Most terrible bar ever no one should go there. 1.They had terrible service. They would take about 20 minutes just to get our drinks it was terrible beer and wine too. They had nothing to choose from. 2. They are very rude there. I only asked for another Whiskey and the waiter said«Ma’am isn’t that to muck for tonight?» I was stunned I only had half a glass of wine and only asked for one glass of Whisky. 3. It was very expensive. With only having one glass of Whiskey, half a glass of red wine, one can of beer, and 1 glass of white wine.(I was with my Husband) turned out to be $ 349.
Probably the worst bar in the world.

Stopped here later on a Sunday evening for drinks. We would’ve ordered food, too, but it was 8:45pm and they were no longer serving. They were playing a TV show pretty loudly inside, so we moved outdoors after ordering a round. Their bartenders aren’t particularly friendly but their cocktails are well-priced because they’re nice and strong! This place is great if you’re looking for a divey spot to grab a pint or hang with friends.

Awesome place. We had a great time, saw several friends, a super bartender, great cocktails. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite places in the Dickson area. It was recently renovated and they also added a nice patio area. There is a quarter pool table for anyone who likes to shoot. There is free wifi and the new renovation is perfect anyone who wants to lounge while getting some studying/reading done during a slow night. They have great bands that come through every week and they are always exciting to watch. There is a great whiskey selection so be sure to check it out. They also offer a $ 1 beer for anyone on a budget.

Well, as much as I didn’t want to give any credit to the poor reviews for this establishment, I cannot agree more that this place is absolutely the worst place my family and I have ever been. Traveling with a son and daughter that are both 18 years of age and younger, we have become accustom to looking for businesses that are 21 years of age of older with signs or notifications that no one under the age of 21 are permitted. Approaching the main entrance, there was no indication that the establishment was 21 or over. After the drinks were ordered, we were told by the unbelievably rude and unwelcoming bartender that our children would not be permitted to stay. Whilst the immediate area was completely vacant with the exception of a couple and an individual waiting to talk with the bartender, there was not a mad rush to order beverages. Needless to say, it was as though she was put-off on asking for our beverage selections. Not only did the bartender provide attitude, but she was very quick to let me know that what we had ordered was not completely available. She did not provide an apology nor did she try to provide a solution. It was at that point I was completely frustrated once she told me that anyone under the age of 21 was allowed into the ‘Bar’. Due to her level of customer service or lack there of, it was at that point I became very frustrated that we were not notified prior to ordering our beverages. ‘A simple sign on the door would be a nice solution for management to implement’ is what I told her but it certainly did not resonate with the bartender. By far, this has been the worst experience I have ever experienced and I hope that others will not have to encounter the same thing.

THE #1 hangout spot for all things young and hip and badly behaved in Fayetteville. Sometimes the music gets a little out there, but if you can get in on a funk or bluegrass night, the tiny dance floor will be fantastically poppin’. Bartenders know their stuff, and apparently there are fun board games, though it’s usually too loud and my attention span is too short for me to sit down for a round. If you’re worried about making awesomely bad decisions, DON’T GOHERE. Seriously. The last time I was here, I tipped them 40 bucks just for putting up with all the making out I did in their back room. I should have tipped them 200. Jussayin.

Never go here unless you want a cocky(#highschoolproblems) bouncer to push you out and head butt you in the face at the end of a hedonistic night of debauchery. As I enjoyed my last sips of fancy whiskey right at last call(plenty of time before the 2am curfew) I was head butted by a bouncer with an attitude who demanded I finish my drink immediately. I was dragged outside and thrown against the ground and punched in the face several times before one of the other bartenders came out and broke the act up and apologized about the whole incident. Should I feel like I’m in a Harmony Korine film when I’m at a hip dive in Arkansas? Debatable. But for such hasty(repressed) violence to be committed upon a patron trying to enjoy their last drink in pseudo-opulence? I’m not so sure about this hot spot anymore.

