Dash Point Highlands Child Care & Learning Center was formerly called Country Bear Child Care. I had no idea what I was going to do with my then 3 month old when I had to go back to work in a month. I just knew I couldn’t put her in a day care center. Somehow I was lucky enough to find Pauline’s name and number because she doesn’t advertise because she’s always full from referrals! If your lucky enough to find a spot here, take it! Pauline and Jeff have completely transformed their home to cater to young children! Every where you look there are opportunities for little ones to learn through play, imagination, nature, and art! They have even created an art studio for the kids! Leaving your babies here is like leaving them with a trusted family member; children are given a healthy dose of love, guidance, encouragement, structure, and firmness (when needed) to grow into confident, loving, inquisitive, and engaged school age kids. My daughter is 9 and still asks to go back on days there is no school and during summer breaks. It is such a relief to be able to leave your child someplace you know that they love and are excited to be at. Dash Point HIghlands Child Care is that kind of place! Don’t be surprised if some days your child cries when it’s time to go home with you!
