner but was happy to try Palm Thai Bistro’s mango ice tea… ‘Which by the way is FREE with your Unilocal*check-in.(Mahalo Unilocal*… ‘And PTB!) I arrived just before the restaurant opened for their 5pm dinner seating and had the whole house to myself… «Honey… I’m home! What’s for dinner?(Well, that didn’t last too long, people started arriving shortly after me.) I was instantly greeted by Daisha, my hostess/waitress. She was great, friendly, helpful, and attentive. — «Great job, Daisha!» THIS was what was for dinner: Mango Ice Tea(FREE w/yelp* check-in offer) — Very good; not too sweet; refreshing Photo — Calamari Appetizer($ 8) — Good; light batter; flavorful; nice portions Photo — Kao Sai Entrée($ 12) — Very good; flavorful; nice portions; great amount of heat; deliciously spicy Photo — Pumpkin Curry($ 11) — Very good; flavorful; nice portions; great amount of heat; deliciously spicy Photo — Jasmine Rice($ 2) — Good; cooked perfectly Photo — Fried Vanilla Ice Cream($ 5) — Very good; great portions; about the size of a small baby’s head Photo — Grand total: $ 36(+ tip) *With a lot leftover for tomorrow’s lunch or an late night meal. I have to add, Palm Thai Bistro’s dishes have a bit more heat than your average«spicy» dishes that you may find on other restaurant’s menus… ‘And for that I salute you! Heat you can taste and appreciate. I do like a bit of kick to my plates. It’s especially disappointing when a place advertises something as «spicy» only to have your taste buds yawn then fall asleep after the first couple of bites. Here @ PTB, you won’t find that problem… ‘And if you want to turn up the thermostat a bit more, you have options.(I like spicy as much as the next guy but I draw the line @ fire & brimstone.) Spices — I am no Thai aficionado but I now what I like. However, if you ever have a question about the menu, food, or what Thai hot spice is traditionally paired with your dish, do not hesitate to ask. — «Thank you, Ann!» I had some time to talk w/Ann about her shop, her menu, and her three chefs. Her head chef, «Andre,» comes from Napa, previously @ Domaine Chandon Winery. Her other two female chefs have roots from Thailand, the Esan Region, located in the north eastern part of the country. The other chef comes from Chiang Mai of Northern Thailand. At any one time, all three chefs can be found working together in the kitchen. In between the three of them with their different backgrounds & styles, we get the various dishes for PTB’s, «Daily Specials.» I really like that idea, the concept helps keep things fresh but«just enough» to keep it fresh from your standards fare of pad thai, pad see ew, green curry, or tom young goong. If you haven’t tried this new, local hot spot, it’s highly recommended and if you don’t, no worries… That’s just an extra available seat for me on busy nights. — «Bonne appetite!» — Big Aloha! Great new addition to the Business Center plaza! Definitely better than the old Fish & Chips spot that used to occupy the space prior. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Both my water and hot oolong tea were practically always filled to the rim. They event reward you if you check in to Unilocal with a Mango iced tea! I have yet to redeem it, so I’ll update you on that next time when I try it! They have a cute little bar in the back as well. My mom had a red wine and my dad had an IPA(can’t remember the exact drinks), and they both had refills and raved about it. For dinner, we shared several dishes. We had the spring rolls, which were perfect. Tom yum goong soup, which is simple, but nice and sour! We also had the garlic Brussel sprouts, which were delicious bit a bit on the salty side because of the soy sauce. The crab fried rice was yummy, with the crab chunks fried into the egg. And for our meat dishes, we had the Duck curry and mu yang. I am obsessed with the Mu yang, and they even discarded all of the fatty pieces, so it was all good meat! Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I’ll definitely be back!

service was okay… food was okay… I ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls, Thai iced tea, Tom Kha Gai soup and their pumpkin curry… –the rolls are sliced in sushi sized pieces which I wasn’t a fan of as it’s harder to eat than a sushi roll and the flavor was mediocre… –iced tea was basic… good size –soup was pretty good –pumpkin curry was spicy which was good… I don’t usually get the pumpkin curry because I don’t like the pumpkin that tends to be used(it’s mealy) but this one was less than usual… I would love to see red curry on the lunch menu but understand that they can’t please everyone… the place was packed so they must be doing something right just not to my specific tastes…

Okay this place is good(pricey but good) My only complaint is it smells funny.(like cheese) I have only ate in the place once. Other than that I order out. Have not been disappointed yet. The spring rolls are good. Each thai place around here has their thing. This place has good soups and overall good taste. Yet its a drive… so I dont always go here. Its not my First choice but its definitely a choice
