Service was good, but ordered the Cod! Should have known better, but ordered seafood in chain restaurants before and it was great. Absolutely awful here ! Gummy and undercooked, honestly tasted like it had been reheated or left out for most of the day. The accompanying angel hair pasta was gelatinous, with a thick unflavored sauce. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

The food was ok. Not great but edible. However the service was lacking. We had three adults who all ordered soup and salad. The wait time between servings was a good 15 minutes. Once we were able to reorder the food did come fairly quick. The entire problem was thee waitress. My advice, don’t come here on Sunday. And avoid Erica

My husband and I had a great experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent! We both agreed that this was the best restaurant we had been to in a long time and we will definitely go back again and recommend it to our family and friends.

Food So Cheap, Feels So Chain!!! Everything was edible. Service meh. Prices high for the quality of the meal and service. NE Restaurant Co. Inc., Bertucci’s current owner, now probably employs many of the same cost-saving strategies as The Darden Group(Olive Garden), maybe even the same pre-prep food suppliers. The latest profit-driven, soulless process is to make/cook as much of every food item as poss. offsite and truck it in, assemble it and serve. The Insalata side salad ingredients seemed fresh, although it only featured cheap jar olives, tasteless Romano cheese sprinkles, iceberg lettuce cores included, no red onion AND the waitress didn’t save the dressing in the to-go container, as was requested. Some dense, small, tough, doughy rolls were also supplied. They were really floury on the outside. I’ve baked better freezer rolls from the grocery store in my home oven(not a brick oven). Small, lightweight pizzas with an overly chewy crust. Flavor just O.K. One had tiny mushroom slices, a boring, almost flavor-free marinara, and very light cheese. The BBQ chicken one had a lot of sweet but good bbq sauce, just too much of it. The caramelized onions were really flavorful, and the mozzarella cheese quantity was adequate. They’ve been disappointing me since the original four cheese ravioli(including smoked mozzarella!) with Italian sausage was pulled from the menu in the 90s. It was about 4,000 calories of heart-stopping heaven. Now it just sucks.

Our meals were beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. The service was on point, fast, courteous service and a comfortable atmosphere. I really love this. place. We had the 3 for 20 meals: four cheese ravioli, ceasar Salad and chocolate chip cookie. Chicken marsala, minestrone soup and a brownie with ice cream. Lastly the Grilled Salmon and the cranberry Apple crisp. Our server Noël made sure we had fresh rolls and coffee. The Restaurant was busy but she made sure to check on us several times. She was a breath of fresh air after a day of work. Great food and fabulous service. Thanks for a great dining experience.

I just had lunch here with my family. The food was ok but the service was terrible. We had 7 adults and 3 toddlers. We weren’t offered bread which I thought was odd. Our appetizers were served without plates(I asked for them but it took another 5 mins). There were only 4 or 5 tables so it wasn’t particularly busy. When we finished our entrée, the server asked if we were ready for our check… No inquiry about dessert, boxes for leftovers, etc. Even though 3 of ours meals included a dessert! We ordered dessert which was brought out without an attempt to clear the table. So we had all our plates and food on the table and she brings our desserts out. Of course I wasn’t thrilled by this point and didn’t feel like leaving a big tip. I left 12% and she came back saying that there is a mandatory 18% for parties larger than 8. I told her my rationale but to no accord. I was a food server for many years so I respect the work(when done right) and understand the need for tips(and gladly pay for good service) … Gratuity is for good service. If it is mandatory(which is against the law as far as I know) then add it to the food. I would have asked for the manager if I didn’t have 3 tired toddlers with me. I will definitely not be returning to this place.

Completely disappointed and this place should SHUTDOWN. The poor bartender is our waiter and the hostess, the manager, the owner, the parking attendant. He is everything and a simple dinner was over 2 hours. They need to shut down as they can’t keep up with demand. I’m contacting corporate HQ to let them know how disgraceful their service at this location is. 1 star is not accurate, I had to select one start to write this, they actually owe me stars. SHUTDOWN.

Our waitress was the best I think her name was Maria! She was so funny and sweet. The mozzarella sticks are to die for you must try them!!!

I usually haunt the Bertuccis in Cherry Hill, Nj. This was my first time at the one in Neshaminy/Trevose. Our server was a sweetie. She did violate the cardinal rule: She forced a big man in a booth. We did Have a big party so only one star off. The prices were a bit high for the portion content. They use the Olive garden«fill you on bread and salad» then serve a smaller portion. One star off there. The remaining 3 stars? The food is great. The speed of the service was wonderful.

I have been to other bertuccis several years ago and this was the first time at this location. The décor is way off and not reminiscent of any other location or of a pizza/Italian restaurant. I had the lunch chicken alfredo and I think I have had better from the frozen dinner section at the supermarket. Very bland. The white pizza with veggies was decent but no better than any local place can do for cheaper.

