Excellent family-​owned and run business!!!
Started about 20 years ago, We’ve used this company to install an AC system to keep our 6 months baby boy happy. Rick was the installer, a very meticulous and courteous young man. Since then, we’ve also used RD Heating a few of times for heating maintenance throughout the years. Jayson has been our service man, another courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable young man. We’re glad to have found such a reliable company.
Thank you for keeping our family «cool» in the summer and «nice and toasty» in the winter!

I recently upgraded a furnace and installed an air conditioning unit for my mother’s home in Napa. I received 3 bids from HVAC companies that were rated high on both Angie’s list and Unilocal (1 Napa HVAC company and 1 out of Santa Rosa). Jayson, from RD, provided the most competitive bid of the 3 and he turned out to be the most knowledgeable on what was needed for the home. Jayson and Chris were the technicians that installed the units and they did and excellent job. There were a few problems on my end that caused a delay in the project and Jayson was very accommodating. They also installed a gas line so we could transition from an electric dryer to gas dryer. Sharon, in the office, was easy to work and was timely answering the questions I had concerning the bid and payments. I highly recommend the company.

Sharon is your first contact — she handles logistics, quotations, and a lot of other operational elements you won’t even see! She was super quick to respond, and Jayson (son?) and Rick (husband/​dad) were scheduled right away to assess my complicated installation. Then, I got a quote quickly, AND, to my relief, Sharon didn’t seem to mind when I asked for (cringe) three more! I was having budget issues, and RD Heating was terrific in working with me, explaining, recommending, and never making me feel like I was a pain (which I was!). Pricing was more than fair.
Installation was scheduled, and Jayson and his co-​worker were right on time. They were so efficient that they actually finished earlier than they said! Clean-​up was amazing — the areas were cleaner than when they started. The units RD Heating recommended are fantastic (quiet, efficient, easy to use).
About a month after the installation, I had a question about the unit — and Sharon and Jayson were quick again to respond. They remembered me and the job, and were as friendly and helpful as can be. Great to know that «afterservice» is there, and wonderful.
I would NOT hesitate to use RD Heating and Air Conditioning for any job in the future!

I was impressed by RD Heating and AC from start to finish. I got a quote from them when I was in escrow and revisited them when I was ready to get my gas furnace replaced about six months later. Sharon was my first point of contact over the phone and she honored the original quote even though some costs had gone up since then. I also got a quote from a highly rated contractor on Unilocal but found RD more personable, able to meet the specific needs of the job and charged less for better equipment.
Jayson and Fred arrived and completed the work in a timely manner and were courteous and pleasant to have around the house for the day. They cleaned the air ducts for an extra fee and hauled away my old central air unit for no extra cost. I would recommend their services.
