Friendlys was without a doubt my all time favorite restaurant when I was a little kid. I would always order the BBQ chicken supermelt sandwich with waffle fries and then a reeses pieces sundae for dessert — ugh to die for. I haven’t been in recently for breakfast, lunch or dinner but I have been to the little window outside for ice cream a handful of times. The ice cream is still as sweet as ever and so is the service. They also renovated the inside some years ago so it’s a nice, clean and bright environment. I prefer this location over the one in Dartmouth, it’s a much more comfy atmosphere and it’s in my favorite town of Fairhaven.

Went here for the first time to get breakfast. I waited three minutes to get acknowledged. I don’t even want to know how long it took for someone to take my order. The bacon was crispy I don’t think the eggs were real and the French toast was blah to say the least. The only good thing is the carafe of coffee so you don’t need to wait for more. I must say that my waitress was very nice.

Brought my eight y/o Daughter here for National Ice Cream Day.
No one at the establishment had heard of the event, even thought the national chain was offering a celebratory treat:
Service was spotty at best, with my fetching things like straws, silverware, and an ice cream menu, even though there were far more empty tables than full ones.
I like the chain, but I can’t imagine returning here.

I love Friendly’s. But this place completely disappointed me. I went with my husband literally just minutes ago and the place was not even that busy. Which i was actually excited about because they are always busy. We waited at the front to be seated. I saw two waitress’ and they didn’t even acknowledge us. There was a woman checking out someone at the register and she didn’t even say anything to us. We waited a good 10 to 15 minutes. No one sat us or even said hello. I kept trying to get someone’s attention and was ignored. We literally walked out. This literally happened about two minutes ago. I’m at another restaurant down the street.

We will never go to the one in Dartmouth! That one smells funny and is very low budget. The Fairhaven one is the complete opposite! The staff are always on point and the food is delicious! The manager Chris (sp?) is awesome, she always comes and visits us and makes us feel like family. She runs a tight ship and will never let you down when it comes to service or the food. It’s always nice and clean. Highly recommended, thanks Chris, you rock!!!
