My personal favorite here is the steak salad(be sure to ask for well done if you aren’t a fan of rare steak). However, everything I have had here is amazing. Their house made ranch is the best I have ever had and I always ask for extra!

Fast and friendly service food is great I had the Reubens sandwich with salad is was to die for. Our server came quickly to get our drink order and our food practically came right after, I have been here before and my experience was good so I took my husband. He really liked his Taylor sanwhich. Came little after 2pm I assumed that way it would be been less busy, not bad.

Was disappointed when we were passing through town; was a good place when we lived there a few years back. Last time we ate there about 1 year okay, it was so-so. We went in on the evening of the 6th about 6pm, 80% of the tables were empty, but marked as reserved. We were told we would have to wait 15 – 20 minutes for a table. We asked when the other tables were expected to fill up, and it wasn’t for at least an hour! Don’t now how they stay in business without being able to manage reservations correctly? Wont go back, worth driving home to Reno for dinner.

Kinda expensive, but you get what you pay for. Very nice, upscale place. Their menu is pretty small, only 8 – 10 entrees, but they have refined each one down to an art and science.

Just spending the night on the way through this small town. Felt little confidence that I could find something fresh and delicious here, so I turned to Unilocal.Spotted this adorable place with great reviews. Service was great, and I was WOWED by the food! And I have to admitt I’m a bit of a food snob. Delicious… my only wish is that my burger was a little more rare. But im their defence, I didn’t ask.

One of Fallon’s hidden gems. Great food and a menu with lots of healthy options. The Christo probably isn’t the healthiest item I’ve ever eaten, but it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back. The service is on point as well. We showed up shortly before closing. They were extremely friendly and stayed open a few extra minutes just for us.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Fallon. Great bar with a good selection of local craft brews on tap. Every time I come here there is a new special. Not only do they use top quality ingredients, but they prepare them wonderfully. I had the blackened snapper there last Saturday night with a side of tender little baby turnips. The lamb riblette appetizer and shrimps pan fried in garlic, olive oil and chilis were especially delicious.

Great place to have lunch! They have great food and daily specials. Service is great and even though they’re really busy every time we go there we still get seated and our food in reasonable time. Place has a great atmosphere and is always clean.

Just a little confused, ordered a French Dip today. Was charged almost $ 15. For a Frnch Dip and Fries. What? I was stunned, if I had been thinking, I would have said no. Nothing fancy about the sandwich at all. $ 15. Wow. I love this restaurant and it’s owner’s, but that is just unreal.

This is one of the best places to eat in Fallon. The Porch has great food, after going regularly the menu options start to look minimal but still delicious. The restaurant itself is small so it can get loud but this is a great restaurant!

Came today for Sharon’s birthday. What a beautiful time. This place is the GEM of Fallon. We had the roasted beef melt on Dutch crust, the monte cristo and the Rockwell. Oh yes, chocolate sundae for the birthday girl. Relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Great food and fantastic service. A wonderful time had by all. See you after the holidays for another day of celebration with the friends

Stopped here for a business lunch while in Fallon, based on Unilocal reviews. This place was excellent! I had the spinach salad and it was great. Everyone else ordered the half sandwich meal that came with a side. No one had a crumb left on their plates. Service was excellent, and our drinks were never empty. Makes me look forward to a trip to Fallon in the future. :)

I was in Fallon to get my car serviced at the dealership, and my fellow Unilocalers helped me to select a great spot for a quick lunch. I was there four minutes after 11(when they open), and there were already three other parties in the room, that’s always a good sign. They had an interesting special on the chalkboard, but opted for the Rueben, and I was not disappointed. I had a choice of sides, but the Rueben called for a salad side, and the waitress suggested the house poppy seed dressing. I’ve learned that when the waitress makes a suggestion, it’s good to listen, and so I did. There service was good, and there was a lot of it. The place is about the same size as an In-N-Out, but they were prepared for the lunch rush with plenty of help. I was never without water, the help was thorough, friendly and efficient. In a nutshell, when I go to Fallon, NV again, this will be on my list.

You can’t go wrong at the Slanted Porch, easily Fallon’s best restaurant. The Pinion on Dutch Crunch is ridiculous. Do go there. Do order that.

Expensive for the area, food is good and would go back. Did dinner and enjoyed it but the tab can add up quick, so be ready.

Lamb burger for lunch today was outstanding. Like a nice big bite of the Mediterranean on a bun. Pleasant service and nice surroundings. Some might beef about the price but for the quality plus size of serving it was reasonable. Two solid thumbs up and plan to return on future trips.

Had dinner here tonight. It was very busy but we were able to get a seat out on the porch. We were waited on by Jennifer, who’s the sister of the owner of the place. Very inviting looking ambience. We had the prime rib special and the filet mignon. Both were prepared perfectly along with the steamed vegetables that a company both. The steak fries were done very nicely, with a good blue cheese flavor. The bacon mac & cheese side was to die for! It was very, very good. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée. I like getting crème brûlée whenever a restaurant has it, so I can see how well they can prepare it. This restaurant did it very, very well, with great texture, proper temperature, and nice thin crispy sugar crust. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this restaurant!

Love the Slanted Porch! Whenever we are in Fallon and we ask my mother in law where she wants us to take her for lunch, it’s always the Slanted Porch. And I am always happy to oblige! The food is all fresh and homemade and delicious. They have a decent wine list(don’t judge, we drink wine at lunch on vacation!) and seriously amazing food.

Thanks to some awesome fellow Unilocalers, I had lunch at this Absolutely adorable little house/café/hot spot in Fallon Nevada.(who knew?). I knew I was in the right place when I saw the parking lot full of cars~ Always a good sign. I felt like I was visiting my grandma’s house for a home-cooked meal. Except I was surrounded by military flight suits. No Maverick or Goose sightings though. Darn it! Fresh locally grown delicious food and wonderful, friendly warm service make this a great choice if you live in or need to travel through Fallon. I ordered the half and half combination with the soup and sandwich option. The soup of the day, Potato bacon was not too thick, almost brothy, the smooth, fresh flavors of the potato, leeks, and the not too salty bacon left me scraping my bowl. It was a nice lighter version of potato soup, perfect for a summer lunch. I also had the ½ Stillwater Sandwich, a garlic lemon chicken salad sandwich with toasted sourdough. This was delicious and different than most chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had. The brownie! or Fudge! or brownie? … oh whatever it was it was house-made and absolutely decadent! it was so rich, moist and dense, I really had a hard time finally deciding that this was in fact a brownie. The fifth star was given for the wonderful service I got throughout my visit, from the seating host to the table service and particularly for when I got my check and found the owner’s business card attached. I’ve never seen a restaurant owner do that. That is impressive… What a great, easy gesture to make sure I know my business is important to them. I’m happy to know I have a place I can feel great about taking my Fallon Clients to lunch, dinner or drinks.

Wonderful, fresh, well prepared food. An oasis of food after a long trip across The Loneliest Highway in America, which has, shall we say, limited food choices. Salad were great, I particularly enjoyed the triple play with Chicken salad, Tuna salad and a scoop of Egg salad. The dressing was homemade, really good. Not for nothing, but I wasn’t complaining about all the cute Navy pilots dining there in uniform. :)
