Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Clean and fast. Love the burgers here over most any place. Fries were slightly soggy and cool. Peanuts are awesome.

Burgers were on-​point as far as Five Guys burgers go. I usually get a little hamburger with lettuce, tomato, sauteed and fresh onion, bbq and hot sauce. No complaints. I’ve always loved their buns — soft and do not fall apart.
The fries were not as delicious as usual. I like it to be slightly greasy and a little soft. These were ok. For some reason just didn’t hit the spot like usual. But we did get a lot of fries for the regular size.
Service was fine, nothing extraordinary. Just there. The store is clean. Took about 10 minutes to get our order.

This is our staple burger place. Just as good as the gourmet places and awesome fries. And peanuts to boot!

Food is fine. It seems everytime I go they are blasting Led Zepplin and the like. Not sure if that is dining music. There has been research into that sort of thing and it suggests it is not good for digestion and well maybe that music is not good for anything (haha)

Where did all the fries go?!
Used to get a half bag of extra greasy extra yummy fries. Now only a small cup for the same price.
Yeah the burger is still good but you can get a good burger anywhere, there is no longer a draw to this place and not worth going out of the way to go there.

5 guys is a necessity when you need a good burger in the NOVA area. I was craving and this location was the closest to my house.
The process of ordering was quick and painless. It was a little busy when I went with my husband. We had placed our order, grabbed some peanuts to munch on and our drinks. Bonus, they have the drink machine where you can customize coke zero with other flavors like lime, cherry, vanilla, etc. Anyway, our food was up in about 5 – 10 minutes and it was piping hot and ready for my taste buds.
My only complaint for this place is the location. It is in a busy shopping center with tons of people walking around the parking lot not paying attention. It is almost like a game of frogger. So 5 points for the old lady.

This is a great 5 guys location — always clean — always good service — pretty fast — and great taste — sometimes seems a bit skimpy on the fries (or is that my imagination?). When you are there — a few doors down is the Great Wall supermarket — do not miss!

The food is great and the people are friendly

Went to just two fries on Sat lunch. Took them 20 mins to get my orders ready. Cuz staffs were chatting instead of preparing my food!!!

Despite all the burger places popping up left and right, Five Guys is still my go-​to place when I’m craving a burger on the east coast. Add a side of Cajun fries and call it a night because I’m in a food coma. Only thing is I wish they’d add onion rings to their menu.

This place always satisfies my burger cravings o absolutely love their burgers but their fries… not so much. Oh and the workers are extremely friendly and theyre always so happy I love it!

I came here at my parents’ request last week after a long time without eating at a Five Guys. I have to say, that after eating at Elevation Burger and Smashburger that my Five Guys experience left little to be desired. I’m not in love with their burgers and although the fries are tasty, I find that about 25% of them are overcooked… maybe that’s why they pile them on.
This location in particular is the closest to my house, but it’s not the most pleasant. The parking lot is always packed and the table for sitting outside are right next to some humming pipes.
Don’t really understand the Five Guys hype but to each his own I guess.

This Five Guys is what I would expect from a place. The burgers are fresh, yes, they are greasy and are loaded with all of the toppings that you want. This is a little secluded compared to the other Five Guys I’ve been to however, it helps with the crazy lines that you’re bound to see at other Five Guys. This is a more expensive meal (assuming you’re eating, the burger, fries, and a drink). I love the place and think it’s much better than the ridiculously over — hyped In n Out. I don’t come here too often but when i go to a Five Guys it’s a good experience.

The burgers are good but the prices are a little high. I’ve been in a few times and have never had an issue. The fries are tasty and don’t have tons of salt. The inside seating area isn’t huge so it can get a little crowded on the weekends. They do have an outside seating area.
Parking is limited near the entrance as it is a very busy shopping center.

Why is it that every time I visit a Five Guys I feel as though I’m in a truck stop? Must be part of that minimal, kind of retro but not really feel. And even though this location has a giant parking lot it always seems to be full. Like a… truck stop?
Five Guys serves up a decent burger, certainly better than the other fast food chains. And their fries are great with vinegar (appreciate they have that available) if not incredibly greasy and salt. The peanuts are a nice touch. And I do like seeing where my potatoes are from, although admittedly if they aren’t from somewhere in Idaho I am a bit disappointed. And for $ 4 and change for a small cheeseburger I don’t think it’s a deal.
Especially when there’s IN-​N-​OUT to compare, which is a far superior burger and way cheaper. Sorry, Five Guys, you will never be IN-​N-​OUT. And until they open a franchise out east I will have to settle for 2^nd best fast-​food. Just like the Mexican food, this coast disappoints me every time. #California 4EVA.

Food gets a five star. However, the service and health code violation gets a zero star and I will never return.
I love five guys. However, I came here on 3÷24÷14 at 8:15pm. I ordered my usual burger, but instead of looking at my phone, I watched them cook the food out of boredom. I stood at the counter and watched as the cook pried apart raw hamburger meat with his plastic gloves and put them on the grill. So far, so good. Then I watched him walk around the kitchen and touch handles to everything else such as the fries. Kind of gross, but still, fine.
Then I watched him put my finished burger on the spatula, carry it to my burger, and push it onto the bun with the same gloves he never changed. I was pretty disgusted, but I thought things like this can happen and I’ve eaten street food in foreign countries before.
As I was walking out, I saw him finish putting new hamburger meat on the grill and then touch hamburger buns. He never once changed his gloves. I brought it to the manager’s attention and he was defensive right away: «That would be a serious health code violation.» I agreed and explained what happened. They recooked my food and the cook changed gloves every time. I will not come back here.
Edit: I submitted a report of this health code violation to Arlington County. I also got a call from the district manager after I left a complaint through their customer service hotline. It seemed like there was no point for the call besides him saying that they take this very seriously.

This is a review about a Burger place. What else can you say other than its GOOD!
I’ll give you my secret combination.
5 guys always an awesome place to feast and munch.
I always get a couple of small cheese burgers with the following:
Grilled onions& mushrooms, Tomato, A1 sauce, lettuce, mayo
There now you know the secret combination :)
Oh and bag a fries for sure :)

I visit this 5 guys about once a month. I have never had anything but a great customer experience here. All employees are fast and friendly. Always clean and the employees genuinely seem to enjoy their work and customers.
The only negative is the parking lot. There is a Great Wall and Unique thrift shop that share the parking lot and it is always difficult to get a spot any time of day.

Maybe an east coast bias but Five Guys has never let me down on a good burger and fries. Don’t expect some fancy patty with pâté and other stuff, this is just real deal fresh meat, fresh bun and fresh veggies anyway you want it.
Fries — I always order Cajun so give it a try if you haven’t. So. Friggin. Good.

All I can say is Five Guys has good burgers. I think it is one of the very few fast food places where one go to to get a REAL burger — you know, one that looks and tastes like you made it at home and you don’t really question if its 100% real beef… and it hasn’t been sitting under a heat lamp for heaven knows how long. The service is good and generally the wait isn’t very long.
