I really wanted to like this place for all the great reviews. Bagels were okay but nothing compared to A&S Franklin Square. Prices were decent… Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel with a coffee for a total of $ 5+. Now here’s the reason for not giving four stars… Got home and had a bacon egg and cheese instead. Whomp whomp…

I stopped by this place a few months back when I was in the neighborhood. Waited about 15 minutes on a line about 6 people deep. The bagel was good, and I thought the slow moving line was a one time thing. Yesterday I was in the neighborhood and stopped here again. 8 people on line in front of me, took about 15 – 20 minutes just to get a bagel and coffee. The food is good, but there doesn’t seem to be any sense of urgency on the staff behind the counter. They seem more concerned with the orders coming in on the phone than the people standing in front of them. It’s just a bagel store. Service is too slow. Bagels are good, but not worth the wait.

Giving 4 instead of 5 only because I’ve never eaten anything else here that this deli offers aside from my signature breakfast sandwich. I’ve found there’s no other deli in Farmingdale that comes close to how I want my sandwich made as perfectly and consistently as they do. Keep up the great work guys!

Great delicious bagels that are always warm and fresh. I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience yet at this bagel spot its always a quick visit. Bagels is always prepared correct, perfectly toasted or not over stuffed with butter. They also make some mean sandwiches made to keep you stuffed up until your lunch break I definitely recommend you trying this place out you won’t be disappointed.

I tried it again and ugh. The bagels r good but the service is horrible. The line is crazy on the weekend and I understand it is busier on the weekend but 40 minutes really. But I was already there waiting I felt like I couldn’t leave after waiting for a bit. I hate myself for waiting to be honest. They need to learn how to manage their lines and run a business. The owner is flat out rude. She is slower than anything doesn’t listen when you order. You say something about the line she looks at you and yes it is long. Well do something about it as the owner and boss. Let’s pull it together lady and do something. Also they don’t be to be that clean anymore. Never change their gloves even after handling money. When I asked the boss to she made it seem like I was asking for her first child. The huffing isn’t needed. I would really give them a 4 on bagels. Service is below a 1 start and the other food 3. The wraps prob are good but again they don’t listen when you order slice the meat thin it’s thick when you ask for lettuce it shouldn’t be browning there are many things. I would stick to bagels only.

This is what all NY bagels dream to taste like. Also what I brag about when I’m wandering the west coast. They just don’t know how delicious Bagel hut bagels are… its 11 pm and I wish they were open now because I’m craving a scrumptious sesame bagel of cylindrical goodness. I’m waking up early, see you soon Bagel Hut. See you soon.

THE.BEST.BAGELS.EVER.PERIOD… Get there in the morning and the bagels are still warm. The salads are great. Everything is fresh. Been eating here for years now. Perfect every time. Just make sure you repeat LIGHTLY toasted. Sometimes they get a little crazy with that toaster and your bagel comes out a bit crispy.

Grabbed a couple dozen assorted bagels for a work party today. First time at Bagel Hut. Holy crap, they were delicious. Absolute perfection — soft, chewy bagels. Everyone at work kept raving about them and asked where I got them. We’ll be back.

Perfect chewy bagel with a nice slab of dream cheese. That’s how it’s done.

This place has really good bagels. My favorites include the egg everything and spinach. There can be a long wait if you order an egg sandwich since this place is really crowded at times so I recommend calling in your order ahead of time.

Just moved into the neighborhood(and back to NY) and found this place on Unilocal.Didn’t disappoint. Eggs sandwiches on what might be the best NY bagel I have ever had Line was a bit long but they move it fast. Will definitely be our go to neighborhood bagel shop.

Fantastic bagels. I go in once a week to get either mini bagels, or whole wheat bagels. They’re always fresh, and usually warm. Their hours are definitely limited but in the hours they are open, the staff is pretty quick to cut down the line as fast as they can. I also have had the regular and low fat tuna salad and both are great. Compared to the«Bagel Café» chain(of which I’ve been to Long Beach, Bellmore, and Oceanside) Bagel Hut holds their own. Recommended.

In no way were my expectations high when coming in here on a whim, but they were met and exceeded by Bagel Hut. There were plenty of people on line when I arrived, but BH had at least 4 people behind the register making things happen. You can get anything from a bagel with cream cheese(there are a bunch of varieties), to deli sandwiches, breakfast sammies and salads. I went simple, a pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese, but was very happy. The bagel was just how I like it, crunchy outside, chewy inside and soft overall. There could have been more cream cheese, but it did the trick(I’m probably just spoiled by Bagel Boss here). Overall, a solid bagel spot. Do it!

Ok. I live in Farmingdale(Nassau County) I baked bagels for 3 years as an early morning second job when I was younger. I take bread/bagels seriously… I’m a NY Italian. I have tried every bagel place around… literally …but, wanted to find the place that is closest to my house that has the best tasting bagel and, this is the place. Great taste, baked perfectly.

Excellent bagels, soft inside, chewy outside. One of the best bagels in nyc area. Sometimes, persons who took orders made mistakes and did not give customers the orange juice that come with combo or refuse custom orders.

I’ve lived on Long Island my whole life but only recently discovered Bagel Hut, and I can safely say these are some of the best bagels I’ve ever had. I get bagels from here at least twice a month, and usually also end up having bagels from other places twice a month, and Bagel Hut always gets it right. Whether you’re getting one fresh bagel to eat in the restaurant or getting a dozen to bring somewhere, you’ll be satisfied. If I want a more friendly, laid-back vibe with a wider variety of breakfast choices I’ll go to Stuff-A-Bagel, but when it comes to just the bagels themselves, you can’t beat Bagel Hut.

Great egg sandwiches, fast service and friendly staff. The place can get busy but they handle it well. You must try the grilled chicken Caesar wrap for lunch!

Bagels are great at the hut. Bacon egg and cheese on bagel here, you can’t go wrong with that. Usually come on the weekends and it tends to be crowded so that’s the only downfall but I don’t mind the wait because its worth it.
