Wonderful food, drinks and service. A little loud inside but quiet outside although too hot to sit outside when we were there. I had snapper throats grilled over couscous and green beans. We asked for bread to go with the meal and were promptly provided with delicious grilled bread. Bread pudding was very good. We should have skipped the fish wraps for an appetizer as they were only average and we didn’t need all that much food. Defiantly will be back!

I really enjoyed this place, and the view of the boats is great. Our waiter(a friendly, helpful, and spunky strawberry blonde gentlemen with glasses whose name escapes me now) was great, and his recommendations were spot on. The crabmeat meatballs were great, and I had the grouper sandwich, which had divine brioche bread but was a little fishy for my taste. The cocktails were inventive, and the key lime dessert and banana pudding dessert were delicious. A fantastic place to eat:)

This was probably the only restaurant I could find on a Sunday in Fairhope that had cocktails, non-fried seafood, and a gorgeous view of the waters. Always opt to take a seat by the waters. However, the lighting at night for this area is pretty terrible, and it made reading the menu pretty difficult. It doesn’t help(and this is not the restaurant’s fault) that termites were flying around and about. The grilled snapper was expensive but delicious. I couldn’t finish the rice on this dish but the snapper was cooked wonderfully. We also ordered a BBQ shrimp appetizer. It was good and worth sharing. The Fairhope 75 was the perfect summer drink. I also liked the selection of white wines that they had.

On St Patrick’s day some friends and I searched every where in Fairhope for green beer. It wasn’t until we went to Sunset Pointe that we found just that, green beer. Not knowing that it was not customary for the restaurant to provide green beer on St. Pattys day, they quickly made us their own version and it was perfect! Thanks for being so accommodating to our annual tradition of green beer!

Wow, what a gem! Great view over the marina, relaxed vibes, fresh seafood and zesty flavors. I was heading back from a beautiful day at the beach when I Unilocaled across sunset pointe. We ordered the Mediterranean tuna crudo for a starter– unexpected flavor combo but all fresh and tasty. That was followed up split a blackened shrimp salad and grilled grouper sandwich. Farm to table… more like marina to mouth! The tastiness didn’t stop with our food. I ordered the«cool as a cucumber» — a riff on the gin gimlet with some cucumber syrup, rosemary and basil. Refreshing as some aloe on the sunburn I’ll surely have by the time I get back home. 10⁄10 would go back.

We’ve tried this restaurant twice. It was good but not great. A bit overpriced for the fare — but the view was very nice.

We were a group of six last night. Unfortunately we didn’t get there in time together a seat outside, but the view was still good. The place had a sort of upscale sports bar vibe. We got appetizers of oysters and green tomatoes, both good. The evening highlight was the mason jar desserts-especially the key lime curd. Everyone wished we’d gotten two of those. Everyone liked their dinner but agreed it was the key lime we’d come back for.

Our new favorite place near Fairhope. Courtney was the best server we’ve had in the 14 years we’ve been coming here a couple times a year. Food was fantastic. There was a kids menu but we got the fish and chips for our kids to split, they are it up except for a few of the delicious sweet potato chips I stole(we ordered a second batch of chips to go for the hotel room later). Hubby and I each did two«light bights» and couldn’t stop eating but still shared w the kids and left full. I did tuna nachos(4 big crispy/airy«tortilla» chips, each covered w raw tuna, which I’m not a huge fan of usually and some salsa and I think it was an edamame drizzle) and they were FANTASTIC. I’m not scared of sushi but nor do I ever crave it but this was truly delicious w/o anything too«fishy» tasting. I also got the BBQ shrimp as my main dish. There were only about 8 medium shrimp for $ 15 so again I wasn’t sold on first sight but they really filled me up. The sauce was milder and lighter than the sauce I’m used to in New Orleans but you could particularly taste the zing in the ample slices of toasted bread for dipping. The shrimp were pre-peeled except for the tails which was not necessary for me but still a nice surprise. Hubby got grouper«bights» that came w remoulade that were tasty and crab Mac n cheese. That was good as well but I’m still a Kraft Mac n cheese purist(and Cochon’s version in NOLA is to die for) despite liking other fun and fancy food, I don’t get the new fancy Mac n cheese everything trends, though this was still really good. Wine and beer also offered nice assortment. Views were pretty of the marina for sure and I’m a huge fan of this place. I’m not sure it’s the best place for sunset as you can barely see the bay through the marina. I’d stay at The Grand if I just want the sunset view but the food and service were better here with still a pretty view. We will certainly be back!

Went here on vacation, and I’m very happy we found this restaurant on Unilocal.I ordered the seafood stew, and boy was it good! I do forget what everyone else had, but all I can say is that were were all very happy. We ate on the patio in the back which overlooks the water and boats, which was very nice. I enjoyed our service and would return if given the chance.

We just moved here, it’s a wonderful way to start restaurant adventure! food– no words! Can’t talk about anything since arrive in front of me ! Muscle and burger is what we have for tonight, my hubby is not a seafood person, and the burger seems the only way to go for him, but guess what, he love it! It’s full of taste! And my muscle meal~~~~~~~~ it’s so delicious ! Not too salty, and also creamy, rich, I drunk the whole soup! location — beautiful relax sunset spot !! Our waitress is ok, one of the reason is lose a star, but it’s nothing can change my mood. Have to visit again !

