he ladies there are awesome. We went on a Sunday so we had the buffet. It is a small buffet but it was good. The bagoong was awesome, I could have eaten that and rice alone. They had Kare kare which was good, and palabok was a little greasy but still good, the pancit was good and they also had adobo and longonisa. I liked it all. Best of all is the people who work there. They saw my 6 year old didn’t really eat so they didn’t charge for her.

If this place is even open during their posted hours, I can’t recommend it. I bought an Amazon Local deal and tried to use it 4 times before finally getting them on the 5th try. The Adobo was certainly not unique and was just edible. I enjoyed the pork lumpia but it was pretty oily.

Their lumpias are THEBEST in fairfield! I’ve been to other filipino places and have tried their lumpias, nothing beats Roline’s lumpias. When I got there there wasn’t much food left so I didn’t get to try much. Word of warning: their parking area is VERYLIMITED, and they share these parking spots with other business. If my car didn’t have cameras, I would’ve never been able to squeeze into a spot just to be able to park.

Loved the BBQ pork and pork adobo. The lumpia was fresh but eh… all in all a great lunch.

All you can eat Pinoy buffet with good quality, home-style food(like you crashed your Tita and Tito’s Pacquiao viewing party)… ambiance leaves a bit to be desired but the lady there(who said she cooked everything and was waitress all day) was super sweet and attentive. I just wish they had a bit more traffic… it’s in a sleepy little strip mall in a questionable part of town. The lady there was sweet but it would’ve been nice if other customers were around and we didn’t feel watched and overly doted on as we pigged out on the buffet offerings.

Gosh I love the people who run this restaurant. The man behind the counter was one of the sweetest beings I have ever met. The problem? The food. It was just not that terrific. I had the vegetable pancit. It was pretty good. Nothing special. The chicken adobo had great taste but not a lot of chicken. My plate was mostly bones. I didn’t care for the lumpia. The food was served on a buffet type service line and it looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. The fish looked dry and everything just looked sad. The place is impeccably clean and you could probably eat off of the bathroom floor. It is very well maintained. I wanted to like this place. I really did. I will probably not be back though :(

I’m typing this with one hand as I munch on a pork lumpia. We just moved so not everything is set up yet. I’m starving, and hubby has taken my car to work. I called Roline’s and spoke to Tony, who was gracious enough to deliver to our place even though he mostly delivers catering orders. The first thing I notice when I get the delivery is how much food there is. I ordered 5 things and the total came to like $ 33 and some change. The pork sinigang is FILLED with veggies and chunks of pork, unlike most Filipino places you go to, which give you mostly soup veggies and barely any meat. The soup is perfectly sour. I also ordered chicken apritada, eggplant, veggie pancit, and the aforementioned pork lumpia. Nothing was greasy. NOTHING. The thing that grosses me out about most Filipino restaurants is that you feel like you’re going to have a heart attack after eating a meal. Even their lumpia, which was freshly cooked(because Tony had to fire it up before he delivered it), barely left any grease on my fingers. I just typed that last paragraph with both hands… guess that means I need to get another lumpia! :) I can’t wait to try their other stuff, hopefully in person.

Came close to closing so perhaps that had an effect. People were nice, but food was not very good. There was barely any food left, and the food that was left out was just not that great. They do have a little market in there consisting of Filipino, Hawaiian, and Japanese foods and items for purchase.

OK. With all these 5 star reviews, clearly I’m missing something. I’m really hoping to get some advice because I do want to like this place. That being said, here’s my experience. I love Filipino food and was hoping to get some to take out. From the website I knew they did a lot of catering but also had a restaurant. The lack of an itemized and priced menu would have me guessing it’s a buffet-style place. That’s fine. I dropped by around 5:30pm into the small place. No customers… Were they closed? There was a pleasant lady behind the register she emerged with a nice smile and then promptly walked into the back leaving me standing there alone. Did she assume I was here for buffet and just serve myself? I wanted take out so I started looking for a take out box or something I could use but there was nothing but stacks of plates for a sit-down meal. I took a look at the food that was out at the small buffet station. I’m no snob about presentation as long as food is good. The food that was out looked a little dried out, but I’d still give it a shot if I had the chance. A single fly buzzing around it did put me off, but I can’t blame them — for all I know it probably came in with me. So I waited … and waited. It must’ve been no more than 5 minutes but it felt longer. I got tired of waiting and left. If someone tells me the food is really good I’d love to give it a second try. Did I arrive at the end of service? Is that why the trays looked dried out and the place was empty? Are they more about the catering? Do they only do lunch? Did I come on an off-day? Or is this a business centered about a core of regulars? I don’t know what to say. Should I come earlier? Should I call in advance if I want take out? Or should I forget about take out and just do the buffet? I want to have the opportunity to change this rating. Alas I’m not in a position to comment about the food. I like family-run places and the lady did seem genuinely nice for the few seconds I saw her. I’m not local so I’m sure I’m missing something. Help.

