Lowe’s is definitely not as good as Home Depot. The service in this store specifically is not that great. If you have an issue the management tries to do the right thing. That is the reason for 3 stars and not 1.

All I have to say is how can this many dumb people work in one place. Great products but poor people equal crap process. Unfortunately Home Depot isn’t much better.

Well the homeowner that be me is attempting to recover my 525 sq. ft pressure treated deck of 2×6 lumber. Got to say spent two hours going through the rack and was able to find a few acceptable boards. So there prime number two fits accordingly it is a number 2 for sure and it is unbelievable that this quality of wood is touted as being prime number two horrible quality’ I give it two flushes because no one would believe a corporation so large would sell this low end junk. The check out staff on my repeated trips were all polite, The buyer should be fired for purchasing this for customer sale.

I just left without getting my paint. Maybe he went to lunch but there should be another associate to assist. Had customer service page him 3 times but no one showed up so we left after 20 minutes. We saw 6 associates at customer service, most just bantering to each other. Now I have to make another trip to home depot. Not a happy camper. To top it off at checkout, I needed assistance at self checkout to scan a large bulk item and it seemed I was a inconvenience because she had to punch in the bar code because they don’t have a gun for the bar codes.

HORRIBLE!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased a Weber BBQ to have delivered to my home. I called the day before the BBQ was to be delivered to see what time the BBQ would be delivered. I was told I had taken the BBQ home the day I bought it, no delivery date was actually scheduled. Well isn’t that special! I was told the young man on the floor was new and made a mistake. Train your employees better Lowes! After talking with Judy, who was playing monkey in the middle for Monica(I ASSume Monica is a manager, and never actually spoke to me) I was rewarded with refund of 50.00. Which was in the form of a gift card to spend in the store. So, no money ever went back into my pocket. I was told by Judy the BBQ would now be delivered today, Wednesday. Guess what?! The BBQ is now being delivered tomorrow, Thursday. I have now used 2 of my vacation days from work only to never receive my purchase. I cancelled my order and am going to Home Depot where I should of went in the first place. Thanks for nothing Lowes!

I came in needing two copies made of two different keys. Something which shouldn’t be altogether difficult or cause much frustration, right? Not here. I go into the store, and see a gaggle of employees shooting the breeze at the customer service counter, and being unfamiliar with this store, walk up to ask them where I can get keys made. Everyone shoots me a surprised look, as if wondering why they should be interrupted. I get sent to the other end of the store where, as you might have guessed, nobody is covering the Hardware section. Not a big deal, as I go behind the desk and push the red Help button… and proceed to wait… and wait… and wait. When someone finally came over to make my keys, he used the wrong mold. I found out when I got back home that the key didn’t even fit into the lock. Thankfully, Lowe’s accepts returns on faulty keys, and the automatic machine at the Lowe’s in Rosedale took care of my needs. Check-out was, actually, a pleasure. The young lady overseeing the self-checkout lane saw me struggling with the machine, as it wouldn’t scan my MyLowe’s card, and took me at her till. Still — I would think twice about coming back here for anything. Go to Roosevelt Field for a real customer-driven Lowe’s experience.

Decent garden section but horrendous service and poor inventory control. Unlike Home Depot, you’ll have a hard time finding workers there to help locate items and I have a feeling anytime you want something that an associate doesn’t feel like locating they’ll just say«oh that’s not in stock». How could you possibly know without looking or is your memory that good? A couple times I’ve ordered multiple items off the website for pickup at the store only to get called back by the store telling me 2 of the 4 items you ordered aren’t actually in stock so we’re cancelling that order. Today I tried ordering a patio they had on display and this is how the conversation went: Me: I’d like to order the 7 piece Garden Treasures patio set you have on display Lowe’s salesperson: what’s the item number? We have a lot of patio sets. Me: I don’t have the item number but there’s only two 7-pice sets on display and I want the one that’s black with the blue cushions Lowe’s: That can be anything. I need an item number. Me: No, again, there’s only two 7 piece sets on display and ONLYONE is in black with blue cushions and the brand is Garden Treasures Lowe’s: *Grumble, grumble grumble* No we don’t have that in stock. Try the Garden City location.

Went to their garden center looking for plants for Mother’s day. Huge selection, if I didn’t know what Iwas looking for I would still be wandering up and down the aisles like being lost in a jungle. Mauve Calla Lillies. Of course I had to pull out the smartphone and google Mauve so I could check if it was the right color. Mauve? I’m a primary color kind of guy, I only needed the 5 piece Crayola box as a kid.

I have never seen such incompetence in my life. They told me to come down to get a water heater installed, that I needed to come in person and that the install would take 24 hours. I cancelled my other install since this would be faster. We haven’t had hot water in three weeks. I am in the store, now they are telling me $ 35 to go to my house, that I will need to wait 48 hours to get a call from a plumber and who knows when the actual install will happen. I have wasted five hours of my life running from work to my house during rush hour and over here. What a waste. They are fighting it out now. This is the height of unprofessionalism. Update– manager told me 78 hours for someone to go to my house for an estimate, then another few days to do the work, that the $ 395 install price given isn’t right and there will be additional costs. Just go somewhere else for installs.
