OK. Fall River isn’t the Boston Financial District. Beer prices are not listed here, and through the years I didn’t have an issue. Today, I had 2 «big»(as in ABV), and the tab was $ 22. These beers or equivalents are half the cost at craft beer bars up the road in Pawtucket. There really isn’t any excuse for charging these prices. Maybe that’s why there are no prices on the beer menu. Very disappointing.

Went there with the wife on an early Saturday night. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but appearances can be deceiving. I really enjoyed my experience there. The draft beer menu is outstanding! We ordered the onion rings 1st. They were great! I got the breakfast burger and my wife got the chicken Mozambique. Both were very, very good. I look forward to going back

Craft Beer Craziness This review is just based on drinking. Food was not ordered. This place is a small beer bar restaurant in a strip mall. As you could guess from my review title, the place has an extraordinary draft craft beer selection. I go out a lot and the craft beer craze is in full force in the New England area. This bar has what might be the best beer selection I have ever scene. Beer from all over the country, super small batch barrels that I didn’t even think you could get, and a few foreign selections as well. Tip: They even have a few cheap brands and light beer for the non enthusiasts. The bartender treated very well and was informative about all of the brands that we asked about, very impressive. You can tell the place takes a lot of pride in their beer assortment. Any trip we take to Fall River will include a stop at The Battleship. Thanks

My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Danielle was an excellent server. She was super nice, professional, made suggestions and checked in on us periodically. Never did a glass go completely empty. The food was really good. I really enjoyed the Portuguese steak. My wife loved her spinach/mushroom/goat cheese pizza. We will definitely be back.

Very good for the money but, staff was very, very slow on a dead night… but willing to give it another shot when other places are too packed to have people.

Me and the mrs were looking to try something different but local. This place came up with good reviews on Unilocal. We checked out the menu on their website and I personally found two items I was real excited to try. She wasn’t as excited but decided to try it anyway… How the tables turned. Upon arriving, I noticed not one, but BOTH items I was excited to try were not on the menu… Extremely disappointing. I settled on the steak tips while she got fish and chips. She received a large piece of fish, cooked perfectly and enjoyed t quite a bit. My steak tips were the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not even saying that to be mean or exaggerate… They were, in fact, the worst. VERY chewy, the meat didn’t have a good flavor and the citrus chipotle sauce that was smothered way too heavily over the meat was nothing specular. I tried several pieces of the tips and they were all the same. I really enjoyed my side of carrots though! I was surprised that the waitress didn’t ask if there was a problem as she took my plate that was thou roughly cleaned besides the barely touched steak… Especially after I refused a box… But I won’t hold that against her. Nice beer menu, nice cocktail menu, quaint nice place… But, the steak tips are historically bad.

The food is top notch. Recommend this eatery to anyone. Had salad and grilled salmon with delicious dressing. The whole meal was very very good. Had banana beer which is not everywhere but have it here. Give it a try, it’s a very good beer. The waitress was very nice, did take some time for her to return with the entrée and the bill but the food is worth the wait.

I love the boneless wings here. Always delivered the way I like them. Light batter and fresh. No previously frozen yuk here. Just fresh delicious faire at great prices. 10⁄10 would recommend.

Battleship Brewhouse is a frequent stop for us especially on a Sunday during football season. There is a nice bar and plenty of televisions in the bar and dining area to view multiple games. Probably one of the best offerings of craft beers on tap in the area, I am almost always able to have two or three that I have never tried before. They also have quite an array of bottles though I have never strayed from the drafts to be able to comment. The menu is also very interesting. I can have the Grilled Asian Chicken Salad if I am interested in budgeting space for an extra draft or I can move onto the delicious Pepperberry Mahi Mahi or Citrus Chipotle Steak Tips. There is also a good selection of appetizers. We have not ventured much past the Boneless Dragon Wings or the Littlenecks though. I cannot review the desserts since I tend to have a heavier, stronger, sipping beer instead to finish. Service had been pretty good especially on Sunday’s considering there can be one waitress working during the slow hours. She has always been cheerful despite how much she was multitasking. My one complaint is that on any given visit I can see crossed out beers on the menu, meaning both that I likely missed something really good, and that they go through them quickly.

Went to Battleship Brewhouse with some friends to grab a beer and some dinner. The food was good(especially the chili), and so was the beer. Where this restaurant falls short was the service. Our waitress(never did get her name) came by infrequently and seemed to forget our order once. The kitchen took a really long time to get the food to the table. Fortunately we weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal, but it was noticeable. I would give the restaurant a second chance, but two strikes would be enough for me.

I’d give them 5 stars if the food was a little bit better. The food is about average. It’s not bad at all, but not excellent. The real reason to come is here is the awesome cozy atmosphere, live music, and most of all the awesome beer selection. They always have amazing beers on draft.

