This library is about half a mile away from me, and it was really stuffy and old before the renovations. Now that the the renovations are done, it is a lot better. The library has meeting rooms you can reserve, couches, and a good amount of tables (with outlets!) where you can sit and do your work.
One of the problems with this place, which happened in the last 3 times I was there, was the amount of noise generated from people talking on their phones, «hanging out», or from kids which seemingly have free run of the place. I’d definitely like to see some old librarians going around hushing people.

Washington, DC
Pleasant library in an ethnic but comfy part of Falls Church. Free wifi, decent parking, good foreign section of magazines and books. Only problem is the little kids hog the computers playing their games.
