Great food, great prices for local place. Love the variety. Service is fine. No conplaints except a little noisy at times if seated in bar area.

The chicken Marsala was fabulous. I was disappointed with the Sinatra, especially for the price of the meal. Overall, I have had some really good meals there. Much better than the«chain» restaurants. I would take my family or friends there and would not think twice about doing so.

Good variety on menu and good service. We had lunch there today when a party of 100 arrived and had a very good meal. We enjoyed this month’s London specialities. Oysters were good. Salad was good. Beverage selection was good.

3 stars for me is solid. I gone here on a regular basis. I would say about once a month. Maybe 10 times a year. My dad really enjoys sitting at the bar. He really likes the bartender, Indo. The chicken wings are pretty good. I really like their crab salad. A good amount of crab on the salad and a lot times ask for anchovies. I have had their kabobs here and that’s a pretty food dish. I’m not a big fan of their wedge salad. It’s just a big sheet of lettuce. Hard to cut and not an enjoyable experience. The soup specials are normally pretty good. I have had the duck here which has been good. I have also had the tuna steak. Also solid, not amazing however This can be a solid date place if you live in the area and you already know your lady likes Toscana’s. Their cappuccino is pretty good for dessert I recently had a beef stew that was very average. I’ve been here many times. Food wise I’ve never had a great meal here. But I’ve also never had a bad meal. It’s a solid restaurant

Nothing more to say except this is the best restaurant in Bensalem. Period. End of discussion. The people who own this are beyond nice. They will make anything you want and change it up if you ask. Genuine Italian. Like being in Italy. just a place that everyone in Bensalem needs to visit. Again this is the best restaurant in all of Bensalem. Don’t hesitate to take a business associate or your date or partner for a special dinner. Don’t bring the kids! Seriously. It’s not for kids or kid friendly. It’s special. Very special. Enjoy!!!

The prices are a little too high. Seems to aim for fine dining, but doesn’t reach it completely. It’s loud & jam-packed with décor and furnishings. Patrons feel OK to wear baseball caps while eating. The food was better than anticipated, but: The blue cheese dressing was more like a creamy vinaigrette & the wedge salad had a tomato stem chunk. The lobster bisque tasted great, but when a small shred of lobster was finally found it had some firm cartilage/shell attached. The crab cheesecake appetizer is actually a mini-soufflé. The«cucumber fresco» it came with was a tiny garnish of thinly shaved cuke with half a cherry tomato. It was less than a mouthful. The asparagus appetizer says it has white & green asparagus — we only got green. It says it has a parmesan panna cotta… it was just over an inch in diameter(tiny). Everything did taste just fine, though. Nothing was wrong with the preparation. The portions weren’t all that generous for the prices paid. There are a lot of dessert choices, and the 2 we had were good. The waitress was in robot mode, and was very loud, although she was trying. She introduced herself twice and explained the specials twice & brought a drink that wasn’t ordered, asked questions and didn’t listen to the responses — lots of little things, really. And then, the debacle in the sewer-stank restroom: The auto-flush toilet went off when I leaned forward to wipe, so my rear(and presumably the back of my clothes) got wet. I mean, this toilet was a geyser. Of course then I had to lean over the toilet to flush the GD thing when I was actually finished & after I had semi-dried myself off. I stepped back right away so I wouldn’t get sprayed again and smashed my temple on the stupid coat/purse-hanger on the back of the stall door. It’d be a lot funnier if it didn’t make me want to file a lawsuit.

This is a top notch restaurant. I have been here several times and the food is amazing. Great prices for what you get and the service is excellent. This is the best Italian restaurant around. We dined here on Mother’s Day with a party of 9. Fantastic. Fried Calamari appetizer, Mozarella Flambee excellent, all entrees were perfect. I recommend any seafood items, lamb, veal, filet all great. Tiramisu and Crème Brule my dessert favorites. Keep up the good work

I have been here on dates and also for catered parties in a private area and every time I have been here I have been very satisfied. Love the special menu idea. It is very unique the way they rotate areas for each week. My favorite part is the atmosphere they have created it is gorgeous inside and great mood lighting. The food is delicious too don’t get me wrong but the atmosphere really draws me in. Highly recommend especially for the area.

