Although I’m not a fan of chain restaurants, my husband and I have been going to this location for years, and we’re always pleased with everything. The big draw for us has always been the salad bar, which is great! Lots of variety and fresh ingredients. As long as they have a salad bar, we’re there! No one does this anymore!

This place is not a good representation of Ruby Tuesday’s. The food was not presented on the plates well and the salad bar looked old! However the waiter was friendly.

Good service from waitress, but horrible management. Old rotten food on salad bar, and filthy bathrooms. I’ve given this restaurant many chances because it is close to my house, but it never fails to disappoint.

Originally I rated this 2⁄5 and the more I thought about it, nope it was a 1. Here’s why: we waited about 15 minutes for a table — a dirty table, at the very back of the restaurant that we wiped down ourselves before letting our kids touch it. The floor needed a vacuum but nothing we could do about that! We even had the pleasure of watching a cook take his break just behind our table. The table across the aisle from us had a collection of dirty dishes on it. Yummy, very appetizing. Our waitress who barely smiled at us took at least 5 minutes to greet us and ask for our drink orders. Since we had waited so long for our table as well as service we were ready to order our food with our drinks. When ordering my food I mentioned my husband I would share our meal, and I asked to add the garden bar… apparently I offended the waitress who sternly told me we would have to add it for both of us. After promising that my husband would be eating the side and I the salad, she then allowed this request. My mixed drink came out relatively quickly while my husbands DRAFTBEER took much longer due to the bar being«backed up.» Our food arrived in a decent amount of time. The kids shared chicken strips and fries and my husband and I shared a sirloin and lobster tail meal. My steak was supposed to be «medium — with a hot pink center.» Well, there was a bit of pink… not much. My husbands lobster tail looked gray, old, and smelled very fishy. Had the mashed potatoes been HOT, they would have been good. Overall, this restaurant was dirty and slow. Food was not good. I would have much rather spent $ 42 at, well, anywhere else. Our waitress was just rude and unaccommodating. We will not be returning.

The American Rib Festival advertised on the commercial piqued my interest. I read the description of each type of rib and decided to try the Ragin’ Cajun and The Texas Dusted with steamed broccoli and onion rings. The sides were wonderful. Now let’s discuss the main reason I visited Ruby Tuesday’s in the first place. The Texas Dusted ribs were very dry, they tasted as though they were fried then sprinkled with seasoning the dipping sauce was not on plate. Not good. The Ragin’ Cajun flavored ribs were slightly better but still disappointing. For $ 20.99 I expected better tasting. The server was okay but I had to ask for hand wipes. My husband’s drink was refilled several times however my drink, never was. Overall I can say I don’t think I’ll visit again.

I’ve been to Ruby Tuesday many, many times. I think they are a bit overpriced, but I love their salad bar. Ok, I absolutely LOVE the croutons. The salad bar has a good variety of lettuce, toppings and ready-made salads(Waldorf, macaroni, broccoli). But, at over $ 9 to eat it alone, it’s very pricey. However, you can get it for $ 3.29 with lots of other entrees & sandwiches. On this particular occasion, I went there because I had a coupon for a free burger for my birthday. I got a regular burger with fries. The fries were ok. Not as crispy as I like, though. The burger was fine, although probably a bit overcooked for most people.(I ordered it medium, but there were some crunchy edges.) It wasn’t very big, but that was ok because I got the aforementioned salad bar with it, and even though the burger was free, I was still only charged $ 3.29 for the salad. I also ordered iced tea. I was shocked to see that it cost $ 2.59 — and I only had 1 glass! By the time the server FINALLY came to ask me if I wanted more, she was bringing the bill & I was done. Which does bring me to the service: It was about 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon — not generally a prime time. But, the service was a bit slow. And, perhaps because I was alone and was using my tablet, I felt rather ignored. And the table was VERY sticky. I wonder if they’re ever actually cleaned, or if someone just wipes them with a slightly damp, over-used rag. Eww. If 2.5 stars was an option, that’s what I’d give it. They’re ok, not great. Good thing they have the croutons to sway my rating.

My girlfriend and I just came in for a late dinner. We were seated very quickly and our table was very clean. Our server was very short with us and didn’t tell us any of the specials. We were brought our drinks very quick, but we didn’t feel welcome. I ordered half rack of ribs and chicken strips. My girlfriend ordered the steak. Food was brought out quick. but didn’t taste good at all. All of our food was dry and the steak looked like it came out of the microwave. Overall we were not very impressed.

In town staying at the hotel across the street. Arrived late and me and my two kids were hungry so it seemed perfect. I should have driven farther because the service was horrible! We arrived an hour and a half before closing time and I found it odd the parking lot was empty. It’s clear now the locals know to stay away. There were us and 1 other table in the restaurant, and 2 people at the bar, so there is no excuse for the worst service ever! I literally had to get up to find my server for every step of the process. We were never greeted, and we had sat there for at least 10 minutes. I wasn’t bothered at first because it gave me time to read the menu that I was unfamiliar with. I finally got up and told the hostess we had never been greeted. After eating the mediocre meal, again, waitress nowhere to be found. I finally got up and found someone else to tell my waitress to bring the check. After bringing the check, she disappeared yet again. I mean nowhere to be found. That time I asked the bartender to please get someone so that I could pay them. The hostess comes out, I tell her I want to pay my bill, and she says«Oh you need to pay your server». At that point I was upset, I replied that she is nowhere to be found yet again. As someone who has raised her children waiting on tables, and has depended on tips for a living, this is one waitress that really deserved nothing. I did however give her 10%, and I bet she’s talking about me being a bad tipper. It’s too bad because we are in town for four nights, I need some place to eat three times a day. Never again. Don’t waste your time or money.

