Great place! I loved it. You guys would get 5 stars from me, if you were open when you said you’d be open. I went yesterday during the time you guys said you were open, you guys were closed. I went today after work about 4pm and you guys was closed. You know a girl needs her ice cream fix.

We liked that we could try the yogurt before buying. We enjoyed what we got, but we thought it was just a tad expensive considering it’s all self serve. The girls at the counter were chit chatting away, while the tables were sticky. I liked the moose décor. It was different.

I love moose, I like froyo. I didn’t think this place would need to try too hard to be awesome. But the«café» bit is misleading. The coffee is Keurig K-cups. Because I came for the café, I was disappointed. But since I was already in the door, why not try some froyo? Many different flavors, but those I sampled were all over-the-top sweet and flavored. At nearly $.50/lb, it’s not cheap either. The name is misleading — this is a froyo place that also sells some cupcakes and assorted cake-y desserts. It’s not a café in experience or décor… though technically you can buy Keurig DIY coffee. I will continue on my hunt for good cafes in the area. Real brewed coffee and all!

I’m a big FroYo fan so when I see a new place open, I just have to stop. This place opened up in Sconticut Neck Square(ironically just a few doors down from the old TCBY yogurt shop location, which is now a Subway). I stopped in a few days ago. They have a fairly large selection of yogurt flavors, as well as toppings(everything from fresh fruit to cereal, candy, nuts, hot fudge and caramel sauces, whipped cream etc), I had strawberry and coffee FroYo with just a little whipped cream on top. Yummy. The price is high for FroYo($ 0.49/ounce) but as long as you don’t go overboard, you can get by spending just a couple bucks. They also have coffee and a bunch of other desserts to enjoy. The décor is interesting, to say the least, lots of moose everywhere you look. Not what I would have picked, but who goes to a froyo shop to look at the walls anyway?

I really wanted to like this place. It’s been under construction and coming soon for what seemed like a while. First let me say I don’t get the connection of Moose and frozen yogurt. That being said the place is nice and clean and looks like something out of Country Bears Jamboree, lots of varnished wood with bear motifs. I think if I were a kid I’d be thrilled going to the bear/moose/yogurt place. As for the current flavors: Alpine Vanilla Classic Chocolate Cinnamon Bun NY Cheesecake Rootbeer Float Thin Mint Cake Batter Cookies n Cream Pomegranate Energy Pink Lemonade Sorbet Strawberry banana Of these I tried the: Classic Chocolate– you can’t ruin chocolate Rootbeer Float– I had no idea why I took this. It tastes like root beer but who wants root beer flavored yogurt? Ick! Thin Mint– it was like eating pack after pack of double mint gum. Strawberry banana– tastes like your eating a strawberry air freshener I also tried my nephews, alpine vanilla– they all have nice labels that look more like ads for candle scents then yogurt, this one was that overly perfumed vanilla. In the end, maybe it would be a nice place for some but not for me, the flavors are all too intense and just don’t taste that great to me. I hope it does well but it’s not my place for frozen yogurt.
