Seigerman’s Furniture

We bought two pieces of furniture from them recently. Both the price and quality were very good so we have no complaints there. However, one piece, a sofa, was damaged when the deliveryman put it together and it was not usable. The store uses a one person outside contractor to do all repairs for a service area covering at least 3 counties with several million people in them. I contacted the store manager and the contractor and explained i just couldn’t take off a day from work for the repair. I needed them to work with me for a Saturday or at least a time very late in the work day. They said they would but they did not and since we had no seating without this sofa i was eventually forced to take a day off from work to fix a problem the store’s own personnel caused. I asked for some consideration for this; perhaps the return of my delivery charge since the delivery was defective but got nothing. Please be aware that if you have need of servicing you will be at the store’s beck and call; not the other way around

I bought what was told to me an Italian leather couch being shipped from overseas. The salesman compared the couch to a Natuzzi but a better price. It looked great in the showroom so I bought it. It did take quite a while to come but it did arrive, and beautiful too. So what’s the problem? Well, after about 3 years wr noticed the seat part was wearing out, especially at the area most sat on. We tried switching places to sit and now those seats are worn out too. Unfortunatly at around that time Seigetman’s went out of business. Now they are back and say they won’t stand behind their furniture because they are owned by a different person, so they are jot Seigerman’s? Don’t buy their leather furniture, it will wear out and look terrible. I bought a cheaper leather sofa from a competitor years before this and it is fine, no sign of wear and tear so you make the decision but don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Purchased a custom dining room from Seigermans December 15^th. The sale staff was great and they designed the set right on the computer for me. I felt very comfortable with the store and I am now working with their design staff to decorate my basement and my 3 bedrooms. Ronelle who heads up their design team is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She made me feel so comfortable, its as if I have known her for years. Looking forward for my delivery and ordering the rest. I would and have recommended Seigermans to all of my friends, family and now to you…

AWFUL! PLEASE READ! I do not know where to begin. I’m writing this hoping that people see this and can avoid this disgrace of a company and not endure the same headache I did for going on four months now. That’s correct, 4 months and I still do not have the correct couch I ordered and all I keep being told is «can we call you back, I have to check the order.» I had ordered a sectional from seigermanns in may, Memorial Day weekend, I was told from the salesman bob that my order would take anywhere from 4 – 6 weeks. Thought that was a little long for a furniture order but whatever I had time before I moved into my home and no rush. After 4 weeks I had called to check the order and long story short was told that was incorrect, my order would take 8 – 12 weeks and there was nothing they could do. Irate at the fact I would have never ordered anything knowing id have to wait THREE MONTHS, they didn’t seem to care. Phone call after phone call to find a happy medium, I was offered 400 $ off a 3,800 couch! Fast forward to present 3 months and 2 weeks later, the couch being delivered two weeks ago and guess what, they delivered the wrong couch and I’m currently being told whoops sorry we’ll fix that but «let me check that order and see if I can get a new one on a truck.» So I’m back to square one with waiting on this couch AGAIN. Their customer service is disgraceful. The salesmen are all just looking to make their commission — I accidentally irritated one of them going in there the other day to try and use the gift card they thought would appease me for 200 $, I was given a «ugh» I told you to ask for me (mike) now I have to share my commission with the other salesman who already helped you.
Needless to say, I have paid out the nose for a couch that is wrong and no one is making any notions to make it right.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! The first time we ordered a dining room set it came about month late and was damaged, took about 4 months to correct everything. A few years later we went back (our own fault). Ordered another dining room set and was told by Mike it was in stock and we will have it within 6 – 8 weeks. It is now 14 weeks later and we still do not have it. The little money you do save by purchasing from here is NOT worth the aggravation that comes with it. Every phone call to them is just lies and they «yes» you to death. We have learned our lesson. NEVER AGAIN!

10 weeks and still waiting for my sofa and love seat. not happy! they aren’t even apologetic on the phone… have yet to see the quality of the furniture… just waiting and waiting and waiting.

We had done business with Seigermans 25 years ago with one of the founders and it was a good experience then. Fast forward to now. We were burned at another business close by and were referred to this place by someone in the industry.
A salesman named Bob was pleasant, informative and polite. We knew exactly what we wanted as we had ordered the same couches from their defunct competitor. Bob took care of the sale with aplomb and gave us a price almost 20% less than the competitor. The couches were delivered within the promised time and the delivery went perfect (which is NOT typical this day and age).
My wife spoke to Bob at the store one day prior to the delivery and he was just as pleasant as the day we ordered the couches a few months ago.
This business was a breath of fresh air and we will not hesitate to go bcd for more.

The ongoing saga with this place continues. Issues with our mirror were to be fixed today After the late delivery of the set. Made all arrangements to be available for a touch up person to come and fix it. Was stood up & of course no one at the store has any answers or a clue of what is going on & no way to contact anyone who can actually help me. Was told to call back tomorrow which does me no good since I wasted my entire day today waiting around for these people. Beyond frustrated & annoyed!!!

We ordered a Natuzzi Sofa from them in October 2012. Being that all Natuzzi Sofa’s are pretty much a custom order, we were given a 4 months estimates which is the same estimate we received from 5 other stores. The salesperson was very patient as we took our time to decide if we want a power recliner and what color would work best for us.
Based on the 4 months estimate, we expected the order to come by Feb 15, 2013. It actually arrived a month early around Jan 15, 2013.
Overall we had a pleasant experience ordering our furniture from Seigerman’s. We would highly recommend them.
