Ownershipr truly cares about the patrons. The take responsibility for the customer service and small details that add up to a five-star experience. Nice nit to spend my time and money at a place that is locally owned and run.

The best! Had to go to a kids party at monster mini golf next door and stopped in for a beer and burger. I can’t believe I have never been/heard of this place. Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. I live 5 minutes away and will be back once a week for sure!

So second time here and just as my first review stated. Great great bar! Had some food this time and it was delicious. Tuesday night is trivia night and there was a good crowd out for it. Again the bartenders especially Melissa were great and they make you feel right at home!

If you want your food under and hour, don’t go here. Granted, we went with a group of 17. The waitress took our order pretty quickly, first our drinks, then the food. The drinks took at least 10 minutes. Most of us ordered appetizers, burgers and salads. These are menu items that don’t require enormous prep. One woman arrived 30 minutes after our order was placed, yet she got her food 30 minutes ahead of us. 45 minutes into waiting, I asked what was the holdup and she said «There is only one cook, and we are trying to get everything out at the same time. Bad move. No manager every came to apologize or offer us anything. One hour later one of us still didn’t get a salad! I was a restaurant manager for year, so I understand the challenges faced in any food establishment. This is a sports bar, not a five star restaurant! Hire a another cook for gods sake! Don’t go here. Don’t waste your time.

I was meeting my cousins here for game 5 of the nba finals. Place is dead. Ordered some kind of buffalo shrimp, pierogies and rosemary garlic wings. Pierogies were smothered with onions n bacon and were pretty damn good. The buffalo shrimp were unimpressive but not terrible. The rosemary garlic wings were pretty gross. The broads behind the bar are very nice, but I can’t wait to get outta here.

Came at 6pm on a Monday. Bar was fairly empty, but that was expect considering how early it was. My first impressions were, MYGOSH, their bar is so nice looking! and how awesome it was to have a pool table. My friend and I say wherever, and we proceeded to order drinks — him, a beer, and me, a Gin and Tonic. First of all, the drinks were pretty strong, which is obviously a huge plus. They don’t skimp on alcohol. Second, they were really helpful with their recommendations. Our server Casey was really awesome, and joked around with us a lot, but not to annoyingly. The food we ordered(burger, salad) came out really fast, and in huge portions. The burger was cooked fantastically, and the salad was really good value. As we ate and drank, the bar filled up more and more. I wish I came during a better sports night, as the only thing that was on was the NBA draft, but I could tell, with the amount of TVs they have, the quality food that I sampled(I will need to try more), the drink variety, and fast and helpful service, that this place must be a lot of fun to hang out at during games. I’ll be back soon!

It is very hard to find a good place to eat anymore that takes time to use fresh food! My husband and I come to Sidelines often because they cook fresh meals for a reasonable price. They make fresh mozzarella balls with a garlic crust with a fresh marinara sauce and it is delicious! Also if you like spicy food try the chicken lollipops! They are really good. And the burger is huge and always cooked to perfection. They also change the beer on the taps frequently so there is plenty to choose from. Any time we are there whether it is a weekday or weekend there is always people in there. The staff is always friendly and attentive when we are there. We have been coming here since they opened and the other thing I think is great to see is the amount of staff that is the same from the start. A lot of places change employees so much that it doesn’t look good for business. As to a previous review about a girl complaining about being carded and asked for a second form of ID as proof, if you are asked for a second form of ID there is probably a good reason. I am sure that they do this for a reason as I am sure you wouldn’t want someone underage ruining your life dream of owning a business. It is a matter of safety. Around the holidays I spoke with the owner, Alexandra about how every year she does Toys for Tots and she brings car fulls of toys for the kids and she is going to continue that tradition she has started. The toys were over flowing this past Christmas season at Sidelines and I am sure it will be even better this year! Keep serving up some amazing food!

I only gave Sideline one star because I had too… It deserves no stars. This place is a joke. We came in with a couple of friends and the place was dead. Only the bartenders and servers. We couldn’t get anyone to get our order. And when we asked for drinks; they asked us for two forms of ID. Might as well just ask for our birth certificate. The bartenders were rude and not to mention very sloppy looking. Nonetheless the food was decent. Not much more to say. Not going back there again.

My friend works near by so we decided to try it out. The Food is okay. Service is good. Drinks are good, but wish they were stronger. I got the red flag lemonade cocktail. I’d come back for happy hour. & I wanna try the quesadilla’s.

the food is BANGING. it’s amazing. i’ve been to this place several times since i’ve moved into my Fairfield office(since sept ’14). don’t let the odd location deter you. it’s actually very nice and roomy, and CLEAN, great selection of various tap beers, and i’m telling you the food is so good. the pasta fagioli soup you’ll eat every drop. the cowboy burger is delicious. and occasionally the cook makes up a pot of gumbo that’s out of this world. the owner(Alex) is a very energetic young woman, she runs a great ship. i wish her the best of luck. this place is worthy of your wallet. give it a try!

Perfect sports bar with great food, great bartenders. Little billiards, darts and juke box completes the experience. Owner Alex is always there and does a great job keeping everyone happy. Workers are pleasant and helpful. Daily specials keep you coming back. Get here!!!

My hubby and I were on our way home from work one night and noticed a bright red sign on the side of Rt 46 in Fairfield, where there was never a bright red sign. We realized, from the name and the neon beer signs in the window, that it was a new bar. It’s in a weird location(the building is part office building, part Monster Golf) — but if you pass it up, you can pull off at the next off ramp and back track to it — and it’ll be worth it. They are a fairly new place, but the employees are very friendly, the food(we’ve only had potato skins — YUM! and fried mac and cheese bites) is quite tasty, and the beer selection is pretty decent(I have the feeling it will be getting better in the near future!!) They have a pool table(and a pool team which plays in a league during the week), a couple dart boards, tables, a nice-sized bar, a juke box, tons of TVs with all the games on, food and beer. What more could you want! Stop in a say«HI» to the owner, Alex — she is very friendly and pleasant. it’s a nice little place to pop in for happy hour, grab a bite, and just relax after work — we haven’t been in there later at night, but we’ve heard they get a pretty decent crowd. There are different events during the week(Toys for Tots for the holidays, the UFC fight in January 2015, a New Year’s eve party, football Sundays with specials) and weekly Happy Hour specials, too! .stop in and check them out! let’s support our local new bars/restaurants!
