Poor service, waitstaff are nice but they don’t have enough people working at one time. They didn’t check on us not even once and we had to wait quite a while to find someone to ask for our bill. If it was up to me I would have left.

Great beer prices and good food. Could use some help behind the bar but the best thing is that Carl has been banned from the bar.

It’s an interesting place to go to. I mainly went for the more than average craft beer selection there, because well… I didn’t feel like drinking swill for the night.
From pool to shuffleboard, darts to TV’s galore, this place does have a nice selection for people to enjoy. But for me? The people watching gets really interesting after 9 pm. This seems to be a favorite local spot for people in the Livonia area… as it seemed like droves and droves of people came in groups and took over areas of the seating area like it was lunchtime back at high school.
Their bar food is pretty decent for the price, I can say that the plate of nachos is very admirable… and they really don’t skimp on the portion size. Other than that? The staff is helpful, and they are pretty on top of things there, especially with what is currently on tap.

I’ve been here multiple times with quite a few different groups of people and no matter who I’m with everyone always has a great time! Foods good, waitresses are good and the drinks are cold! Can’t get much better!

I love this bar. They always have amazing beer selections in bottles and on tap. I like how they rotate the beer so every time you go there is a new one or five to try.

Yup, I’m a total fan. I’m glad Joe V. suggested this place since I’ve had it bookmarked for so long. Cool bartenders, really comfortable prices, a clean restroom and a nice game room. It’s kind of a local’s spot but I dug this place for how straightforward it is. Very chill and Cheersy.

Came here yesterday after work and I gotta say, I kinda like it. Reasonable beer prices. The bartenders were friendly and outgoing. They were also on top of the service. Didn’t really get a chance to partake in the game room, but it was really spacious and the stuff looked like it was kept up well.
I tried the wings. They were good. Could’ve maybe used another minute or two in the fryer as I like mine to be a tad crispier, but overall the flavor was good and they were a good size.
Overall, I thought it was a solid experience. Some of the previous reviews had me a bit skeptical, but also a bit intrigued. Wanted to come check it out for myself and I’m glad I did. Granted, it was a Tuesday happy hour visit, so it wasn’t busy or anything, but based on everything I experienced yesterday, I’d definitely give it a go again.

1^st let me say I’m far more likely to track down a manager to compliment the wait staff than I am to get pissed about something. If the service is poor, I usually shut up and lighten the tip a bit (maybe from 20% to 15%…Ooh, tough guy :(). I started frequenting Wintergarden more often and the bar around the corner less often because they have better food. The sandwiches are great. Tonight I went with my wife and 2 others. The waiter was nice. He let me sample a couple IPAs before I made my selection. There used to be a chalkboard near the kitchen door with the soup of the day, but that’s gone now. I asked what soup they had and was told all they had was chili today. However, wifey called beforehand and was told they had beer cheese and French onion, so he went in back to check and came back out to tell us we were correct. Wifey ordered her sandwich, substituting fries well done for the homemade chips (cooked onsite… really good). I ordered the cheese soup and a sandwich with chips. Sister-​in-​law ordered her sandwich with the chips included too. We joked that he didn’t write anything down. He said it was an easy order. HA! After waiting quite a while, I asked If I could have my soup. He went in and came back out with French onion. I pointed out his error. I thought he went back in to the kitchen to get the right stuff but came out empty handed and went to tend to other tables. I finally got my soup just before everyone else’s sandwiches came out. We mentioned my sandwich and he looked surprised. Wife’s fries were nowhere near well done. barely done. 20 minutes later, after everyone was done eating, my sandwich came out… with fries. Fortunately there was a big basket of chips on the table because they weren’t ready when sis-in-law’s sandwich came out earlier, so he brought a big basket 5 minutes afterwards. So, anyway, I suggested to him that he should talk to the manager about not charging me for my dinner under the circumstances. It turns out that the manager was the stressed out bartender. Did she bother to come over and talk to us… NO! Instead she had the waiter let me know that I was getting 20% off of my sandwich. Oh! that was just TOO generous. THAT IS POOR MANAGEMENT. I calmly let the watrer know that soup is an appetizer and comes out before the meal. I also explained that I’m more likely to let poor service slide, but when the manager dropped the ball like that, I told him it will be a long long time before I consider going back there again. I’ll go up the road to Peterlins next time. Really good food there too.
I gave them 2 stars because the sandwiches are so good, but the manager f’ed up. I hope the owner reads this and sees what’s going on there, because I’m sure the «manager» doesn’t give a sh*t.

