In town to meet w a number of folks about apartment developments. In the mood for steak and decide to try Theos. My advice: don’t. Monday evening about 7:30. Slow night. I walk in and no one is at front l. Patrons are dining on my right. A few folks are at the bar on my left. I wait. Patiently. Then impatiently. No one ever greets me, asks if I want a table, etc. So, what the hell, I’ll sit at the bar. Which I do. BTW the bar seats are awful — after trying several. After about five minutes at the slow bar I catch the Bartender’s eye and ask if I can order dinner at the bar. She says yes and goes about her business. I wait. Patiently. Impatiently. Fifteen minutes. No one ever asks if I want a drink. Or dinner. Or anything. I’m in this place 25 minutes and no one ever offers service. Must not need my business. Oh well. Went next door to Bordolinos and spent $ 75. If you don’t want my business just tell me. Won’t be back here. Ever. Who cares what the food is like if the service sucks.

My husband and I dine at Theos for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. We make reservations ahead of time so that we can order the tasting menu with wine pairings. We have experienced tremendous menus which has made our special times very memorable.

Wild Boar Ravioli and the pork loin was suburb!!! Highly recommend these hot items. The drinks are great, but a bit pricey. I’d come back, but I’d suggest saving your drinkability for the next spot.

Theo’s is a great place for a cocktail. Their list is phenomenal. Over a few visits, I had the Bed of Roses(sublime), the Basil Gimlet, the Thin Man, the Lie to Me, the G&T, the Fleur-de-Lis(another highlight), and the Lemongrass NYC Sour, which was honestly one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. One night we stayed for dinner. The duck confit risotto was warming and delicious, and my friend loved her double cut pork chop. The dishes were as beautiful as they were tasty. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this one!

We just moved here from San Francisco and this is the best meal we’ve had since moving to Fayetteville! Comparable to meals in SF and other major cities. Great service, food and atmosphere. We had the Octopus, Duck Risotto, Filet and Crème Brûlée. Just excellent!

What a great night at Theo’s. Thursday night drinks for $ 5 and the food was perfectly prepared. I had the wild boar sausage ravioli and my mate had the mahi mahi special. They were both incredible and the service excellent. Go there!

Solid service, excellent and creative food preparation, and smoothly styled environment. Had the duck w/wild mushroom risotto and it was absolutely excellent. Duck was falling off the bone and risotto was creamy and flavorful. Cocktails are creative and effective. Overall, an honestly good establishment.

Maybe our favorite place in the world. A quiet, sophisticated bistro in the heart of the Ozarks. Knowledgable and talented wait staff(especially Jordan Ivey) make for a memorable and delicious meal. 5 stars!!! Every time!

Favorite restaurant in Fayetteville! The service, food, and drinks are always AMAZING! The atmosphere in Theo’s is really great… During warm seasons the patio is really fun to sit on for happy hour. Inside there is a lounge area, where we generally prefer to eat and a more intimate dining area as well. They have a really great happy hour they run that has both food and drink options. If you want to get some apps and drinks but not spend a ton, going early is the best option. Their dinner selections, however, are incredible so splurging isn’t a bad call either.

This is a great place to spend your night relaxing near Dickson. The food is great and so are the drinks. There is is a variety of seating: patio, bar, lounge, and restaurant. Parking can be tricky but they have valet parking that is very convenient. It might be a challenge to locate and park but it’s worth the effort. Delicious food, great service, and relaxing atmosphere. They are on the expensive side but they always have good specials and the menu is great!

We wanders in here late after a night crawling Dickson St, in search of some dessert to wrap it all up. So I can’t speak to the actual food on the menu, but we ordered some molten cake and a couple of dessert cocktails from the bartender. She was great, giving us the detail of what was in each of the very tasty drinks and confirming we could still get our choice of desserts before ordering. The cake and drinks were totally decadent and exactly what we wanted. Pricing was not a surprise considering how swanky the restaurant was. If we make it back to Fayetteville any time soon, we will have to try dinner here to round out the review.

Fayetteville’s quintessential date night/girls night out/party night place. The atmosphere is very sexy here. Great outdoor patio space, cute indoor lounge area and comfortable banquet style seating in the main dining room. The cocktails are very unique here. They do a Thursday special martini night and have some inventive options– all 5 bucks. Their Campbell cocktail(their unique take on an old fashioned) is a must try for bourbon drinkers. As for apps we got the BBQ pork and tuna tartar– both great great standbys and would recommend. We shared a salad with the fried goat cheese– very tasty At $ 32 the filet is to die for! I got mine rare and it was super buttery. It comes with mashed potatoes and a choice for a second side and they allow you to swap the mashed so I got the mushrooms(tasted like candy) and the brocolini. Our server recommended ordering it with chili sauce which was fantastic. Dessert was the chocolate molten cake with caramel which we were assured was homemade, the Carmel was definitely from package. My one criticism which takes this place from 5 stars down to 4 stars is not enough local farm offerings. Ak has amazing hydroponic greens, mushrooms, also organic and high quality wild caught fish would be a great addition to their menu. Of course this would also bring up prices, but would be interesting to see if people are willing to pay for quality.

Valet parking. Service was excellent. Reservation on time. Seated and served promptly. Starters are excellent and our favorite was a pork shoulder with slaw. Yes, a starter. Salads were inventive and excellent. Filets cooked as ordered and moist. Fish was fresh. Outside dining if you wish. We dined inside and very conversation friendly with great service.

