Ground Round Grill and Bar

I have almost 100 check ins here and I still love to stop here for food, appetizers or a margarita. This is my favorite place to have a Patron Margarita. Luke is the best bartender. He is fun, can take some razzing and also dish it out if needed. They have a friendly, helpful staff. I actually look forward to the limited time menu to come out because I eat here so often, it is hard to eat the same thing over and over again. I am trying to watch what I eat so I am also more selective trying to lose weight.
This place is very involved in the community, having fun competitions with guest bartenders like the mayor for the local food shelf and the police chaplain for the military families. We take pride in our community and participate in these fund raisers.
We even ended up in the background having a beer and a margarita at the bar in a photo taken for the Farmington paper. Yes, we made the paper. They are a clean, friendly place to have food and drinks with a nice patio to enjoy on the warmer days. I recommend this place. Even the regulars are fun people to BS at the bar. Come and hang out with me. Enjoy.

Good food and great service, we miss the old days when ground round had the peanuts but those days are long gone. Be sure to save room for the chocolate cake, chocolate covered, chocolate covered chocolate!

Although I really enjoy this place the over all experiences I’ve had here are not up to par. I am a bit of a critic though and am always harder on places than most individuals are. My hubby loves this place, as I’m sure most men do because it’s a burger joint. The lighter «healthier» meals they offer are not good. I try to make better choices when going out to dinner and this place has little to offer if you are looking for this option. I ordered a Cajun chicken meal… it was awful. The chicken was dry, the rice was bland, and the veggies were WAY over cooked. When I have decided to eat off the regular menu I have been very satisfied. They have a sandwich called the hot cicilian and it is AMAZING! I would also recommended the pretzels, the club burger and of course the deep fried oreos… they are so tasty! Sometimes the service can be just okay but I will continue to go here for burgers and brews.

Good food. Order to go and it is always ready when I arrive. Their turkey on a pretzel bun is fantastic!

I like this place, reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom and dad took us to the one in Burnsville. I now bring my kids here and the totally dig it. Plus the kids love popcorn and the staff is always right there filling it up!
2 outta 3 of the kids are picky eaters like their mom… I’m rolling my eyes… So the fellas get the kids steak and the girl gets whatever because she just happy to be eating out! I totally dig the club sandwich, burgers are good and the fries have a good seasoning. The serve soda in a 100 ounce cup so your not always looking for a refill. The staff seems happy and always around to check on ya. I’m not a regular but when around the area I’ll stop in and get a club!

I remember eating at a Ground Round when I was younger and loving it. It turns out I still like them.
I got a chimichanga and it was pretty good and very filling. My wife got fajitas and they weren’t bad either. I’d say overall above average food. Good enough to have me go back sometime.
Kids got some different kids meals and I thought they were better quality then normally given with kids meals.
Customer service was really good the night I went.

Came here on a Saturday night around 6:15pm, and they were quite busy. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated, but were able to have drinks at the bar while we waited. Tried the Fajita-​Rita deal and the fajitas were great… But note that the fruit margaritas are not part of the deal (only the plain)… And I thought that was disappointing as I don’t care for plain margaritas. My husband and daughter had the fish tacos and said they were so-​so.
The moscato was very good… And only $ 6.50 per glass.
I would say it was so-​so, but the prices are good and it is worth trying again.

Great food, everyone is so friendly. Drinks are great and service speedy! Can’t wait to come back!

If you remember the old Ground Round in Richfield fondly this reinvention will not impress. Other than the burgers and popcorn it is totally different. It really is a new restaurant and should not have paid franchise fees.
It has a modern décor, a few tvs in the bar and most definitely no peanut shells on the floor. We ate lunch on a Monday and service was attentive. I ordered the Athens Shrimp Pasta (without reading the previous review) and it was mediocre. The pasta should have been al dente and it was a little soft. The cream sauce would have been better if it was thinner and less lime. The feta, Kalamata olives and sun dried tomatoes were great. The accompanying foccacia flat bread was undercooked and doughy.
My husband had the French Dip and it was dry beef with a watery au jus sauce.
Neither of us finished our meals and the manager just offered a «sorry.»
This is the closest restaurant to our house but we won’t be coming back.
Don’t believe the slick photos as your food won’t look the fancy franchise photos.