Well it looks like the Negative Reviews on this place are Spot On. I went there today and Negative was my experience as well. After sitting waiting at the bar for at least 20 twenty minutes the barmaid who seemed to have an unfortunate skin condition, informed me that my order had not gone through to the kitchen and asked me if I still wanted it… well I might have excused it but the place was dingy and smelled of bad breath and bad beer. It was kinda humid and just iiiick. The patrons were yelling and screaming every time a Tiger (the game was on) scratched his balls or did anything!
Of course they were all juiced and loud. So NO I wouldn’t return nor can I say anything about the food cuz I didn’t get any. Glad I didn’t cuz I was turned off walking in and likely would have spent too much money for a bad experience!!.

This place has the strangest bathroom graffiti — in the men’s bathroom, someone had written «goddam I’m so f*cking Chinese» and «Toilsome! More like flame broilsome!» and «join my new band, metallica 2, call me at 734-​***-****.»
Come for the food and beer, stay for the baffling bathroom graffiti.

Been eating here for about 3 years now. Today a friend and I went to eat here again. We both ordered the baby back ribs. I ordered the full slab for $ 16.95. When our male waiter brought out our dinners… WOW! My friend said «We got ½ of a cow» What a huge slab of ribs we got. I got 13 or 14 bones worth of fork tender fall off the bone ribs. Very meaty and lean. What an incredible value for the money. Delicious! I only ate half and took out the rest in a carryout box. Service has always been good when ever I come here. Reasonable prices. I fly to Chicago every July to go to a yearly Ribfest to taste ribs from all over the USA. There are 12 rib restaurants competing for money and trophy’s. These baby backs are better than most at the Ribfest in Chicago.

I came here last night to celebrate our last night of clinical with my fellow classmates and clinical instructor. I haven’t been here in several years, but after tonight, I will definitely be back… soon!
Our waiter was super friendly, and he had a tough job handling a big group of excited nursing students, haha. I had the build a burger, a ½ lb angus patty on a brioche bun. I kinda feel like a burger aficionado. I love burgers and have had them at dozens and dozens of local eateries. I have been to several restaurants just because they are known for having the best burger or have been voted for having the best. This burger was right up there with all of them, and could end up being my new favorite. Service great, food incredible. I will be back.

This was defiantly a three to four star place but now after this most recent visit I don’t know if I will be going back I get with the other reviewers say about the age and demeanor of the clientele 1 female in particular that night who seems to be very comfortable there or a waitress we have seen her there before thin with blonde hair was extremely over served and drunk and found it amusing to get on the center table and start humping and rubbing her crotch across the center table with her legs straddling it after getting off she proceeded to stick her hand down the front of her pants !!! to scratch or I assume adjust personal items then drink straight out of her beer pitcher… this went on for over 40 minutes and the waitresses that were on staff just kept leaning on the counter talking to her and laughing finding it appropriate. the bathroom is still beyond disgusting the mold smell was so bad that I could not use the restroom the same leaky ceiling and missing ceiling tiles it smell like a wet cellar it seems like now all they are focusing on is the gambling in the back room the food quality has went down also and all of the staff here are barely 21 we don’t think we will be back

Boo!!! Swastika carved into my table that the waitress «couldn’t do anything about.»

I’ve been here a few times, but tonight will be my last time. There was an offensive symbol carved into our table and we asked our server if we could scratch it out, she was very apologetic and decided to take care of it when the bartender told her to stop. When we explained the situation the bartender was upset and unsympathetic. We responded with… If you are okay with a swastika carved into your table we choose not to support this business and walked out.

They used to have a wing special that was reasonable. Now you MUST order a craft beer in order to get the wing special. Hence not making it a special at all. Plus, if you don’t drink beer looks like you are screwed. Unfortunate because they are the best wings around. Won’t go back until this nonsense is over

Very nice place. I mean everyone is really nice and for Livonia it’s great. I’ve been to places in royal oak and still it’s well worth it.

Well first of all the waitress was a real argumentative person. When she approached the table she called us guys and one was a woman. Then when asked about the oda selection she said I will be honest it is Leonards syrup, and she went on and on about how she was going to be honest and just kept going, she was very annoying and for my husband to get upset she must have been really bad because he is not one to judge quickly and get upset. She persisted to upset him and brought him a sample of pop even tho he said no, she would keep coming over and asking how it was and kept starring at us. She again made a few comments about being honest.
Her name was Kerry and she should not work with the public.
She was very argumentative and quite a nasty person.
The nachos were fair and that was about it for the food.
We will not be going back.

A group of went here after the Tiger’s game. The food was very good. My wife got the filet tips and it was excellent. Very tender and a very good flavor. I got a burger and it was very good as well. The homemade chips were a little too salty, but overall the good was good.
The only issue was the service. The waitress was not very attentive and brought out two items that were incorrect.
