I have gone here for years but the last two years the service and general regard for customers has just steadily gone downhill. When they screw up, they never apologize or offer $ off or anything. This week my chicken Francese was so tough I could not cut it with a knife. They took it back to the kitchen & pounded it and returned it to me. No price adjustment, nothing! It used to be a decent neighborhood place. Something has happened here and it’s not good. Another time when I pointed out an error in the bill, the woman at the register said I didn’t need to re-sign because they adjust their receipts later. She was very evasive, but there was something off about her explanation. Any decent place comps the meal or offers a drink or dessert or SOMETHING. Not this place. Also, some creepy people loiter here hot hours scratching their lottery tickets.

I ordered three pizzas from Pizza Post tonight. I am a long time customer and accustomed to being treated well. However, tonight, employee #21(his name was not on the receipt), was very rude. He was very disrespectful. At first he mumbled, and I couldn’t understand what he said. I gave him the incorrect change and he glared at me and demanded the rest of the money. After waiting five minutes to get the pizza, I asked for the receipt, because I didn’t think three pizzas would cost almost $ 40 dollars. He glared at me again and said«uhhh you want a receipt»?”. While I was checking it he ushered me out of the story by saying«You’re all set, good night». I pointed out that the total was incorrect, but he said«uhhh I didn’t make a mistake the total is correct». At which point, I left the store. Next time, I will take my business to a more friendly establishment.

Reliable, quick, good food and service. Lulu pizza is great(add sausage). Their spinach, Gorgonzola, walnut salad is delicious and the perfect add-on to make you feel better about stuffing your face with carbs.

Gluten free pizza really bad. Customer service professional. I was pretty upset about the gluten free pizza I ordered because when I brought it home I discovered it was basically lower than the quality of frozen dinner. Pizza Post’s response to it was pretty professional, so I’ve upped the stars. Also, I’ve since learned that another pizzeria also serves pre-made gluten-free pizzas that are manufactured somewhere else(assuming this is the case with pizza post) This is something that everyone needs to improve. I’m sure it would be challenging to separate all wheat from non-wheat in a pizzeria, but surely there must be a way to make two kinds of dough and not cross contaminate. Or buy the gluten-free dough premade from another facility to eliminate the contamination issue. I have gluten-free pizza dough at home. Surely a pizzeria somewhere can figure out how to use gluten free pizza dough and bake up a fresh, sumptuous real pizza for us. Keep in mind, that while people with celiac can’t be anywhere near wheat, there are people like me who can tolerate trace amounts of it(Emphasis on *trace* amount). So there are variations of the gluten free health issue. Here’s my original rant… mind you I was thoroughly annoyed and really, really hungry too ;-) … The Gluten-Free Pizza horrified me so much, I joined Unilocal to tell you about it… When I picked up the box that contained my $ 10.90 ten-inch, plain cheese, GF pizza, it was feather-light, which seemed suspect, but I didn’t open the box till I got home because I was being an optimist. When I opened the box, inside was a pathetic looking pizza on an aluminum tray, reminiscent of something pre-manufactured that came out of a freezer. Still I was hoping it might be good. It wasn’t. It was of a lesser quality than even a frozen pizza: The sauce was a dry layer of mere color, with notes of Chef BoyRDee. The cheese was minimal and over baked, resembling a cheap toaster-oven pizza. The crust had a flavor of paper towels rather than dough — you could think you were mistakenly eating the box. Half of a rice cracker would be more filling than a slice of this pizza – it was that unsubstantial. A new legal term could be invented today: Pizza Fraud. In short, I can best describe this pizza as a pre-frozen hockey puck, priced at the weight of gold. Seriously, to the owners — would you eat this thing? If you seriously would, then I challenge you to have a public gluten-free pizza eating contest with your family members. Seriously folks, something like this should NEVER come out of a pizzeria, where you expect a freshly made pizza, baked in a genuine pizza oven. If what they served me was normal for pizzeria standards, then everyone would stay home and cook.

Ordered delivery and it arrived quickly. Didn’t have pizza but ordered penne with vodka sauce. The sauce didn’t seem like a vodka sauce it was white which I had never seen before. I was going to call them thinking they delivered the wrong order but the bag it came in said«penne vodka». It tasted like a butter sauce with little flavor, I was disappointed. Boyfriend had the chicken parm grinder which was average and the slice of NY Cheesecake was more like a sliver and the crust was grey and hard. The actual cake part was delicious. I don’t think I would order from here again.

It is our default place to go to for Dinner. Their pastas are fresh and the wraps and very good too. Good value for money in a homely atmosphere. Funny enough we never had pizza here, maybe next time we go.

I’m the duchess here and I haven’t written a review? How is this possible? Pizza Post has gradually become one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield over the last two years — I have absolutely never been disappointed by anything there: their staff is lovely, their food is great, and their atmosphere is very comfortable for Friday night pizza with my best girl. Medium half pepperoni/half cheese pizza with a side of fried dough and a side of garlic bread? Count me in, my mouth is already watering just thinking about it. I can’t get back soon enough. Pizza Post’s prices are fantastically reasonable: everything I mentioned above(a medium pizza with two sides), plus two drinks, totals in under $ 25. That’s a price you absolutely cannot beat for two 21-year-old college girls with a tight budget and a pizza craving. And then time between you ordering your items and receiving your items is great; you’re not waiting around for a half an hour like you would be at a lot of the other chain restaurants around. You see your pizza go in the oven across the restaurant, you start in on your appetizer, and your pizza arrives. It’s all quite lovely, really. So, the verdict? Well, I go here a lot, so I can safely say that I cannot possibly imagine you finding anything wrong with it. Delicious pizza, great prices, and a comfy atmosphere. Three things you more definitely not going to get from Domino’s — so what are you waiting for?

This is my go to spot if i ever want to sit down and have some pizza. The appetizers as well as the pizza are just perfect. The place itself is nice and clean, the waitresses are always nice and friendly and when it gets busy theres always somewhere to sit. Friends and i always love to come here.

My favorite pizza in Fairfield, hands down. Not the fanciest of places but their pizza(and crust) is delicious and very well priced. I would highly recommend the white pizza!

Good Pizza, I must say it was a different kind of Pizza I am used to eat in CT. Nothing bad, just different… it was not as cheese and greasy, but more the healthy type of Pizza. Good Pizza though! Service was good too, they were out of Grinder’s so that’s why I got the Pizza. The location is ‘gemütlich’ like the Germans say, and it had more the feel of a European bar, but that does not take nothing away from the Pizza Post.

Having move to Bridgeport from New York, the BX to be exact, I haven’t found«good pizza». After reading the reviews I decided to give this a try. I’m disappointed. I ordered a large pie, I received a personal, with a slice on the side! The sauce could be better if they eased up on the garlic, and remove the huge bay leaf before puttin it on a pie. The crust was delicious, and my stars are for that and the cheese, they didn’t skimp on that! Overall, not great, not good, but not bad. I’ll try the sandwiches next…
