There used to be a time when you could get ANYTHING related to electronics (cables, adapters, audio/video accessories, etc.) at Radio Shack. This is NO LONGER the case! I stopped in here and needed a basic audio cable with Y splitter for my sub-woofer. The Store Manager said they were out but would have some in soon because they were currently on order. I don’t think there was a run on Y splitters over the Xmas holiday!
I managed to find a Y splitter but had to get a male-male adapter for it to make it work. I wound up spending $ 20 to ‘make’ a splitter that should have cost me $ 5. The Store Manager didn’t seem interested in helping me so i spent 20 mins searching the store and coming up with what I needed in a roundabout way. He seemed surprised that I found a Y splitter. I overheard his conversation and he was very knowledgable about cell phones and their plans. Probably because of the commission and residuals !!!
THIS STORE IS MORE GEARED TOWARDS SPRINT CELL PHONE SERVICE THAN ANY THING ELSE!!!