I like Bertuccis. Way better than Olive Garden. We’ve dined here and taken out food. We enjoy the salads, pizza & pasta dishes. My husband likes the Ultimate Bertucci pizza and chicken Granati. I enjoy the chicken piccata & four cheese ravioli. Is it thee best Italian food you will ever eat? God, no. But it’s decent. Service here has always been good. Unlike OG which is only good for their salad & breadsticks, the entrees here are pretty good.

Food was very good — the warm rolls were awesome but had to refuse a second serving because I would have eaten them all for sure. I had the Maryland crab cakes(I live in CA and I can’t find good actual Maryland style crab cakes). The cakes had alota of crab, a little on the soft side(vs being more like a patty) but tasty. Subbed broccoli for green beans as I prefer broccoli. The Caesar salad was the only disappointment as it had a little too much dressing. It was a stormy night so it was slow. The waitress didn’t realize I was seated so took a little long to be greeted but otherwise very good and quick service.

I just had a great experience in this restaurant. Stay-C was our waiter. He was awesome and very attentive and SO nice. We ordered lunch specials and everything was fresh and tasted good and was cooked to the perfect eating temperature.

The food was very bland, not how I remembered it years ago. The pizza use to be actually made in a brick oven where you can see it being baked, now it’s just made in a regular oven. Lacking flavor. Also it seems like they don’t specialize in pizza anymore. Very limited pizza menu. Not the same taste. The only good food they had was the grilled Tuscan chicken. The sausage soup was bland and oily, I only could taste the mozzarella cheese that was on top for garnishment. The chicken Marsala did not taste like Marsala just chicken with brown gravy and the chicken piccata was very very bland. I was very disappointed. The waiter was excellent. I will not be returning to this franchise anymore. I wish I just went somewhere else.

I came here for dinner with my family and Sarah G was our server. Who’s is the worst server I have ever had in my life. We received our order 3 plates first then 15 minutes later the other 3. The table across from us was getting graded cheese on their pasta, constant check up on water and other needs. Our table was never offered any and that after she served our food. I had to get up and go to the bar to grab my water and coke. Which thankfully the bartender didn’t charge me for the coke. I don’t know what to say, cause at the end I had to walk up to the host to get to go boxes too. I don’t know if it was cause we aren’t the right color or what. Anyways I know for sure I’m not going back there. Thanks for the service Sara G don’t spend all of your .20 cent tip, you deserve it.

Not bad for a chain, as I oft find myself saying when I dine in a chain. I may be in the minority that prefers bertucci’s to the OG, if I had to choose between the two. For any restaurant that identifies as being Italian, the bread best be good. I’m happy to report the rolls were warm, delicious, and served with seasoned olive oil. Score! We got mozzarella fritta as an app, and it was delish. My entrée, not so much. I ordered the jambalaya fettuicini and found it to be bland and watery. My aunt ordered the rigatoni abbruzzi with looked to be very good. If I’m forced to dine at a chain, I won’t terribly mind if it’s this one.

This is my first ever review in Unilocal!I am one of those users who definitely reads Unilocal reviews but does not login And write a review! When we decided to dine in bertuccis, little did we know we would be subjected to such bad attitude as well as bad food… Not only was our waiter extremely rude, I had to send back the entrée as it was not cooked properly, in return they did not even offer to replace it. though it was not added to the bill, I was left without food on my plate and left the restaurant with an empty stomach.

Burnt like black burnt bread that was turned over like we wouldn’t notice, spinach salad that was soaked in their dressing. I know it’s a chain, but really burning the bread and still serving it. The waitress was nice she took the salad off the check. I did love, love their butternut squash pizza, was awesome.

One word! GROSS! I ordered rigatoni in a wine sauce with grilled chicken and the only sauce it had was that starchy sauce from the water it was boiled in. Our server was extremely brief with us and the whole experience was weird. Not good at all folks.

Came here for lunch with some coworkers. They swear by the margherita pizza here. I now know they are officially insane. I had better pizza in a school cafeteria. I opted for a salad, being that I’m not supposed to eat wheat(I did try a few bites of the pizza for research purposes), so Italian places are admittedly the worst for me. I chose a cobb salad with grilled chicken, dressing on the side, figuring this would be a safe bet. What I received was literally hilarious. I had to try hard not to laugh and be rude to my coworkers, who genuinely like this place. It was an enormous bowl of shredded iceberg lettuce, I’m talking a whole head at least, topped with 1⁄3 of a grilled chicken breast(which was tasty, but couldn’t they spring for at least ½ the breast?), a sliced boiled egg(fine), a copious amount of diced raw zucchini(WTF?), a sprinkling of diced cucumbers(k), sad little translucent chunks of tomato(ick), and chunks of bleu cheese(fine). Questionably mayo-ey bleu cheese dressing on the side. It was not exactly delicious. Never again.
