It’s not brand new but cozy and friendly. I came here for a cultural lesson. They have some private rooms with recycle bins. Toilet is old but clean. It doesn’t seem that they have many books. Book selection: OK. Toilet: Clean. Parking: Free. Easy to find a spot. Location: Quiet area close to a shopping heaven!

Tyson’s library is fairly standard for a Fairfax County Public Library. It is outdated, but clean and has decent hours. There is a large parking lot, but it is not near the doors, which is inconvenient. Plenty of computers with fast internet to search the catalog and they offer self checkout. The people working here are not very friendly. They are not rude, but most of them either don’t speak English very well or have a bad attitude. The shelves are well organized, but many of the books are outdated or in poor condition. Quality of the books is a hard area to review because FCPL is a system and this one branch shares books with all the others. This location does not have a drive-up window like some of the others do.

This library is great when roping it into the Fairfax Library system — I can order almost any book I would like and it arrives through the book share program. Unfortunately I say«almost» as they only have about 70% of the books I am looking for available. But overall, this library is great, clean, organized, and helpful staff members if needed(most of the time I don’t speak to anyone, just pick up my books and scan myself out — easy as pie!)