Above average Italian food compared to other area restaurants. Last experience was a little off as apps came out 5 minutes apart. Filet Sinatra was tasteless, but the pear filled pasta dish my date got was amazing although it could almost be a dessert. I enjoyed the warm crab cheesecake app and they make a good Russian Mule.

After many good visits, today’s lunch was a joke. New waiter? Fine, but pair up with someone. Guy messed up the order, brought out wrong dish, charged for wrong beer, and had the balls to state that he «just wrote the order down wrong». Was apologetic, sure. But listen man, I’m not gonna make a scene in front of my wife. You made a mistake, at least take it off the bill. This is how you loose customers.

First off, the stuffed mushrooms are the best ever outside if New England! Sausage and cheese stuffing instead if traditional crab stuffed mushrooms, really good! The service was great, my waiter Sean was very informed and helped navigate a really big menu, it was hard to choose! The waiter was very proud if the place, even boasting how everything was fresh and that there was bit a microwave in the kitchen! For an entrée I went with a Bronzini special. It was very good! The place us really big, but still comfortable and casual, and the menu feels fresh and authentic. Many options but still unique and different(Belgian flounder marinated in beer??), I would definitely return! I don’t do 5 stars on Unilocal often, but I really liked this gem! Nice surprise on my travels across the country!

Tantalized taste buds! Wow!!! Wow! First our waitress was exceptional, service was fast and with a smile! Each appetizer was delicious! The muscles were savory and a little epic kicked it up a notch! The stuffed mushrooms were tender and hot and the sausage and cheese inside were perfectly blended! The crab cheesecake was also hot, crispy and flavorful! Then the pasta entrée came out and topped everything we had before that! They have created a masterpiece — they created pasta sachets with ricotta cheese inside and topped with pears and an unbelievable sauce — walnut champagne cream sauce! Sweet and savory! Wow! Now I know I can get amazing Italian without having to go to Center City!

I will never come back to this place again. The food was absolutely horrendous from start to finish. Asked for gluten free pasta and was served regular. The waitresses messed up the entire order we had. I made a complaint to the manager and he didn’t do anything to rectify the situation. My friend also got food poisoning from eating here.

The boss took us out to dinner as a way of saying thanks and to celebrate the holidays. I was expecting a good experience based on comments from my coworkers and favorable Unilocal reviews. I ordered the Filet Sinatra which was comprised of a 10 oz. filet mignon with jumbo lump crab in a cognac cream sauce. It was served with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. The entire dish came out cold and woefully under seasoned. What they did to that filet can only be described as criminal. It was cold and gray inside, and cooked to within an inch of its life. Not a discernible amount of moisture could be detected. The only thing that made that piece of shoe leather edible was the bland cream sauce.(I ordered it medium rare btw). Somehow they determined this dish should be priced at $ 36.99. Good thing the boss was picking up the tab or I would’ve been pissed. I see no convincing reason to return On a positive note the place is beautiful. 2.5 stars…

We came in for dinner after looking for a restaurant to eat near the hotel. First, I wouldn’t recommend taking your kids to this restaurant because of the dim lighting throughout the restaurant. The ambience is set for romance and I had to take my kid out couple of times so I don’t ruin it for others. They do have a long list of menu items and you might get lost in it. I took a recommendation from my server — seafood with pasta. The food wasn’t bad but can be limited in quantity depending in what you order. I saw orders where i was like wow you can finish that. Unfortunately for me I left still half full. But don’t expect to find your favorite Olive Garden dish here because they copyright their dishes…- The server told us that.

