My new favorite bar. Taco Tuesday, ladies night… just a few of the great weekly deals. The food is above average for a pub. I basically come here to eat and I LOVEIT.

I frequent changing times. Jeff is a stand up business man… he takes all incidents personal and gets them rectified. World class. Thank you.

Year after year the WINGS here have been GREAT. I’ve hung out with coworkers & friends here on multiple occasions and no one has ever been disappointed by my recommendations. They’re about 50 TVs at this location positioned that you’ll have a great viewing angle wherever you’re located. Bartenders /waitresses are always friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I have been coming here for quite some time. We usually sit at the bar with the most awesome bartenders. We have dined at a table also and the wait staff is great too. It’s always a good time here and the food is always enjoyable! With this is mind while I was planning a Suprise birthday party for my husband having it here was an obvious choice. From my first meeting with Jeff straight through the party everything was wonderful! The prices were competitive and fair. The food and drinks were a plenty! The staff for the party Phil who oversaw it Nancy who served it and last but by no means least Heather and Kevin behind the bar all over delivered! My husband was both Suprised and thrilled that his party was here! We had about 50 people and all through the night and days after we had friends telling us how having his party here was so much better than if I had it… various places on long Island. Although I didn’t go any place else I agree completely! If your looking for a cold beer or chicken wings and or watching a sporting event there is no place else to go but changing time! And they host an awesome party too!

I was back on L.I. for a visit and looking for a spot to watch the Monday Night Jets game. As I drove through Farmingdale so many places were empty. Got to Changing Times, and I’m so glad that’s where we ended up. When they say there isn’t a bad seat in the house, they really mean it. No matter how you angle your chair or bar stool, you are surrounded by t.v.‘s. What really made this place great was the staff, and I have to give it up to the bartenders(terribly, the only name I remember is Kevin-the new kid on the block, who has only been there just shy of a year). The staff treats everyone at the bar like regulars, and from the neighborhood regulars who are playing lotto and chit chatting to pass time, to the young sports driven crowd there for the game, the wings are good, the booze is flowing, and the food comes out really fast. What more could you want from a sports bar? If you’re looking for a spot to watch a game, this is absolutely the place. It’s no wonder they’ve been around for decades and have three locations. Congratulations guys! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

This pub has been around at least at least 40 years and I have gone there on and off throughout those years. Changing Times really does just that, it changes with the times. The food is great, they have bands, painting events, enough room and now… chargers for your phones, iPads, etc. right at the stools by the bar!!! How great is that? They’ll even supply a cord with a deposit that you’ll get back when it’s returned!

Came here for lunch last week and really wasn’t a fan. I got a Philly cheese steak and the steak was not good in my opinion. It was chewy and piecey. Also it wasn’t cooked all the way, which usually is the standard if they don’t ask for a preference. They did have the Not Your Father’s Rootbeer that everyone is losing their minds about though!

The wings and blue cheese are ridiculous!!! Came here for the first time to meet some family to watch the USA women’s soccer team play in the World Cup. There were tons of tvs showing the game and we had the BEST waitress Mary Ann who kept us smiling the entire time. Will definitely be back!

Great wings — not crispy enough, as I asked for. Next time I’ll ask them to put a quick grill to them. Bleu cheese is AMAZING!

The scene a normal Thursday, a little place around a inconspicuous corner that i heard had a good selection of beer. Not a local by any means but travel often. Walk in after finding a spot to park, through the back entry. Tables, empty, bar standing room only! Walked up to the busy bar, moments later a beer in hand and a seat open. Beer, very nice selection but the wings delicious! The sauce was amazing get it on the side so you can dip it often, the blue cheese best I’ve had in years. Service was fantastic even better than thought with how busy they were. Great job ladies!

