Everyone tends to go to the hot spot across the street, but when I did no one even bothered to say hi and it wasn’t even busy. So, with that said I came here three times and each time they were extremely helpful. Their chocolates are great, and they make their own waffle cones too which really impressed me. The store is extremely clean, bright, and organized. Go for the peanut butter cups, you’ll never want a Reese’s again. And the sugar free espresso creams are just plain amazing. Oh, and I didn’t even bother buying anything from across the street simply based on the fact that they weren’t friendly. For a small town like this, customer service goes a long way. Happy I found this place!

Cute little candy shop! First found it during the Falmouth fair– bought a few cherry cordials they were delicious! We returned last week while on vacation and got ice cream which was awesome as well. I was disappointed with the cherry cordials I got this time– they seemed old, no liquid in center, just crunchy stuff and the cherry was hard as a rock. I guess before buying a pound like I did, you should ask to try one of them to make sure they are fresh.

Lemme sum up: Clean and bright, great selection of hard candy, chocolates, and ice cream, cards and gifts available I stopped in at Ghelfi’s while looking for something to bring home for a friend. The store is bright and inviting, and the layout lends itself to browsing. Browse I did… and buy! Ghelfi’s had everything I needed. While there were pre-packaged gift bags, I preferred to mix and match from the bins. I picked up some lobster shaped barley sugar lollipops, beach pebble candy, and a small box of mixed truffles. I was also pleased that they had cards, so I could put it all together. One shop and done! The young man behind the counter was pleasant. He greeted me and offered to help but then allowed me to take my time. As he rung up the sale, he asked how I enjoyed my stay on the Cape and smiled. His service was a refreshing change from the usual disengaged summer hires. Ghelfi’s offered a good selection of «local» sweets along with traditional hard candies and chocolates. While there seemed to be no signature creations there, I did appreciate the fact that their stock was fresh. I’ll be sure to stop in next time and try the ice cream.

As you would expect of any candy store: great selection! But what you may not expect is also great ice cream! We admittedly stopped for both when we were here. Be sure to stop in if you’re doing the«walk around downtown Falmouth» like we did.

My parents brought us home candies from Gelfi’s candies of Cape Cod and they were absolutely delicious. What a treat!

I tired the raisin and rum ice cream in a chocolate waffle covered cone and I thought that the ice cream was way too sweet. When I tried it as a sample it tasted really good but once I had the whole cone it was just too much. It was pricey too $ 7.59 for one scoop. The store had a lot of other sweet goodies. I am sure Ghelfi’s is child’s paradise but for those of us who are trying to watch the calories it is probably not a good place to step into. If you do decide to try their ice cream. The outside street patio is very nice to sit and enjoy your temptation.

Oh my god! This vacation we were on a mission to find the best ice cream on the cape. Ok, so really it was just we like ice cream that much and there are so many places to try we had to come up with some excuse to eat so much. In my humble opinion this was by far the best ice cream we’ve had in Falmouth and possibly the best of the trip. Tried the Maple Walnut, peanut butter cup, chocolate chip caramel cookie dough and dirty sneakers. They were simply unreal. Creamy and smooth texture frozen to the perfect temperature. Every facet of this ice cream was perfect.

This is a school child’s paradise. Hand made truffles, fudge, taffy, chocolates in the shapes of tools, flowers, and other notions, ICECREAM, lots of flavors of ice cream and brightly colored candies overflowing from bins that line the wall. To be honest, it wasn’t too far from paradise for me, a papered grown up. The taffy is their recipe. It’s fresh but it’s made off site. The ice cream is good, not spectacular, a little too sweet for my liking but the right temperature to cool you down on a warm, muggy cape night. While I was a little sketched out by what seemed to be 11 year olds alternatively working the cash register and hucking webkinz/beanie babies at one another, the confections were reasonably priced and the service was good.
