This is more of a take-out joint and not really a café, since the only seating is outside at two tiny tables. I wasn’t terribly impressed with the interior and I even hesitated to order. But I strongly desired to try a new place. I ordered the Banh Mi Ga(or chicken sandwich) for $ 3. The guy pulls out a long slender baguette. Already it’s looking good. Some preparation goes on behind the counter, all the while thinking… why does it always take so long to make a Banh Mi sandwich? It seems like it should be much quicker. I’m entertained though by looking at the array of foods on the buffet cart. Later when I have the chance to sit down and eat, I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the Banh Mi tasted. I’m not sure if the chicken was grilled but it did have a sweet and peppery, crispy texture. It was delicious. It’s located INSIDE Eden Center and is only accessible through the inside hallway, which I didn’t even know existed. At any rate this place could be more inviting, both personally and decoratively. For my first experience I can say the food was definitely better than the place looked.