My family and I were quite surprised by this establishment. A little Italian gem hidden off of street road, right out of Bensalem. First off, we called to make a reservation to realize when we got to the restaurant that we had to wait an extra 10 – 15 min beyond the reservation since they were clearly over populated. Why take a reservation, if you can’t keep the reservation? On the flip side, we ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer, and it was an immaculate starter. The calamari was not greasy as it usually is at most restaurants and it was accompanied by marinas and cocktail sauce. A very unique take on the dish. For the dinner entrée, I ordered the linguine with clams and it was quite delicious, but my gf ordered the dish, ricotta cheese with seafood and it was absolutely to die for. I wish I have ordered that dish, but mine was very good, regardless. For dessert, We got the vanilla pudding with fruit which was a really good dessert to select off of the tray considering I was already full. I highly recommend this restaurant but the location is kind of in a weird location, but well worth the trip and wait.

After trying to find an Italian restaurant in the Bensalem area, this place got fairly positive Unilocal reviews, so we decided to check this place out on a Saturday night. The place was packed with barely a spot in the parking lot. We still had to wait about 10 minutes for our table after making a reservation earlier in the day. The dining room is your old-school linen napkin Italian restaurant with low lighting and very busy aisles. They have a full bar including some specialty cocktails. The menu is fairly expansive and each week they feature specials from a different region of Italy(Rome, Amalfi Coast, Naples, etc) which is a nice touch. They have the standard pasta classics, steaks, seafood, and some inventive menu options like champagne pasta ravioli. They give a herb butter w/the complentary bread which was delicious. We split an appetizer of calamari which was well seasoned and crispy but didn’t feel overly fried. Definitely recommended! I wish we had gotten two orders. I got seafood manicotti(ricotta, shrimp, scallops) which was amazing. Two flaky baked crepes stuffed with generous helpings of seafood. Others got linguini and clams which was also very good. Another got the tilapia w/asparagus and risotto cake. The risotto was a deep fried small cake which wasn’t waht I was expecting. They came out with a very large desert tray with your standard Italian classics(cannoli, crème brûlée, fudge cake) but I was too stuffed to eat anything. Service was good. Prices reasonable for the type/quantity of food($ 12 – 25). I would certainly make a return visit.

I have been to this place twice now. My friends I was with have been there 5 – 6 times. We come into town for an event annually and this seems to always be a must stop for us. It is right by our hotel and it is open on the later side. The service is ok. We always get seated right away. The sangria is pretty good and the food is always consistently good. I usually get pasta. This time I added salmon to my ravioli and it was great. They also are friendly when accommodating larger parties.

What does the word reservation mean anymore? I made a reservation for a Sunday night and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. This needs to be corrected or being able to make reservations needs to be removed. Other than that, food and waitress service was great. The lobster bisque is wonderful, not too salty and the wedge salad is good but very plentiful. I would share this with a big table The italian sushi: shrimp elegante was great. I love the seasoning on this, it’s fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of tangy. My entrée was thick spaghetti with meatballs. The noodles were good but the sauce and meatballs need more work. The sauce needs more salt and seasoning and the meatballs were verrrrry dry even with the cheese in the middle. My mom got the seafood risotto with the fra diavlo sauce which was AMAZING. Plentiful of seafood even though the mussel meat was verrrrry tiny

Ambience: Gorgeous restaurant. I’ll post a picture. Service: We had a good waiter. He was attentive yet not overbearing. Food: We started with the Calamari and Fried Zucchini appetizer. The calamari was on point. Crispy, yet soft inside. The zucchini was soggy and oily. Not good. For dinner, I had the Cacciucco. It was as good as I had expected. Deliciously seasoned with seafood that was perfectly cooked. My husband had the Veal Parmesan. It was yummy… but again, just as expected. We also ordered a side of Broccoli Rabe. It was overcooked, wilted and under seasoned. Will not order again. Why I gave this restaurant 4 instead of 5? Well, our experience was good and worthy of a review. But overall, it just didn’t blow me away to deserve a 5⁄5 rating. I would definitely come back and try more of what Toscana 52 has to offer. The menu is extensive with so many other dishes I would love to try.
