This use to be a friendly, helpful location but those days are long gone. They have a counter called«customer service» — and I am thinking they need to rethink the term. I was looking for those clips that hold lapel pins on(think of back of a tie tack). I patiently waited at customer service while the customer and customer service person talked about ads or something and finally my turn. I showed her what I wanted and was told, «I think it might be in the jewelry section». Really I think — and it might be. Shouldn’t customer service call someone to be sure so I don’t spend 15 minutes looking only to be told Oh — then it might be !!! She was not a friendly person and definitely not helpful. NOTE — I did what I have learned is the way to get help today — I called the manager and she helped me find it — yes it was in the Jewelry section but I probably would not have located it with all the choices.

This is a regular stop for me for work and for fun projects. The staff do their best to help you find the right items quickly and to help you find solutions to craft problems, recommend books, let you know about what’s on sale. The only thing to improve it would be to have more in-depth classes. The classes they do have will often see you headed home with a completed project or nearly done.

I am EXTREMELY impressed with the improvement in customer service at all the Jo-Ann stores. It used to be you had to hunt down and tackle somebody to get any help, but now people in the store actually come up to you and ask if you need anything! And when you have questions, they don’t act like you are annoying them any more! They have a great selection of fabrics, and if you get the coupons, very affordable.

Worlds worst customer service! Yes, they have a large variety and good prices but I’m pretty much finished with this store. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a one time occurance… They do have employees who are nice but they are overwhelmed and management doesn’t help them out and just lets them flounder. Also, if they screw up your framing order(they put a rip in a picture on my last order) it’s now your fault(even though you sign a piece of paper stating the condition) and tough. Also, they can’t staff the framing department because there isn’t enough business but yet the wait time is still 14 days!!! WTF? Have never been a fan of Micheal’s but I guess I’ll have to reconsider.

Love this place… All the employees are helpful and most know what they’re talking about. The store is large and well-organized. Careful though– It’s easy to spend $ 100 without even trying! They have good prices, but lots of little things add up fast! A major plus: They have an amazing art selection at this location!

This place is okay. They don’t hire many people to help you out. When I tried purchasing an item at the little customer service desk, they told me to go somewhere else to check out. I was the only customer there. so it wasn’t like i was trying to get further ahead in line nor was there anyone behind me needing customer service. Anyway, they do have a nice selection of artsy type stuff and the store is pretty big for how much traffic they get.

The ladies here are super helpful! There wasn’t just one person trying to help me, but all of them. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, but got creative and I was able to improvise except the improvising turned out to be the better way to go! Instead of shelling out another $ 50 for a new item, I only had to cough up $ 5. I didn’t have a coupon, but she gave me one — otherwise I would have spent $ 11. Talk about fabulous customer service.