This is the second time I’ve been here and both times I left disappointed. Nice friendly service, but very subpar food. On the first trip I ordered a quesadilla and it looked and tasted like something out of a cheap frozen dinner box. This time I ordered a classic burger medium well, but it came back medium rare with an extremely greasy patty. Yuck! No problem though, the waitress brought a new burger complete with fries. However, this time the burger was more like medium instead of medium well. I ate half, but was so underwhelmed by the taste I left the rest and went back for another helping from the salad bar. It’s hard to imagine why I would ever come here again. But if ever I do, I will stick to the salad bar only. My entrees and appetizers have been gross.

I’ll call this a first time /last time stop. Not because anything was over the top horrible, but the way our visit went down. My son and I wanted to split a half rack ribs and salad bar but didn’t want the sides that came with the ribs… so, we asked the waitress if we could sub the salad bar($ 2.99 with an entre) for the two sides($ 2.69 ea.) and then purchase another salad bar($ 8.99) and we’d split the ribs. This confused her a bit so after three trips back and forth to her mgr they finally understood and agreed to it. We started on the salad bar and awaited our ribs. When they arrived is where the disappointment set in. They were the smallest half rack I’d ever seen! 4 ribs! A pig has 15 – 16 ribs and usually 2 maybe 3 are left on the shoulder when butchered. MOST every half rack of ribs I’ve ever purchased, anywhere, has 7 or 8 ribs. I didn’t bother saying anything as I didn’t want to argue this in front of my son. But after researching a bit everything I’ve read confirms a «normal» half rack of pork ribs has 7 or 8 ribs in it. I guess they thought we were really taking them for some $$ or something so they made up for it on the ribs. The ribs ended up costing $ 3.75 ea. and they were average size at best. I’ll stick to the BBQ restaurants for ribs in the future. On a positive note the salad bar was good.

Service was good. They had a local beer on tap. I had the steak and coconut shrimp and the steak was really chewy. Overall a dinner for(2), each having a drink, came to $ 50. That’s not bad if you leave the place saying you loved your meal, but we didn’t, so probably won’t go back.(The only reason we went was because my wife got a buy one get one half price entrée for her birthday; and it still was $ 50)

When I think of Ruby Tuesday, I think about the salad bar. If it wasn’t for the salad bar, I probably wouldn’t go here. But the bar is really good and it makes for a great add-on for a burger, a sandwich or a soup. Yes, it’s a chain, but the food is good and the service is good too.

The service at this location is always sub-standard. I gave it a second chance to be sure and it was just as bad. I never got service from my server until he gave me my check, it was ridiculous. The manager ended up taking my order, someone else brought it out, never got a drink refill… it was awful. The restaurant was not busy, probably 30% filled at best… just a huge disappointment all around!

I’ve been here a few times & every time I come I say«I need to come here more often». I was just in last weekend & I had the ribs for the first time &OMG they were awesome as were my 2 sides(zucchini, tomatoes with balsamic) and of course the salad bar. I don’t know what it is about their salad bar but it’s always so good… it’s nothing super special but the food always tastes fresh which is what makes it so damn tasty I think. The service was great BUT, the hostess was terrible. We walked in behind a group of 8& when she asked them how many & they said 8 she acted all pissed & stormed away. She came back, not seating them or anyone else & didn’t acknowledge us at all, then the manager came to help her seat the 8 people while a group she had sat came back saying their table was way too wobbly to sit at & she ignored them too. She stood at the hostess stand staring out the door acting like her job was beneath her & my friend said«is there a wait, do we need to give you a name» & she said«no» & went back to ignoring us. Finally the manager who was also just standing there watching her stare out the window said«have you been helped» and I said«no, table for 2» & we were sat right away… there was plenty of seating so I don’t know why miss hostess had her panties in a bunch but she really shouldn’t take it out on paying customers.

One star for each of my favorite items at the salad bar. 1. The greasy, buttery, brown croutons, which are somehow crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. 2. That awesome coleslaw that is only rivaled by Big Boy. 3. Pasta Salad with chunks of ham and peas in it. I don’t know why, but this stuff is legit. 4. Honey mustard salad dressing. Pure brilliance. Take notice, Shoney’s. 5. Greens… lettuce, peas, and green peppers. I don’t know what it is about Ruby Tuesday but the salad bar always gets me. I always end up in post-lunch, food-induced coma. And I love it. I’ve been to this Ruby Tuesday 2 – 3 times and it has been great. Once, however, during the lunch rush, the waiter was a little slow. It made me get back to work late. I feel restaurants should try harder to accomodate the working lunch crowd. Also, I wasn’t a huge fan of the white bean chili. Maybe it was because I ate three pounds of salad with ham chunks and bacon bits. Or maybe it was because the chili is healthy. Either way, stick to the salad or the minis and you should be alright.
