This bar takes you back to the old neighborhood bars. If you truly want a good bar burger good time with friends in a homey atmosphere Bottom of the 5th is the place to go. This is truley a sports bar.
It’s a great place to go watch a game and have a great burger and fries. If you live in area Farmington you need to check this place out.

This is our favorite neighborhood dive bar. Since a new owner/​manager took over, it is much cleaner which I appreciate. The food is an array of fried stuff and burgers, but the dough boys (fried pieces of pizza dough tossed in garlic and butter) are delish! The booze prices are on par with the area and they do have some local beer choices. The bartenders we’ve had are very friendly and helpful, and usually not slow.

Not sure how to phrase this kindly but, this place is a disaster…
It could be a great dive bar. It could be a true oasis in frumpy Farmington Hills. Or even Farmington. I do not even know where to start, but every single visit (and it’s been multiple) involves dealing with a clueless and crass bartender that always seems to be eating her (his) provided dinner

This place used to be called Shots Tavern. It’s a neighborhood «dive bar» however not bad for a dive. Lots of BIG TV’s for watching a game. Drink specials. And if you arrive early enough try the doughboy’s, they are simple but awesome, baked with Parmesan cheese and come with dipping sauce. Free wifi here too, just ask for the password. Usually has something to do with tipping your servers :-)

Love this place! Don’t live around town anymore otherwise I would be a regular. Very relaxing atmosphere, awesome and friendly staff! Great place to grab a quick beer or just hang out after work or class.

How can I give this place 3 stars and I’m the duchess! Welp… Truth is its not that awesome! It’s your classic hole in the wall bar and if you wanna go where everybody knows ur name!!! Go to shots… Which is really called bottom of the 5th. But beware it will not look or feel like cheers. The bartenders are awesome and the food is good but definitely over priced. I go here a lot because its convenient and the people make it worth the visit!

The menu is lacking (it’s bar food, but not spectacular bar food, and it’s expensive). And the drinks are a bit high for this kind of place, and the service has been really slow the last four times I’ve been in here, but there isn’t anything terribly wrong with Bottom of the Fifth. It’s close to my house so it’s great for me, but I probably wouldn’t travel too far to visit. I think if they worked on having better tasting food at more reasonable prices (or maybe a food special each night like $ 0.50 sliders or tacos or wings or something) it would draw me in more. Or a power hour with drink and shot specials. I like gimmicks.

Oh, Shots. I’m pretty sure shot’s will always have a special place in my heart. With Farmington being my old stomping ground, I’ve spent countless nights (mostly in my early 20’s) at this place, drinking swill and takin’ names (mostly by the pool tables!) A number of my friends had they’re 21st’s here, and it was a mainstay for my crew’s karaōke nights for a good chunk of time. Needless to say, I have plenty of fond memories of this place, and I believe this is the ultimate «dive» bar. Cheers!

and now the best, Shot’s Tavern.
This is a great place to go and just hang out. Great service. Close to the best slider joint around after tossing a few brews back. Oh and if you’re adventurous there’s Saturday night Karaōke…
