Came in to exchanged some of grandpas old games for games the kids could play. They were very nice and even helped my little people pick. I feel like our total should have been a couple dollars more than what they offered for the games we turned in, but after ringing out they said we were even. My little dudes where pumped we had money left for ice cream.

The dream of the ‘90s is alive in Fairview Heights. Maybe that isn’t completely accurate. I’m not sure if you can put a bird on something and call it art in Fairview Heights, but you can sell your used CDs at Slackers. I’ve never tried to sell anything here, but a trip to Slackers takes me back to the ‘90s and back to the days when I spent countless hours at places like Camelot and Sam Goody. At Slackers, you’ll find CDs, DVDs, Nintendo games. .. and more. You’ll probably also find yourself feeling Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Like a chump(hey) Why? Because if you had waited 16 years, you wouldn’t have spent 20ish dollars on Limp Bizkit’s Significant Other. That’s right. You could have gotten a used copy of Mr. Durst’s CD for much, much less. You would not have even needed to wait more than a decade. The beauty of buying used items is that you’ll save money on other people’s questionable decisions. Yay! So, why does this location get five stars from me? I was impressed with the employees here on my most recent visit. They had to deal with a very difficult customer, and they handled it extraordinarily well. Even when the customer cursed and called them names, the employees kept their cool. As a young person, I might go to Fairview Heights to retire. I gave up clowning years ago, but I might just get back into it.
