Sushi Yume

My wife and I visited Sushi Yume on January 29^th, 2016 around 7:30pm and were greeted when we entered the double doors. We have been going to Sushi Yume for several years and had the best waiter ever. Our waiter whose name I made appoint to get at the end of our visit served us not only with speed and care but with pride. When our food finally arrived our waiter Ryan (cool hair cut too LOL!) said something like «Wow, your food looks so good I want to eat it!» This showed my wife and I how much their wait staff enjoys and truly have a fun experience whilst at work. Ryan, my hat is off to you because you were no ordinary just come to work to pay the bills type employee. Ryan you are the type of employee that represents Sushi Yume with the type of enthusiasm and work ethic that I hope to see anywhere I spend my and my wifes’ hard earned money! We will keep coming back for the fabulous environment, deliciously sapid food, and phenomenal service.

This is the closest sushi place to my home. I love that they deliver! My only complaint is that the soy sauce has a weird taste, but the sushi is delicious! They have good specials and often give coupons.

Delicious sushi at a great price. I can see how many might be skeptical of strip-​mall sushi in Colorado, but I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times and tried most of the fish they offer (nigiri) and a few different rolls. Never had a bad piece.

This place is so cute and you wouldn’t even know it if you just walked by on a random day. It’s very modern, clean, and the atmosphere is professional. The lighting is dark, which creates a close-​feeling mood. The music is as if I plugged my iTunes into the speakers in that there is a balance of soft coffee shop songs with peppy ones. The waitstaff is beyond professional and kind. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend.

I am scarred for life. After eating the golden muscles on Saturday I ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. I used to love this place, but after that experience I will never be back.

Solid. All I have to say. This place was great. I went in on a whim and ordered a lunch bento box for like $ 10 and got more food than I could eat at a quality rivaling that of places WAAAYYY more expensive. Service is almost too friendly which was refreshing. Will return soon I know it.

Was turned onto this place by my neighbor and it has become my go to place. The food is excellent and fresh. Have not had a bad item yet and try something new every time I go. The service is excellent!

Came to sushi yume because my favorite sushi guy was not working that day at my regular spot. I remember driving by here and wanting to try it so in desperation I decided to buy two rolls just to try it out.
I’m glad it was only two rolls because they did not taste good. It was like the rolls they give you at the Chinese buffet. It tasted and smelled old, NOT FRESH AT ALL.
I didn’t really want to eat the rest. The avocados were already looking a little brown around the edges.
Will not be back to this restaurant, was not satisfied

Love this sushi place! My husband and I come for lunch bento boxes and the food is always fresh and generous. My husband is a vegetarian and the sweet waitress replaced the California roll to the avocado roll and the shumai to a veg spring roll.

My wife loves sushi. Because I love her I have learned to love sushi. This is the place. Great service, great selection, everything was perfect.
Miso soup was delicious. I am not an expert on sushi, but this Iowa farm boy enjoyed his meal. The staff was very helpful in helping me make a great choice. Fresh, fresh and fresh.

IT’S OFFICIAL: Sushi Yume is sushi yucky! This last round was everything sushi should not be: highly questionable freshness, soggy nori, crunchy rice and sloppy presentation.
Ironically, the staff seemed friendlier, so some bizarre trade agreement must have been forged in the off-​season.
I have a strong constitution and as it did not come naturally, I considered numerous ways of inducing myself to vomit so-​as-​to rid my body of this gastronomic affront.
I would rather eat vending machine sushi from an abandoned gas station than subject myself to another round of this nastiness.
Supermarket, ready-​to-​eat sushi beats the pants off this feculence. It is safe to say, I will never venture down this road again. Someone, please pass the Ipecac.

Low grade Sushi as are many places around the metro area. If you really want Sushi that’s a little better than the grocery store then this will do. If you want good or great Sushi stick to the pricer places.

We go here at least once a week. The sushi is good quality. It seemed like they had a lot of turnover and inexperienced staff for a while, but now have some great wait staff working there. We used to get an occasional free bottle of Sake when I drove my Porsche 911 there. Not anymore :(

Very consistent food wise. Very fresh sushi and sashimi. Definitely my favorite sushi place on the north side. The Bento Box deals can’t be beat. I would love to give them 5 stars but, there has been some staff turnover, so it can be hit or miss service wise. However they always give a coupon for the next visit if they screw up.

Great sushi for a great price. Love the happy hour concept applied to the food as well. It allowed me to indulge in an extra roll. I’ve done take out here 3 times so far and always happy with the quality and taste of everything I’ve had here. Any time I’m in this area I’m sure to dine at least once here.

Worst sushi I have ever had. Even the fried rice was terrible. We didn’t finish our meal and left ! It was that bad. Heck I’ve had better sushi at king soopers!

Walk in at 8:45pm (hours are 11am to 10pm) The place was dead! And the guy at the door was not friendly, he ask if we can do a to go order. We were okay with. We ordered and he was like that’s it!
I am like really!!! You’re laughing at my order? I see why your place is dead, because of your shity service. First and last and last time here.
P.S food taste old what a waste of my time and money!

It was okay. I’ve had much better sushi, but I would probably come back again and the staff was very nice
