Best customer service. The way a business should be run. Placed an order and a mistake was made with the pick up date. They were super apologetic and delivered my order to my house, which is over 20 miles away, later that same day without any questions asked. Will definitely keep doing business with them!

Showed up today on a Sunday and one other guy was standing outside with his 4 yr old kid in the heavy rain getting drenched and me driving over 30 miles and they have a closed sign at 3:30(no holiday either). Don’t waste your time or money on gas to go to this place. They obviously don’t care about customers.

This place saved me! I went to three other places first looking for cupcakes and found dukes while driving by on Columbia street. The girl helped put together a nice last minute cupcake box and a bag of assorted homemade cookies. They were a gift so unfortunately I didn’t try them but from what I heard they were so good! I will definitely go to dukes next time I need sweets!

So yes, it is great to have a bakery in the Fall River area that caters to restricted diets, and with a wide variety of products. That being said… Customer service is terrible. When I arrived, no one in front of store, but that was okay because I was browsing. When someone did come, she had attitude of «what do you want?» I decided to try the cold brewed coffee, because at $ 1.79(what the sign said), why not? She didn’t even ask me how I take my coffee and just made it mostly coconut milk with a splash of coffee. When I asked her to add some more coffee to darken it, she added a tiny splash. As I checked out, she said it would be $ 4 — $ 3 for coffee, $ 1 for GF roll I got. I told her their sign said $ 1.79, but she just said, «nope, that’s $ 3.» I was not yet caffeinated and therefore had no energy to fight it. In any case, worth drive to Providence or elsewhere for your specialty goods and better service.

My husband and I stopped in for a GF snack and actually to ask advice on where to eat(we are both celiac) but were so happy to see they offered food too! We ended up ordering lunch– it was FABULOUS! Everything was heated up piping hot and we had a delicious Organic fair trade coffee with almond milk while we waited. The Spinach Pie and the Macaroni & Cheese alone will have us driving the hour plus just for another taste! The kale soup was a delight! We also ordered baked goods to try at home– love that they offer Paleo and use high quality ingredients. We will be back soon!

This bakery is truly a lifesaver. Completely gluten free and they really know what they’re doing! All of their products are so fantastic that my family members who are not gluten free frequent this spot as well to grab the best treats around. Not only do they have tons of different sweets but calzones, pizza, stuffed quahogs, soup, chicken pies, the list is truly endless. If you have a gluten intolerance or celiac disease definitely check this place out. Even if you don’t have a gluten problem check this place out I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

What a treat for my kids and I to go into a bakery and be able to eat ANYTHING we want. And an extra bonus… it’s all delicious. Not only gluten free, but they also have grain free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free and artificial due free! They are passionate about their products and their belief that good clean food will protect your health. Vet friendly and reasonable priced. They also have GF clam chowder and a calzones!!! Go for lunch and stay for dessert!!! Yum! So grateful that I stumbled on Dukes during our trip to RI/MA!!!

Oh. My. God. So. Good. Having always been interested in checking out what this bakery had to offer, I figured the holiday season was as good as any to get my order in and see what this place was all about.. . and boy am I glad I did. Looking for a special dessert to impress at my parent’s dinner spread, I ultimately chose a multi-fruit cheesecake complete with fresh blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple sections. By sections, I mean ridiculously large wedges of rich, velvety, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. I fell in love with the first bite.. . then the second.. . and the third.. . The graham cracker crust added a perfect crumble and contrast to the smooth and silky filling. Oh, and get this.. . GLUTEN-FREE! This bakery’s mission? «To provide the allergy sensitive community with delicious baked goods.» Although diet/allergy restrictions do not afflict I or anyone close to me, my background as a nurse has proven to me the difficulty those affected by certain diseases, conditions, and allergens have in following guidelines such as gluten-free recommendations. Imagine having to scrutinize everything you eat in order to avoid wheats, barleys, ryes, and anything that could possibly include these grains including beers, breads, cakes, pies, candies, cookies, and every other scrumptious thing on this planet. Duke’s Bakery offers a nice variety of 100% gluten-free treats. In addition, they create grain, refined sugar, soy, casein, and artificial dye-free confections as well. A cursory glance of their products range from pies, tarts, cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and cookies. I can’t wait to try out some of their other products and am excited to pass the word along for not only those with special dietary needs but for anyone in general! So delicious!

Ok, I Understand & Like The Fact That There Need’s to Be a Place or Bakery for Those Who Enjoy Or Need to Consume«Gluten-Free» Items, Cakes, pastry’s ect. And I Applaud The Fact That Fall River Has It’s First of a kind Bakery that does that. Unfortunately, I think The Cakes Are Very«Bland» & Not that Appetizing and Are Small. Especially, for a $ 40 Cake?! Really? I’ve bought Cakes for Half That Price That Would Put This Place to «Shame!» Nice Concept, But Ridiculously«Overrated» & «Over-priced», Especially for Those Budget-Minded Folks Who Live in Fall River. Sorry, But We’re a Poor working-Class City Struggling to make ends meet. We don’t get Alot of Boston Or Newport«Clientele» around Here Ladies. Although you may be «One of a Kind» for a reason to Serve Those Who Seek A «Gluten-Free» Alternative, There Are Much BETTER, and Reasonably-Priced Bakeries(Like Leddy’s) In The City of Fall River to be found.
