Joann Fabric and Craft Stores

Wow, this is a huge Joann store, compared to my local one. Lots and lots of variety. Really good service by the employees. There are a lot of customers here, so be ready to wait, but they try to get to you quickly and have a number system for fabric cutting customers. They also have a queue for check-​out.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but one star here is a stretch. Horrible customer service and a pain to return anything. I’ve been a few times and each time left frustrated. Avoid if you can.

This is, by far, one of the best craft and fabric stores around! I have always found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Their enthusiasm to help you find all the right pieces for your project, combined with their own knowledge and experience, has helped me countless times!
They have a very wide selection of supplies, and their prices are hard to beat! From yarn, to scrapbooking, to fabric, Joanns really has it all, and this location has some of the best staff to go with it!
I would definitely recommend this Joanns for your crafting and sewing needs, even over others in the area. I recently moved about a 30-​minute drive away from this location, but gladly make the trek every time, despite other locations being closer. It’s worth it!

This place is awesome, so much to choose from and the worker with that awesome Alice in Wonderland tattoo explained so much to me. I was lost at first and she totally helped me. It is very busy tho, and it did take awhile for me to find someone to ask anything. Also I never received my coupons via email like I was told, but other than that I’m happy with this place

Good customer service and an organized store. Centrally located in Federal Way so its easy to get to. Great sales!

Never again. I have an antique map I wanted framed and it was suggested to me that I bring it here, along with a 50% and a 30% off set of coupons. With out these coupons it would have been well over $ 800 (I did want a double mat). The framing came out great but cost me over $ 200. A few days later I went into Hobby Lobby to get something for my sister and just for the sake of it I asked their framing guy how much it would cost to do a second, similar one. He quoted me a price of under $ 200, no coupons. JoAnn must have a crack habit.

You can’t really go wrong with JoAnn’s when they send you love with coupons to spend on craft items that can pile up when you are quite the artistic one. I used to just walk in and buy whatever I needed but now I have become coupon savvy and started waiting to buy items until I received a coupon! They have sales once in awhile that I admire and splurge when the time is right.

I could spend all day in a place like this! Fabrics, crafts, flowers, baking, scrapbooking and sewing classes! The isles are wide and clean! Lots to choose from and always having sales. I came in for tool and came away with many more items I probably didn’t need. The fabric counter has a number system and seems to work good when there is more than one person cutting. Well displayed items, they have a wide assortment of things to choose from and always have a HUGE holiday section. The store is set up pretty well and easy to locate an associate on the floor. Check out is a formed line and each register is open for business! They even mail out coupons as well as participate in RetailMeNot app on my phone! Can’t go wrong with JoAnns!

PLEASE BELIEVE if I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD!!! The workers here are SO RUDE! If I’ve been here 10 times, and ⁴⁄₁₀ the workers are RUDE, theres a problem. The first few times I figured, Oh everyone has a bad day ONCE in a while. But nope– not the OLD GRUMPY LADIES THAT WORK HERE. TERRIBLE SERVICE. They speak with an attitude problem– I wanted to reach over the counter and smack her. SERIOUSLY– JOANN FABRICS– Do you hire just anybody? Folks– don’t even waste your time here, if you have the time, go a little further down the street– there’s hobby lobby who has sometimes better sales and MUCH BETTER SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME TO THIS LOCATION.

I like this store but the sales ladies are often rude; especially the ones that work in the help center/​refund area. A few months ago I was looking for some silk flowers and the person working told me she didn’t have time to check other stores for me and I would just have to drive to the next Joanns.

If you work with yarn, Jo-Ann’s has the Vanna’s Choice colors, which are not found in a few other stores. I love this product, and the store manager I worked with told me all about how to work the sale prices, etc. I recommend this place also for wall art prints and more. A great selection and a cut above Tuesday ‘s and Home Store. Check it out!
