This place is very good and actually taste like Korean food. People are nice and have a clean restaurant. There is also free WiFi and the password is on the menu bottom right.

This is the Korean food place where you get the most bang for your buck. Food portions are huge for what you pay! I love all their kimbap and dumpling selection! My favorite dish is their kimchi fried rice and ral-Boki. The only thing that is subpar is their banchan, I always look forward to banchan when going to Korean restaurants but I’m disappointed by their limited selection.

I feel like I discovered the Korean restaurant of my dreams today. This place is delicious! We ordered the classic Mommy dumplings. They were perfect steamed buns, fluffy on the outside, filled with a savory pork mixture. The seafood pancake is also worth a try. I can’t wait to return and try more of their offerings.

Their Chol noodles is the best. I’ve also tried their fresh hand cut noodles, fried squid noodles, veggie kimbap, rabokki, pork katsu, kimchi fried rice, all of their dumplings dishes. I love all of the dishes they make. The flavor is light but unforgettably delicioso. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. The service was really good also. The two women working there are very nice. I’ve bought a bunch of friends here to try their food and they love it!

Food is just alright price is alright but i feel like im paying for barely average food. Staff is not very welcoming but theyre not bad. Restaurant is clean but the cooks arent very courteous whem they cook and serve. Theyre appearance and beahvior kind of brings the quality or mood of the restaurant down. Do not cater here. Theyre a rip off.

It was Clean and service was okay. Interior is fine but we didn’t enjoy what we order. It was not worth $ 35.

Clean place. Went here for lunch. Had the pal pal ramen. It was pretty good, Full of flavor. I ordered spicy fried chicken and kimchi rice to go. Sadly those two didn’t taste that good. The kimchi rice lacked flavor and the fried chicken should be eaten fresh. They’re known for their dumplings but I I couldn’t have any since I don’t eat pork.

Hubby and I came here to order some mandoo to compare it to Daebak Wang Mandu and we liked it. We ordered original mandoo, kimchi mandoo, and the spicy mandoo. The prices seemed cheaper than Daebak Wang Mandu. We paid $ 4.99 for about 8 original mandoos and we got free sauce and kimchee on the side(to-go). The mandoos are definitely smaller than those from Daebak but they were still pretty good. Personally though, I liked the kimchi and the spicy mandoo. They don’t use the fluffy steamed dough for the kimchi and the spicy but they were tasty! :) And the service was awesome. I would be back if ever in federal way~

Not your typical korean joint in a great way. For lunch it comes with 2 simple kimchee dishes and that’s all you need. Best kimchee ever! I wanted to lick up the sauce… lol…well balanc ed sweet, spicy and sour. This place is unique because ultimately the handmade noodles dishes are fabulous. Handcrafted right there. The menu is simple and limited, however it means the dishes they have taste even better. The chicken noodle soup was only 4.99 and huge. It could have fed me twice. Super friendly and excellent service. I know that this is our new go to spot. Besides I want to try so much different things on the menu. I wish them great success.

This place is so awesome! The restaurant is a little hidden and looks a bit run-down, but once you get their food you won’t regret coming here. I mean… each dish is around 5 dollars to 8 – 9 dollars. THAT’S EVENCHEAPERTHANPHOORCHIPOTLE! HOWGREATISTHAT? Parking is easy, and it’s so close to H-mart– you can do some grocery shopping after your belly is full and happy. :) I got seated right away and food came maybe less than 10 mins. Their staffs were friendly and respectful. I got mool mandoo and kalgooksoo. Mandoo itself is a bit small as a main meal but as an appetizer it is a great portion. Their kalgooksoo was big and tasted very home-made-like. It didn’t come with side dishes except two different kimchies(they were okay) probably because I ordered kalgooksoo. And. the total came to be around 12 after tax which is very rare for korean food. I am definitely coming back to try different kind of dumplings and their kimbap(I really wanna try tuna kimbap next time). My mouth gets watery thinking about their food again hehehe: D I definitely recommend this place to big groups, small groups, family members, friends, coworkers– anyone that enjoys food!