I’ve been to their location in Vacaville a few times and I was pretty impressed. When I heard they opened up in Fairfield I thought it was too good to be true! One thing that’ll hit you the moment you walk in is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Place is so clean you’ll almost second guess that your in that little shopping plaza. I spoke with the owner earlier today when I visited and he was super nice. Great service all around. When I came in(in the beginning of the buffet) he asked if I wanted the Filipino channel on. Obviously I said no ’cause I don’t understand none of that. He turned the channel to the news(Apple stock is down ya’ll! Get cha finga’s in their juug!). The food is good. It’s not common to find a Filipino restaurant that doesn’t douse their food with oil and has a ton of fat in their meats. Feels good to eat some Filipino food without having to run to the bathroom with my tabo. Overall I’m very satisfied with their food and service. I like how their workers are able to strike up a conversation with you rather than serve you and charge you. I really hope this place does well ’cause I’ll probably be frequenting this place a lot in the near future.

My wife surprised me by having Roline’s delivered to me at a class I was teaching in Fairfield. The gentleman who brought the food was super friendly and we chatted a bit. The food was awesome and priced very nicely. I got enough pancit, chicken adobo, and lumpia to last two meals. Everything was very tasty and I cannot wait until I’m in town again so that I can head to my new favorite lunch spot.

The food — extremely amazing! Definitely coming back for the dinner menu. They have it on display, and it sounds delicious. It feels like home, it’s not often I get Filipino cuisine since moving out. The place has a warming environment, and once again — the food was super amazingly delicious!

I haven’t written a review in a while, but Roline’s is the place to be! Tita Roline is so welcoming and motherly. Many of the UC Davis students travel out to Fairfield to visit her, especially since we does delivery to UC Davis and all over the area. The food is always delicious, nicely spiced, and unique!(of course) This new Fairfield location has a dining room to eat in and to chat away with friends, family, and of course, Tita Roline.

Just got to stop by the Fairfield place today – wonderful! Haved loved the Vacaville shop for a while; now have two places to go. I am very new to Filipino food, and having a great time learning, lol. Bangus! Loganissa! Yum!

Fairfield definitely needs more local food places like this one. First, the owner Roline is very friendly and helpful in describing the dishes. This is a casual eatery where you walk up to the counter and see all the food in tin serving trays. The fried fish was light and crispy, but not too oily. The butternut squash with string beans in a coconut squash had the right amount of flavor without being overwhelmed in sauce. I will definitely be visiting this place often.

This place is real good home cooked Filipino food with great service. Roline came and introduced herself to us and even hugged the kids. They have all you can eat buffet on the weekends so you can get a taste of her cooking. Ginataan was so good! You know it’s good food when your kids eat everything and want to come back. Can’t wait for lumpia classes Roline :). Thanks for the hospitality. Don’t find these kind of places often anymore.

This is the new Fairfield branch of the local Rolines from Vacaville but now as a one stop shop for your Filipino food craving. All I can say is that my cravings were more than satisfied. The lumpia was golden brown and almost looked too good to eat but it even tasted better than it looked. The grilled barbecue, pork adobo, Bangus and longanissa were so good too! To top it off, great ginataan for dessert! Good for anyone who loves Filipino food or is new to Filipino food! Definitely coming back to Rolines every time I’m around town! The service is great and Rolines and her husband Tony are also there personally to greet you and make you feel right at home!
