Coming from a person who has been to this establishment 50 – 60 times over the last 10 years I would consider myself and expert on this place. I go because the area has little options for karaōke and there is a wealth of other bars on Dickson street. First the good. At least at the time of this writing the bar tenders have been there for a while and are good people. The song selection is good and they have wireless mikes. The bad. This bar is smoky, very smoky. Don’t go here unless you want to help them filter the air by breathing. The seating isn’t very good and hasn’t been updates in at least as long as I have been going. But the worst part is the djs or hosts who will basically only allow you to sing if you tip. And dont get me wrong I do tip quite often but most recently when I was here they were asking for 10 – 20 bucks for a song. Then even during crowded times they will still sing themselves and the owner just allows this to happen. I have to say I have stopped coming here even though I have spent multiple birthdays here and have been a regular attendy for a decade. It’s not worth it anymore.

Why don’t you list a working phone number? A jacket was left at your establishment September 12. Numerous people have been calling trying to pick up the jacket. The phone is never answered, off hours or business hours. Please respond.

The bar itself was pretty good, no complaints. However, if you’re not a regular and want to sing — be prepared to wait, and a very long time. The bouncer stepped away from the door to sing 3x and 3 other«friends» sang 2−3x before my name was called. This was even with giving a tip when requesting my song. Typically with Karaōke bars, singers are repeated only if no one new has signed up. Not here. You could be the best singer in the world, but at karaōke, no one wants to hear you sing more than once. Have fun then let the next guy up.

Will P. and Matt H. I don’t know what your problems are or what you did that night to make you have a bad experience, but I have gone there about a dozen times over the years and have never had to give a tip to the DJ to be able to sing ever. I don’t know if you are from a competitor Karaōke place or what but what you are say is BS, complete BS. I have had a great time every visit, may I suggest you a different Karaōke place in the future and do some comparing. Sorry, I do not usually leave Unilocal Reviews ever, but I just couldn’t leave this one alone.

For Karaōke or just a place to hang out with friends this place is great. I’ve been frequenting Uno’s for 6 – 7 years and it’s always lots of fun. There is always a good mix of different types of folks who come in and I think that has helped it not to become a «trendy» night club but rather a place for locals to come, relax, and meet new friendly people.
