Business practices less than transparent. We retained a designer at an hourly rate to help with paint colors. We very much enjoyed working with her, although her time was minimal(about 4 hrs). She suggested several painters and hardwood floor companies for estimates, but didn’t realize that their estimates — and eventual bills — were marked up by Simply Home by an additional 10−15% despite the fact that Simply Home played no role in project oversight or approving their final work. Essentially, Simply Home assumed a general contractor role without getting our approval, and without actually performing any of the duties of a GC. Also, they refused to provide us with copies of the actual painting Invoices(from the Painter) even after we paid the entire marked-up bill they sent us. The total mark-up on their subcontractors was approx. 5 –8 times as much as we paid for hourly designer consult. Advice: careful what«assistance» you accept, and demand full disclosure on hidden fees before you commit to any of their recommended contractors.

By far the rudest group of people I have ever met. Lisa and the owner Linda are aweful. They are not customer satisfied mantality, they literally argued with me in being unhappy with something like I was wrong. Are you kidding me? Never again. Will never, EVER recommend this place, I don;t care how nice or over priced their crate and barrel arragements are.

I’ve always had a great experience at Simply Home. We purchase a lot of furniture for clients and Linda’s team has always been quick to respond to our needs whether for a large order or a small one. They offer many sale opportunities which is always a draw.
