The food is delicious. The only complaint I have is thid pizza is not meant for leftovers. After about 45 minutes the pizza becomes hard and rubbery. You have to finish it off while it’s still fresh.

Grabbed a small pepperoni last night. It was hot and fresh and ready when I picked it up. Got it home and couldn’t stop eating it! Perfect crust. Great sauce. Lots of pepperoni. Hit the spot!

Very good pizza, have gone here for years and I am always very satisfied. My only issue with this place is they do not accept Debit/Credit card, it is CASHONLY. There is an ATM across the street at Tedeschi’s, however that is still kind of inconvenient. For me at least, I never carry cash on me.

Took a chance on the way to Rhode Island with friends in from England. ‘Great’ pizza and wonderful people! Next time will also try the Greek Salad that looked great. Go!

I’m normally the only person in my family that enjoys any sort of onion pizza, and since we’ve moved to Southern Rhode Island, I’ve tried onion pizza from just about every place local. My wife and son always give it a try and they never really like it, and I’ve been really disappointed as well. We went to Highland pizza a few weeks ago, and after walking in, I suspiciously eyed up the young man all dressed in white behind the counter. Would he make the onion pizza like I remembered it from so many years ago? I took a huge risk in convincing my family to give the onion pizza a try, and at first, they were all less than enthusiastic. «Here goes dad on his onion pizza kick again,» my son said. Well, we only had enough cash for one pizza, so I took the risk and ordered the onion. When it was ready, I immediately recognized the distinct Highland slightly sweet and savory smell from pizzas that had long ago been eaten. Clearly the young pizza chef garbed in white was a master, and Highland’s onion pizza has remained primarily unchanged from years ago. «Nobody makes the onion pizza like Highland,» I said. Both my wife and son absolutely loved it and now it’s one of their favorites. At least now they understand why I like the onion so much and my young son realizes that all other onion pizzas he’s had certainly pale in comparison to Highland’s. The only real drawback to the place is they don’t accept credit cards. All these years they’ve remained in business without taking credit cards, they must be doing something right. And they certainly are.

This is the best pizza in the city hands down. It’s always been my favorite. Their grinders are great too.

Grew up on their chourico pizzas and Greek salad. The best! Pizza is cheesy, greasy, and delicious just how I remember!

Great old school pizzeria. Probably one of the last mom and pop joint to get good pizza in the city. Price is great, food is always hot and fresh, never an issue. Only wish they accepted credit cards and delivered.

Best pizza in the city! The tuna salad is also awesome and they are the cheapest and freshest salads. I would have given five stars if they delivers but since they don’t only four stars

What can I say, the closest pizzeria near my old house. This pizzeria been here for quite a while and still to this day their pizzas are yummy. The staff seems like they’re in a hurry or something, but as long as you know what you’re going to order they cool.

Pizza here is the best we had in a long time. Service is ok. Also had the chicken parm. grinder here, was simply ok. Just an fyi there is no fryolator here, they do NOT deliver, and they do not accept credit cards… cash only. Overall decent place, their pizza is really what makes it shine here.

I was visiting friends in Fall River and we decided to get delivery from Highland Pizza. Two pies… cheese and pepperoni. Delivery was prompt and the pizzas were still warm. Both had nice crispy crust that made a sound when I took a bite into them… The toppings were very nicely done, a bit salty for my taste, but nevertheless, tasty. This is a winner in the Fall River area.

I’ve been here several times just because it is a close walk. I’ve had the salads and turkey subs which were good. BUT I’ve got pizza from there twice and it was bad both times. Undercooked and soggy. Not to mention they screwed up the toppings I wanted. I had a friend order from there too, the same problem. Not the most friendly people working there to put it nicely. I guess I will just stick with salads, can’t really screw that up can we?

I’ve lived in Fall River my whole life, and always when there’s a celebration to be had or a pizza to be eaten, we go to Highland. It’s just family tradition. I have to say, though, if you haven’t been in a few years, don’t expect the same good service and generous helpings. They went under new management a few years back and, well, it’s never been the same. Still good(still very greasy) but it’s just not the same when your cheese isn’t thicker than the bread. Their crust is nice and crunchy, though, which I like. It’s all on taste preference, but if you like gooey, melty cheese like you would see in a cartoon, this is your place.

Best pizza in Fall River. We discovered this place by total accident when we moved to the area and have loved it since. Currently we are renovating our kitchen so you can imagine we are ordering allot of pizza and we have yet to get a bad pizza, sub or salad. It’s always ready when they say it will be and hot. Their extra cheese is fantastic.

I am absolutely in love with Highland pizza’s food! I think they have been great in maintaining quality and prices people can afford. The Greek salads, and pizza are perfect, and generous. The atmosphere is like a flashback to the 70’s but hey it works. I would have complimented the review with higher stars but the workers, or possibly owners are not the most sociable when ordering out, or calling in. Sometimes it takes way too long to even be noticed – they really need to work on their people skills. However, the food is the most important thing to me so whatever I’d try it if I were you! At least you will not be surprised when you get home and open the box — they do put toppings on their pizza!