I wasn’t impressed with this place. As a retired Marine, I’ve been all over the world and All over this country and been in a lot of places like this. On the West Coast and East Coast they do it much better. This place Has a common Fayetteville establishment affliction: It’s too pretentious Without having any reason to be. They act like they’re some sort of awesome and authentic Scottish/Irish pub, but the only real beer they have is Guinness. No Smithwycks. Try a little harder guys.

Do not go here. The staff and even the owners are pretentious and rude. It’s one of those places that give you a beer at last call then 2 minutes later stand over you while expecting you to slam it down. I have seen them get aggressive toward people that don’t chug a full beer. If you want to enjoy your night out, don’t go here.

This place sucks. Well maybe not if you are a guy. On recent business trip I stopped in for a couple of glasses of wine after reading reviews on this site. I sat at the bar and was never offered a refill after the first drink. I had to ask for it even though there was only 4 other people in the bar. When it came time to pay my tab I could not get the bartender to even notice me. I had my money on the bar, glass was empty and I was ready to go. He was too busy talking to the male customers. As this was happening I was reading the awards on the wall for«Friendliest Service». Really? Maybe if you were a guy. What an insult.

Not a fan of the hippy crowd. And I don’t care to play board games at a bar.

neat place. Hipster and preppy crowd at times. Smoking patio on back is lacking, but at least they have one. Best place to take your date than try and find one. Not a biker hangout, so that often excludes me.

Smoke and Barrel is a «purveyor of fine whiskeys,» and there are a lot of whiskeys(drop the«e» for all you Scotch die-hards) to choose from in any of the following categories: Irish, Scotch, American, bourbon, rye, corn, single malts, blended. The are a few draft beers, including some selections from Boulevard and even an Arkansas brewery called Diamond Bear. The bottles are standard fare, but I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. On Mondays the drink specials(including $ 2 wells) last all day and this fact combined with the reasonable music volume, various corners and kinds of seating, and availability of board games made this a nice weeknight bar. The weekends feature Fayetteville’s indie-ish bands. It’s tastefully lit, which is more important than most people will admit.

I’ve been to Smoke and Barrel a few times and have always had an enjoyable time. It is a little bit of a different scene than most of the other Dickson street establishments, which is nice. They have a smattering of nooks about the place where you can enjoy friends and conversation. I just went today during happy hour and they had some good specials(see below). Additionally, on Mondays, those specials last for the whole day through the evening. They have an extensive list of whiskeys, a few cigars, and an admirable selection of bottled beers available if you don’t want to opt for mixed drinks or what is available on tap.

This is my favourite bar in Fayetteville! There are always wonderful beer specials and a stellar bar staff to make your drinks, jokes, and smiles. The interior is warm and woody, and everyone is welcoming. There is one pool table, and almost always a band playing. There are always board games, and sometimes scrabble or connect-four tournaments. Occasionally, Sunday nights are host to a movie screening or two. There’s also a no-smoking-inside policy, which is wonderful if you’re a non-smoker. The screened-in patio serves as the smoker’s haven, here.

An Indie bar with a small stage, pool table, lots of seating, and board games. Lots and lots of board games. A great week night bar, this place has high ceilings, timber framing, and an outdoor area that’s screened in for those smokers out there. It’s usually crowded on weekend nights, and you can pretty much count on a band playing then. They also tend to have a scrabble tournament every now and then. HAPPYHOUR, everyday 2 – 8: $ 2 Wells $ 1 Off Drafts $ 2 Domestic Bottles Monday: $ 2 Wells Tuesday: ½ price Wine Wednesday: 25% off ALLWHISKEYS Thursday: ½ off mixed, well shots Saturday: $ 4 Bloody Marys $ 3 Mimosas (only during happy hour) Sunday: FREEPOOL $ 1 off drafts $ 4 Bloody Marys $ 3 Mimosas