This place is awesome!!! It really deserves 5 stars but because it’s so casual & relaxed I’ll give it 2! We stopped for lunch & the phenomenal menu made it hard for all 6 of us to order! Everything was delicious! The Sunset Pointe salad with fresh tuna, the tuna BLT, the fresh grouper sandwhich, the lettuce wraps & the grouper bights… all amazing! We loved it! It sits right in the water surrounded by a marina full of boats. I’m positive the sunsets are to die for!!!

Went to this restaurant for the first time on Valentines Day. I really enjoyed it and will be returning. The prices were very reasonable with large portion sizes and the meal was delicious. The view of the marina was lovely. I would love to come back in the summer time to sit outside with the fire pits.

We stopped for lunch today. The outside seating was enclosed with heaters and nice for a chilly January day. The music was perfect for our day off, early-mid 70’s Classic Rock. Crab Mac and cheese BBQ shrimp Grilled Cole slaw Sweet potato chips Bread pudding Would order all of this again, really great! Our server, Jay was excellent as well An overall great first-time experience.

Chef Pete, you are killin’ it. Since the wait was too long at another local establishment, we chose to come out to Sunset Pointe though it was less sunset and more dreary day. Lovely landscaping and a welcoming interior with a nice outdoor area looking out over the marina. We were seated at a taller table, and immediately greeted by our wonderful server. Would’ve loved to partake in their libation menu but was driving home, so requested a water. Their ice, as trivial as this sounds, is that great Sonic ice that I love so much! Bless you for using the regional fare and creating unique, flavorful dishes that aren’t just carbon copies of what others have on their menu. I wanted so many things on this menu but tried to curb my need to order EVERYTHING. No, bights isn’t spelled wrong. Read the description and then get yo’self some bights. For our small bights, we ordered the Kamikaze Chicken and Crab Mac ‘n Cheese. Y’all…this chicken. Glazed in a soy lime jalapeño with sesame seeds. Not overly bread, perfectly cooked and covered in this delicious not-too-spicy sauce. The Crab Mac ‘n Cheese was deliciously decadent with fresh blue crab meat, serpentini pasta, cream sauce, pecorino romano, and crunchy Panko topping. We had to save some of the mac to take home to save room for our bigger bights. I enjoyed the Seared Tuna«BLT» with a side of homemade slaw. The slaw is just like what I make at home; no mayo or extra calories, just fresh cabbage, peppers, and onions. The sandwich comes on über-fresh Ciabatta bread(tastes like they make it in-house or get fresh daily) with crunchy bacon, light lemon aioli, lettuce, tomato, and seared rare tuna(a deep pink that you know is fresh). My compadre had the Eastern Shore Bouillabaisse with a cornucopia of fresh seafood swimming in this delicious light broth. Her mussels were ‘uge like little teacups to scoop into the broth though the bread is great too for soaking up all this good good. As if that was enough, we splurged and ordered the bread pudding that came out in two little portions topped with fresh pineapple with a side of homemade whip cream. Good thing I wore my stretchy pants that day. I would LOVE to come back on a beautiful afternoon to enjoy even more of this menu and the sunset. The bar looked to have some great local brews, and there were TVs to catch the game. And if you’re über enamored with them, they’ve got a little store to buy some Sunset Pointe paraphernalia to take home. See you next time I come to Fairhope!

Overall, this Sunset Pointe is probably the best of the best. It has the best view, and some of the best food and service. It’s top notch from A to Z. We went on a rainy Sunday and sat inside. I had to do a walk-thru of the patio. It was so gorgeous. There were picnic tables, and even a few chairs and a fire pit, overlooking the sailboats docked in the marina. Hollywood couldn’t create a more perfect location. We chose to sit inside due to the weather, but no worries, there were huge windows all across the front and side of the dining area and bar. The bar had a few tvs, and I was thinking to myself it would be a great place to catch the game. The food — WOW! We started with the Kamikaze Chicken and Crab Macaroni and Cheese and we knew we were in the right place after the first bites. For my entrée, I ordered the Eastern Shore Bouillabaisse, which was mussels, shrimp, fish, tomatoes, onions and spices in a white wine seafood sauce. It was absolutely incredible! Although we were stuffed, we had to finish off with a little bread pudding, because I can’t say«no» to bread pudding. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The prices were average for the quality of food. The service was exceptional. Sunset Pointe is the perfect laid back coastal restaurant.

My wife and I found this restaurant completely by accident. It is located on Mobile Bay in Fairhope. There is dockage for boats for dining! The building it self looks like many Fairhope houses, board and baton siding and wood shutters. Located just outside fly creek marina it has a great water view and lots of outside seating for waiting and dining. The drink menu and bar are well stocked and ready to set you up if you have to wait for a table. The menu is not extensive but I have to say there is nothing on it that I would not want to try! Our waitress Grace was phenomenal. She took our drink order and told us about the specials. We ordered two appetizers, as this was our first time there. The south Mediterranean tuna crudo is my new favorite food! It is a must try! My wife ordered the eastern shore bouillabaisse and it is out of this world. Our main courses were the fried grouper sandwich and the snapper special. Both were a huge hit. Fresh, well cooked and very tasty! We tried the blueberry bread pudding for desert and it as well was a home run! Overall this place is a 5 star experience in my book. From the décor to the waitstaff to the food this place is a must visit!!!
