Bought a front door for my house from Home Depot in Fairfield and had them install it. The installation was done incorrectly, the door rotted out and the inside of my house sustained water damage. Come to find out, even though the door had a ten year warranty, the warranty on the installation of the door had expired. What the heck. It cost me $ 3200 to replace the door AGAIN and fix the water damage. The lady manager at Home Depot had a bad attitude, was not willing to help me and NEVER returned my calls. So think twice before you use the installation services there because they do NOT stand behind their work and their customer service staff, namely the nasty lady manager there is awful. Yuk!

Home Depot in Fairfield is the worst. Rushed to get there to get a truck I was promised and no one said anything about a deadline until we got there. RICHARD the manager was totally rude and mean. I’ve spent thousands of dollars there and expect to be treated civilly.

i read a disturbing review of home depot employees at the norwalk store. I have gone to the norwalk store many times and have always found the employees helpful and courteous. How dare people belittle workers that are making a little above minimum wage, shame on the reviewers. Also i did a big roofing job and the manager personally had his workers help my men load the truck. Also the manager remined me of my contractor discount. Now to the Fairfield Home Depot. I manage commercial realestate in ny and ct. So when I need lumber, roofing, masonry, electric, plumbing and appliances I make one stop and thats Home Depot. I have always been treated with respect and found the managers and employees at the Fairfield store to be sharp, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable in their fields and departments. Also I feel very comfortable shopping there as I can not say the same for the Yonkers store as the lines checking out take to much time and the managers seem MIA when it comes to opening another cash register. back to Fairfield. I think the managers are wonderful and are truly dedicated to helping the customers.

Went there today. Had trouble with my kitchen faucet. Found a sales person. He was knowledgeable about plumbing and he took the time to help me find the right part for the fixture.
