This is the way you eat oysters. Dining in or taking out food is always fresh. Enjoy sushi, rolls, sashimi and sake. Suggest Green Valley dinner with Salmon Teriyaki as well as California roll.

Tried this place last night with my hubby and was sad that they didn’t have what I wanted. Then they totally redeemed themselves when the young lady recommended to try the clients roll. Yyyuuummm! My hubby had their crazy California Roll and shared the agadeshi tofu which was great.

This use to be one of my favorite sushi places. However, over the past few months there has been a lot of staff turnover, so lately I have felt meh about it.
The first time I came in without the usual staff, the waitress sat me at the table and, despite me saying «table for one», they waited for a second person to arrive. They apologized, but it sat wrong with me.
It seems to also be hit or miss on who is fast. I usually only have an hour, so I like how fast the service is. Sometimes, the time has been pushed right to the hour, and I am wondering what is taking so long.
The food has not seemed to change, but I miss the old staff.

Been here quite a few times. The food is ok & the service is pretty good. We’ve never had to wait long for our meals. Nor have we ever waited to be seated. I like the mixed tempura which is probably among the best I’ve had. The bento boxes are decent and so is the sushi. The price is comparable to the other restaurants in the area which isn’t saying much because there isn’t much to choose from in the green valley area.

For two rolls it took way to long. Let alone we ordered 3 rolls. The waitress forgot to send in the order. Tasted cheap and not worth 12 bucks a roll. Paid our bill went somewhere else.

So, I don’t write many reviews, but when I do it’s because I really feel that people should know about a place. 1. The staff is incredible. Allison is so sweet and so nice. 2. Everything is super fresh and they have 3 chefs behind the sushi bar so it’s fast! Which was great cause I was starving to death! 3. The quality of their seafood is superb! Cold, fresh and tastes great! The Melting Albacore was a huge favorite of mine, I ordered 2 helpings and wanted to take some home!, the Caliente Roll is
. The green Valley Roll and the Country Girl Roll were both fantastic too. 4. The kids plates are great too! Girls ages 5 & 9, ate everything and thought it was great. PS, Oysters were huge, so meaty! Great value! PPS, today is Mother’s Day and there was no wait. Definitely will be back super soon!

Excited to review Sushi King again. Looks like they’ve undergone some staffing changes which has greatly improved the quality of their customer service. Glad to be back Sushi King! PS — Sushi Chef Aaron is our favorite sushi chef.

I’ve been eating here for over 2 years; such an establishment serves quality sushi with an excellent and warming staff. The servers are remarkably hospitable and considerate with their guests. This restaurant has an overall authentic feel.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I know! Great sushi, clean place, excellent service. The waitress Alison was so kind, quick and helpful even recommending multiple rolls I would like based on my personal preferences! Again, awesome service and great atmosphere. Perfect sushi dining all around!

I really wanted this place to be my go to spot for sushi. Sadly, the food isn’t really worth the price. When it comes to sushi you can’t expect to go cheap, but you still expect some quality for the amount you pay.
Ordered to go, a dinner bento with Salmon Teriyaki, California Roll, and salmon sashimi. Also got a Green Valley roll since the pictures looked good. The Benton was $ 18.95 and the roll was $ 8.95. The bento wasn’t anything special, the sashimi is what really ticked me off. Sashimi should be like biting into butter, but mine was really chewy and hard to bite off. The Green Valley roll wasn’t bad, reason why I’m giving 3 stars still.
I’m writing this review because I asked in specific if there was soy sauce in the bag. The woman at the counter stated,“Yes of course.” When I got home «of course» there wasn’t. How do you eat sashimi without soy sauce. I had to ask my neighbor for some to eat my mediocre sashimi. I have also worked in the food industry and really don’t appreciate things like this. Worst part of all was that it WAS NOT busy what so ever for her not to have checked to make sure.

After a long day I spotted the Sushi King sign and decided to stop by for a quick snack to hold me over until dinner. The staff was really helpful with helping decide what to have as it was my first time, the sushi chef actually over heard me asking for recommendations and he jumped suggested the Caliente Roll which isn’t even on the menu. I liked his confidence so I went with it. I have to say it’s one of the best spicy sushi rolls that I’ve ever had. Inside it had spicy tuna, salmon, tempura shrimp and cucumber topped with albacore tuna, sliced jalapeños, siracha and spicy house made mayo. I will definitely be returning for the Caliente Roll and to try other options on the menu.

For my first time coming to this place it wasn’t that bad. My weightier recommend a spicy roll that wasn’t on the menu. I also tried the pink lady roll. Over all nice place not to loud nice staff.

the lunch special comes with soup and a salad, and that is great. As i was driving down the freeway and was looking for something easy to get to I thought this place would be great, and it is right off the freeway, but really getting to this place sucked, you get off an exit and take a back road to a one way street, and if you miss it it puts you right back on the freeway.
I had a sushi tuna maki roll, and it was ok, nothing to write about, and the nigri. Fresh, and the rice was very good. For the money the lunch special was a great value, but the prices of the rolls not on lunch special seemed a little expensive.

My boyfriend and I wanted to explore what our community has to offer in terms of Japanese food, so we gave this place a try. The service and ambiance? Not bad. But the food was awful! It looked so much better than it tasted. Will NEVER come back!

Love me some Sushi King! It’s nice having a great sushi place right next to the office.
The Sushi is always fresh and great tasting, they have some unique rolls that are great as well. The sushi is reasonably priced but it can get expensive if you have a lot of different rolls. With that said the bento boxes are a great deal for lunch, the amount of food included for the price makes it a great deal.
Service can be somewhat spotty… When the lunch rush hits sometimes your waitress can go MIA for a little bit. But most of the time it is not a big deal. I highly recommend this place ate hear several times and have never had a bad meal.

I came here in the morning with my boyfriend. There was no other customers, but the servers took so long before they asked us if we were ready to order.
Their food is delicious. I ordered a special California roll.
I had to ask for the waitress to refill my water because they never checked in with us.
Overall, the food is great but they need to improve on their service. At least the chefs thanked us as we were leaving the restaurant.