Not only was the food great, the service was awesome! We made a reservation for 4 on the Arkansas v. Georgia weekend. A few hours before or reservation time, we wanted to add two more to our table. We called and they said it couldn’t happen. When we arrived, we asked again. Again, they said they were just too booked but they would reserve a table for our extra two in the bar(and they typically don’t do that). But, the hostesses weren’t done yet. They scrambled around and when there a cancellation, they moved an empty table up against ours and we were able to eat with our extra two! They could’ve just forgotten about us… I mean, we were already there and going to spend money. But, they went above and beyond to help us out! Thanks Girls! The salmon with the cranberry sauce and spaghetti squash was phenomenal! It will become my new«regular» meal when we are in town for ball games. Wine selection is great, waitress was attentive, but not bothersome, and very knowledgeable. You need to make your reservations waaaaay in advance because this place books up. It’s that good.

Oh Theo’s…Oh Theo’s…you have a LOT of potential. Even more so if you are properly staffed… I would definitely give our(second round) of food a 5 star. OK, so here’s the deal. It’s hard to write this review b/c everything had to be done twice — and that is so disappointing overall, BUT before I go on, I do want the readers to know that Theo’s manager and GM both were amazing and made our experience as good as it could have been making up for all the lack of service we received for the first hour or so that we were there. That is why this is not a 1 – 2 star review. I just hate that any of the«bad» even had to happen b/c the good was GREAT. I would DEFINITELY go back — I’ll start there. The food was memorable in a way that leaves a great impression but our service really put us off on the wrong foot and stayed that way EVEN after we complained to the hostess. Our waiter Erik was such a big disappointment, that he single handedly ruined what could have been our best meal out the whole time my friend and I were visiting Arkansas last week. We went on a Wednesday night at the recommendation of our local girlfriends and celebrating our lasts night in town. They raved about Theo’s and we sat outside on the patio(it was a cool 75 degrees and it was crowded). They were CLEARLY overwhelmed and we considered ourselves patient as we had to wait… and wait… and wait. We asked for a pitcher of water(no they can’t do that). OK, can you do TWO glasses(yes we can, but it was never brought). Hummus was ordered and the amount of hummus to dippers was WAY off, so we ask for more dippers(no problem… NEVEREVER came… ever — the whole time). All of us except for one ordered steaks(two medium-rare and one medium) …almost an hour went by before our food came and when it did, the veggies were cold and the steaks waaaaaaaaaaay overdone. I will say that once the 2nd set of steaks were brought, it was NOT the chef’s fault. I imagine they are right on EVERY time but our waiter never brought the food and it sat in the window MUCH too long, while our steaks were still cooking on the hot plate. This was when we asked for a manager and both came over. They were rockin’ awesome. Our waiter(Erik) was still completely oblivious to his actions and asked if we wanted to box up our left over(uneaten b/c it got old) hummus and(badly cooked) steaks while we waited on our fresh food. Um… no dude. We’ll take more drinks(never came). SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH. This guy was just NOT getting it. Serving might NOT be his bag. Not really sure what was going on but it was incredibly frustrating. When the steaks came out the 2nd time, they were PERFECT… I mean, MOUTH watering and delicious. I got the butter lump crab on mine and it was INCREDIBLE. My asparagus was fine and the potatoes were well worth the carb intake. Overall, DELISH and I would certainly order again! The managers continually checked on us and apologized. It was unnecessary at that point for them to continue coming by but they were worried and stressed and I could tell they definitely cared. I appreciate this so much as I’m in the service business too! They SAVED our meal by also sending out four different delectable desserts. LOVED the chocolate brownie bowl and crème brûlée was good(but not the best I’ve ever had). Then… never in my life have I experienced this, they comped our WHOLE meal(everything!!). They paid for our dinner on the house and profusely thanked us for our patience. It goes to show that when you aren’t pitching a HUGE fit and acting foolish, restaurant owners/managers will step up and do the right thing. I know some folks would throw and cuss/leave and never come back but just a simple conversation and a sympathetic consideration for our feelings along with doing the right thing made up for what could have been a disastrous experience. They really DIDNOT have to pay for our meals but it was so amazing that they did. They paid it forward that night and we really did enjoy our 2nd go at the meal and the food was so good and the unexpected kindness of the two managers made us feel all very connected. I felt their pain and they felt ours. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and would go back if I ever am back in the area. I just would NOT recommend Erik. He is oblivious and not good at all at keeping up with a four top. He certainly didn’t SEEM to care and even at one point told the hostess he wasn’t our server! It was ridiculous. So avoid Erik and give the steaks a try. YUUUUM.

This is one of my very favorite places to eat when I’m in the area. The happy hour specials are really a good deal. I’ve always enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service at Theo’s. The last time I was in I had the Oyster Po Boy. My initial plan of eating the filling and leaving the bread went right out the window after the first bite. The sandwich was just perfect. The oysters were lightly breaded and fried, the tomatoes were perfectly red(in January no less!), and the spicy sauce served on the side was an excellent accompaniment. When I ordered that sandwich I was really looking forward to fries, sometimes a girl just has to have some fries! When my plate arrived, it came with chips. I got the attention of our server and said«I thought this came with fries.» Her response, «I’ll get you some right away.» I still don’t know if it was my mistake or the kitchen’s but it really doesn’t matter, rather than question anything our server took care of it. That is excellent service and I appreciate it!