Been here a couple of times. Most recent trip here was for a quick takeout… I went with the California burger w/fries. Burger has avacados on it, delicious flavor. Fresh and good quality ingredients used. Fries was good as well. Small place, but is cool for sure. Their small bar does offer a large variety of beer. Overall, good place. I will continue visiting here for food. Enjoy. Cheers!

Best local place to go to when all you want is good home cooked food that can be paired with my different choices of beers

Battleship has definitely improved. We were regulars here a year ago but stopped coming due to flat beer and bad service. Tonight, the staff of Battleship, specifically Tim surpassed our expectations. The new menu has great selections. I actually couldn’t decide on what I wanted because the so many of the new selections looked good. I ordered the Dragon winds and they were great, sweet with the perfect spice. The pizza was good, although not a flat bread, was a great combination of apples bacon and maple. The food has definitely improved, the service is by far better than our last visit and the beer, well that has always been spot on. If you like good food and craft beer, so here.

I went to Battleship Brewhouse for lunch with my sister on a Sunday– we probably got there right as they were opening. The place was empty except for someone sitting at the bar. Immediately I liked the décor and all the different beer taps decorating the walls behind the bar. I could overlook the slanted floors. I asked the waitress for a beer recommendation for both of us. I told her I liked anything, really, and my sister preferred lighter beer that wasn’t too bitter. She recommended different beers for both of us and we agreed to those… She then brought us two glasses of Tuckerman’s Pale Ale(the recommendation for my sister). The beer was good, but I am still not sure why she didn’t bring me what I actually ordered. Especially since she recommended it in the first place. To eat my sister got the bacon chicken ranch quesadilla and loved it. I ordered the Philly steak bomb flatbread. It was way more food than I was expecting, and also way more bread. I’d call it more of a pizza than a flatbread. But it did taste great, and I had plenty of leftovers to bring home for the fiancée. Although our waitress checked in often, it took a really long time to get our food. In fact, a second bar patron arrived after us, got his meal, and finished eating before our food even arrived. Considering there were 4 people in the whole restaurant, I was surprised by the long wait. I will definitely try Battleship Brewhouse again, and I am torn between 3&4 stars based on the service. I’ll stick with average for now now– hopefully my next experience will be a little bit better.

My mother is very picky when it comes to what she likes for food. Meaning, she doesn’t like anything. Growing up in an irish household, I am considered a freak because I like hot sauce. So if you can please my mother, you deserve ten or fifteen stars. No. Seriously. I give you a hundred stars. She couldn’t find anything wrong with her food. She ALWAYS finds something wrong with her food, because she hates anything with flavor. I got the stuffed eggplant parm, because, as always, there were limited vegetarian options on the menu. But that doesn’t bother me at all. What bothers me is when there are NO vegetarian options. The eggplant was delicious. It was smaller inside the retaurant than what I expected, and it’s a shame regarding the location because you would have to beat me away with a stick if they were on the water. I will most definitely return.

After seeing Laura B.‘s review I knew we were going to have to give this place a try. It took a bit, but we finally got here. My husband is a home brewer that loves craft beer. There are 20 craft beers on draft and more in bottles. He was a happy camper. Much to his disappointment, I don’t drink beer, but my margarita was tasty. Chourico cakes? Hell yes. What diet? They were tasty and had plenty of chourico. The boneless buffalo wings weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they were pretty good. My husband had the mushroom burger and gave it a thumbs up. He really enjoyed the sweet potato fries he had as a side. I had the blue cheese burger and enjoyed it, but wish it had been real blue cheese and not just blue cheese dressing. The regular fries were good. Service was great, prices were reasonable, I like the décor and they have a really interesting menu, a mix of pub food and Portuguese items. We’ll be back.

I’m such a fool. I’ve lived up the hill from Battleship Brewhouse since it opened and I’ve never been to visit until this past month. My husband and I tried visiting once on a Saturday night a few weeks ago and weren’t in the mood for live music(there was a band playing right in the doorway) so we left, but thankfully we made it back in last week and everything about the experience was fantastic. We couldn’t stay too long due to family commitments, but the Battleship Brewhouse is now my go-to place for a beer after«one of those days» at work. Their menu is an eclectic mix of traditional bar food and Portuguese cuisine and the next time I visit I fully intend to see how their chorico and chips stands up next to all the other restaurants in the city serving up the same thing. We ordered hot wings and southwestern rolls, both of which were excellent. It’s great that the food here is decent but if you have no interest in eating, the Brewhouse is still where you need to be to get a great beer in Fall River. My husband got a beer flight and I got a blueberry beer and left wanting to try the whole selection. Shandys, IPAs, hefes, they have a huge selection of microbrews here that you probably wouldn’t even be able to find in Providence. While the facility is a bit small it’s well decorated and the staff is friendly. Will definitely be back soon to relax and have another brew.