This used to be like some other Korean restaurant – think it was called garden Korean or something where they grew their own veggies. Used to be good too. But this new place was DELICIOUS!!! We kinda went cray cray and ordered too much food to the point where we got food coma and couldn’t breathe. We ordered: Dduk bokki(spicy rice cake) Veggie kimbap(Korean veggie rolls) Tong dumpling(some sort of dumpling) Omerice(fried rice topped with omelette with ketchup) Free appetizer — Korean mochi with something in it that tasted good Dduk bokki was SO good. It wasn’t spicy but it just melted in your mouth. They come in huge chunks so not much on the plate FYI. Veggie kimbap is also very good!!! Tastes fresh and if you dip it in the dduk bokki sauce it makes it epic. Try it I dare you. Couldn’t eat tong dumpling because it had meat. But from my friends they said it was delicious. Omerice was also good(I ordered it without meat). It was very fresh and they got the taste right! All their food was just amazing!!! I highly recommend this place! Also it’s not so Korean. On their menu they have English so anyone can walk in and feel welcomed unlike some fob places :)

This restaurants is now«Mommy Dumpling House» Their grand opening was august 27th. Mon-Sat 10am to 9pm. They are closed on Sundays. The same owners and staff. The menu has been paired down. They have added items such as kimbop, and ddukboggee. We went to have bibimbop and that item is no longer on the menu. Seafood pancake crisper than usual and the flavor is still amazing. Chopchae comes on a large platter. The rice is tucked under the noodles soaking up all the yummy sauce. The soy sauce was just a tad heavy today. The noodles perfectly chewy, the veggies sautéed just right. Kim fried rice comes with a fried egg on top. Menu says choice of beef or bacon. It had nice presentation. The thing that was missing for me was the crispness that comes from pan frying the rice. The banchan have been reduced to three. I am hoping that is temporary. They used to have 6 or 8 and I loved every one of them. The Kimchee was really tasty. Mommy dumpling came complimentary must have been the grand opening give away. It was full of flavor and the dipping sauce really put it over the moon for me. The restaurant was packed and yes we had to wait a bit for the food but we knew they were doing their best. The staff were very attentive. I think they will do well. We will be back in a couple weeks to dine again. Happy dining!

Garden gave me a few mixed feelings, but it did bring some comfort in the form of Korean food. I came here with a large group of people(15) to celebrate after a graduation ceremony. They allowed us to make a reservation and put us in a separate room specifically made for large groups. The first thing I noticed was that there was no music playing in the room so it was awfully quiet. I would have felt a little more comfortable if there was a bit of background noise. We ordered quite a lot of food for the entire family. I thought the banchan(side dishes) were pretty good(better than I’ve had at some places). We ordered some of the dumplings which were good, but not phenomenal. I liked that they were handmade, you could taste the difference. We also ordered some the onion and seafood pancake. It is giant, thick and scrumptious! I loved all the pieces of seafood within the pancake and dipping it into the soy sauce. For my main course, I had the knife cut noodles. The portion size was HUGE. After some of the appetizers, I don’t even think I made it through ¼ of my noodles. I’ve had this dish before and I think Garden makes it pretty well, but not the best. I found the noodles to be missing a little something because it tasted more on the plain side. Interestingly, Garden puts dumplings in this dish, something I have not seen before. Some of the family members ordered the spicy pork belly with squid. It is a portion size meant for 2 people and comes in a sizzling pan. There is a good amount of meat and seafood in it. The menu says it comes with clear noodles, but I actually found no noodles in the dish. There was some disappointment in the family when they realized they wouldn’t be getting noodles. It is labeled as spicy, but is not that spicy. If you can handle a bit of spice, you can probably handle this dish. Unfortunately, service was pretty off for me tonight. I’m not sure if it was that specific night or the number of people in my party, but the waitress was pretty moody. I originally had ordered sujebi(a soup that has dough pieces in it) because it’s one of the foods I loved growing up. A few other people in my family also requested this dish as their main course. The lady however complained that it would take too long to make. I found this to be a little aggravating because it’s on their menu so they should be willing to make it. If they are complaining that it’ll take too long and refuse to make it, they should take it off their menu. As I was ordering my knife cut noodles(kalgooksu), I realized that there were soybean noodles(a seasonal item). As the rest of my family was ordering their dishes, I asked the waitress if I could change my order before she brought it to the kitchen. She told me that I could not. Not sure why she was being so moody, but because of her, I wasn’t able to get TWO dishes that I wanted to try that night. Overall, the food was good and did bring me some comfort because Korean food is what I grew up on. However, the rude service was really unnecessary and really brought down the experience that I had here. Hopefully others don’t have to be denied of the food they want to try.

Super friendly, which makes a world of difference when dining. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner(who I suspect was) even brought us a sample of some veggies she prepared for her family — big + for that. Definitely a cozy, family owned, feel good type of dining establishment. They had a little bit of everything for everyone… dumplings, noodles, BBQ and all the fixings. We ordered: Gogi MonDoo dumplings(kids not a fan of) ChungGookJahng(yum to me!) KalBee(kind of expensive but delish!) ChopChae noodles(which is one of my favs!) They even have a website if you want to check out their menu before heading out. Plenty of parking too!