I never wrote a review on my experience here, as it was so shocking and repulsive I never wanted to talk about it again. That was until my younger cousin told me based on Unilocal reviews she came to this place. Ladies, please read, you have been warned. I came in with my boyfriend and sat down at the bar after a long day at work.(SIDENOTE: Changing times has 2 other locations, both of which are wonderful, so please don’t judge the other 2 locations based on this review. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at both other locations). So we go in, and the bartender has her back turned to us for probably 5 minutes. A bald man walks behind the bar walking past us and I try to get his attention and ask if I could get a drink menu. He looks at me and screams WHAT?! I ask for a drink menu again. He then tells me he «doesn’t like my attitude and if I don’t like it I can get out and go somewhere else.» I was stunned, my boyfriend thought he was kidding, and continued to try and order his drink. He says he wants a kettle and tonic and again the man turns to me and goes«if you don’t like it here you can leave.» I replied, «If I don’t like what? All I asked for was a drink menu.» He then commented he didn’t like the way I looked(Sorry, coming from work. Guess I looked too classy for this joint) and AGAIN said he didn’t like my attitude(apparently asking for a drink menu is a big NONO– watch out ladies, you’ll be demeaned, cursed at, and publicly embarrassed for asking for one). That’s when we both realized this psychopath was not joking, and there was no way I was going to sit there for another minute and let this low life loser talk to me like that. Needless to say, I got up and told the guy he was an asshole and I was out of there. I have NEVER been treated like this, EVER. It was despicable, I can only imagine that this man either had a drug problem, steroids, or just mental illness — it was seriously that bizarre. I literally sat in the parking lot for 5 minutes in absolute shock before proceeding to Farmingdale Village– it was actually upsetting that somebody had the nerve to speak to a woman like that for NO reason. Long story short: ladies, stay away from this place. This guy was an absolute psychopath who clearly gets off on talking to woman like they’re garbage. I will NEVER recommend this location to anybody, and now realizing that people actually continue to go to this hole in the wall I have to share my disgusting experience… You’ve been warned.

Perfect for football Sunday. Arguably the best wings on Long Island accompanied with hand down the best blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had. A friend let me in on a secret with the wings, ask them to give them a quick grill after being fried for nice crispy exterior. Another must have for me when ever I’m there is the mini tacos, with melted cheese. Simple and delicious. Specials on Sunday are 50 cents on the wings and pitcher of Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light for $ 9, which is very fair. If you are more of a beer-snob they have a wide selection of craft beers on tap, which is what I usually go for. I have to confess my only experiences here are for Beer-wings & snacks. But I really need to make a point of getting here and exploring their menu a bit further. The burgers look really good. One last think I want to add is that the wait staff has always been friendly & attentive.

Do you want to know what’s embarrassing? Try being a food lover and living within walking distance for 12 years without every trying Changing Times, only to find out after all this time the at the food is amazing! That embarrassing! The reason I never went in was because from the outside it just looked too much like a local dive bar that catered to their own ‘Cheers-like’ crowd. But a buddie of mine dragged me in there for lunch and I’m so glad he did. There is a nice array of burgers. I went with the Tex-Mex burger with cheddar cheese, chili and jalapenos(light on the jalapenos please). The burger was cooked right, juicy and delicious, and wasn’t smothered with so much chili that I couldn’t handle it with my hands. My son, a BWW refugee, has fallen in love with their boneless buffalo wings. I would say their wings are way better, far meatier and without the ridiculous amount of breading that you get on BWW boneless wings. My wife went low cholesterol and ordered the coconut-crusted mahi-mahi. She absolutely fell in love with the dish, and is eager to return. The fries are über-hot and crispy and very delicious. But perhaps the star of the show is the beer-battered onion rings. These babies are just golden perfection, and they used enough beer in the batter that you can actually taste the beer. They are super crispy with real onions and real flavor. An order of onion rings and a beer at the bar is a great way to soak in the suds. I have been three times now. It won’t be the last time either. Just be careful on Giants or Jets football days. You simply cannot get in the place. They draw a huge crowd and they have about 25 tv’s around the bar and dining room. Parking on non-footbal days is tough. On football days its impossible.

Pleasantly surprised. Bartender was very nice. My friend ordered a rainbow cookie shot. She she didn’t know how to make it, but she quickly looked it up and made it for them. They loved it. Bar is super clean which is a huge plus. Prices are typical for most bars. My angry orchard came to 6.50 and it’s 6 at nutty Irishman down the rode. Lots of TVs all over. I didn’t eat but my friends food looked decent. Decent place for a hang out. Not to go out and dance.

Came here with around 30 people from work to watch a giants game and party! It’s loud and boisterous on game nights but if you’re looking for a divey place, with loads of TV screens and the usual American pub fayre then this will be great for you! The wings are A-OK, sauce not so spicy, fries are pretty ordinary but the sandwiches are great! It not expensive really, its got a great atmosphere and have to be honest the drinks came totally thick and fast the whole time! We crawled out! Service for our group was great and there a covered area outside for vapers and smokers. Great Long Island pub and game bar — so Four Stars! Go for it!
