The food is not bad(hard to screw up a deli sandwich). If you want to work here you have to be dumb, mean, or both. The attitudes are terrible in this place. They always manage to mess something up.

If you are looking for a breakfast sandwich go to duchess instead. At least there the sandwich looks appetizing, is tasty and the bacon is freshly cooked(not partially reheated). As an added bonus you get in and out fast without having to deal with a cashier who is untrained, overwhelmed, selectively personable, and clearly reluctant to be there.

Leaving 3stars because the older woman who works at the register is really slow paced and unaware of her surroundings. I call in my orders for pick up and it takes her a decent amount of time to notice me even though I’m right in front of her. She is always excessively chatting with regular customers and not tending to the long line of other customers. U think calling ahead would be in and out but generally takes 10 minutes. My food is usually ready at the pass and she never checks back there. Im left waiting for her to finish multiple lengthy conversations while my food becomes cold. Breakfast sandwiches are always consistent and it is the closest deli to my house. Other food is average, nothing amazing.

Excellent homemade muffins and scones for breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches on the most delicious bagels are a must! Sandwiches are simple but delicious, reasonably priced and quick to prepare. Chicken Caesar wrap is great!

Something’s are definitely worse than others but I’m updating and adding a star because their breakfast is always consistent. Breakfast an soups are a solid play here.

By far the best deli in Fairfield for the price. Always get one of the specials — their meatball parm is fantastic. Never had a bad experience.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. It takes a lot of self control not to go there every morning on the way to work!

Sandwiches are average, definitely nothing special. They only offer basic ingredients(they don’t have spinach or any other leafy vegetable besides lettuce) Beware the soup! I ordered chicken noodle soup and I kid you not I got a cup of Campbell’s «home style» chicken noodle soup. I know it for a fact because I had it recently and it’s absolutely disgusting. I will definitely not be returning to this deli. There are far better and cheaper choices in fairfield.

what all of you are missing is the Shredder. It’s NOT on the menu board anymore, but they will still make it for you. Bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, homefries, and hot sauce, on a roll. Yes, all of these things are in one sandwich. and it’s worth it.

Favorite place in Fairfield for breakfast or lunch on-the-go! My favorite is the sausage egg and cheese on a Portuguese roll. Everything is fresh and made to order. Everyone is friendly and very quick. Plus its all very reasonably priced!

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon about 2pm. The girls behind the counter were rude and acted as if it was an imposition to wait on us. They did not greet us and only asked if we knew what we wanted. The veggie wrap was fresh, but tasteless as was the potato salad. When we received our order and paid, she just walked away without saying a word. Rude, rude, rude. Will not be going back. There are plenty of great, friendly places to eat in Fairfield.

This place is what you want from a deli. Great bread, solid cold cuts and a nice variety of salad. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich(bacon, egg & cheese). Hands down the best in ffld.
